Ooo. My first spicy review!…read more This is the only physical Adam and Eve I've visited. Whenever I enter, I'm welcomed with all sorts of smiles and how are yous. Just the way retail employees should work. They're always extremely knowledgeable about the products because it's basically their job to up-sell and because they have firsthand experience with some of the merchandise. I visited in early February and there were a few couples, but way more people shopping for friends and SOs. Lots of deals and money to be made around this time of year! I can't compare it to other A&Es, but for the town of Jacksonville, it has a good amount of stuff. The website obviously has more to offer, but if you need something quick or just wanna browse, this is the place for you. Lots of toys, lingerie, movies, the things you would expect from a sex shop. Plenty of toy cleaner, lubricant, and novelty gifts surrounding the checkout counter. The prices are good, too! Don't expect to break the bank here because while they do try to steer you towards the more expensive items, they always bring up cheaper options. They've always been good at not making you feel awkward. Some people feel out of place in adult shops because of the stigma surrounding being openly sexual and I definitely feel like a store like this one would make more people feel okay with expressing themselves. My only issue would have to be the lack of bags, not the bags after you purchase something. You know, sometimes you want something sleek when storing your personal items and the only thing they offered was this (very plush) gray bag that could fit three blow dryers. Not exactly discreet or cheap. You something that looks like a cosmetic bag that fits everything I need in it. Some bags... make things... melt. It's weird. I don't feel like saying this because I'm a grown woman and anyone who's friends me with on and off Yelp is grown as well, but I'll say it anyway: sexually enjoying yourself is a natural thing. Whether you do it with a significant other or others, a friend, a random person, yourself, or you paid for it, there's no need or reason to be ashamed of it. Actually, indulge whenever possible and appropriate. Might take the edge off of some of you. Enjoy~

Went to the one on Western Blvd, been a Priscillas girl for years out of convenience, didnt realize…read morethere was also a Priscillas three doors down. Told the salesgirl at A&E what i was looking for, what i used, why i liked it. She must have seen dollar signs above my head because she immediately steered me to one of two toys on the "high-end" wall. I wasnt the only one, either. I told her my price point but that i was okay with paying a bit more for a good, reliable toy. The one she got stuck on was over TWICE my budget, whenever i asked about others all i got was "its okay i guess...but this one...(toy in question)" Against my better judgment, i went for it. I have never been so disappointed in a toy above $20 IN MY LIFE. I was actually BORED. In fact the $20 toys actually work better for me. And of course they laugh at you for trying to bring a toy back, even if its not even a day out of the package. Yes, theres risk involved in picking any toy, trust me i know, but $100?? Seriously? "Call the company and complain" is all you can manage? And the other salesgirl actually had the nerve to tell me it was "because i had desensitized myself" because i like something a little wider than a screwdriver and wasnt "typical" i suppose "so thats why it didnt work on you". The Design. Doesnt. Work. Trust me- i even tried it backwards. Suggesting my body is defective when you have $100 of my money IS NOT HELPING. Newsflash, Adam n Eve- if all youre selling these days is $100 toys, either LISTEN to what your customers tell you they like (not just what fattens your commission) or have a better customer service policy. You know- like, ACTUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do yourself a favor ladies- go down the street to Priscillas. Those girls are a lot more knowledgable, a lot less condescending, dont work on commission, and theyve always told me THE TRUTH about their products. In fact, they had the same hi-end product, but told me they werent actively promoting it bc nobody knew enough about how good it was yet to advocate it. Much MUCH wider selection, too. Toy #2 was a THIRD the price, works better for me, and the customer experience was MUCH preferable. Adam and Eve needs to put less investment into their interior design and more into training their salespeople.
