We were greeted at the door by an incredibly attentive and informative young man named Dillon. He wasn't your typical salesman. He truly wanted to know what we were looking for so he could steer us to the right couch, asking about materials, style, etc. He helped narrow our search, saving us time and money. He really listened. That's a rare trait. No high pressure, trying to upsell extras we didn't want. He was pleasant and efficient. We'll be sure to seek him out again for any further purchases for our new home.

Buyer Beware! We were told we could receive a discount by…read morepaying with a check. What they failed to tell us was that before they would deliver our furniture, we would have to prove the check had cleared our bank. I received a text from the delivery company asking me to schedule a delivery appointment, which I did. One hour later, I received another text saying I would have to provide proof that my check had cleared. Why is the customer responsible for proving a payment has cleared? Doesn't the store have access to verify that themselves? I sent a photo of the canceled check. That wasn't good enough. I was then told I had to send it to the store instead of the delivery company. So I did. Now I've received another message from the store saying I must also provide proof that the money was actually deducted from my bank account. This process has been frustrating, time-consuming, and completely unnecessary. If this is your policy, it should be clearly explained before customers choose to pay by check and schedule delivery--not after. If you're considering paying by check to save a little money, be prepared for extra hoops and delays that were never disclosed upfront.
