In group, It is uncanny how she has an eye on everyone, so you might feel a light touch on your knee to keep it aligned while she's ensuring the group is inhaling and exhaling at proper intervals to optimize your workout. In private sessions (which I am enjoying right now during the healing of my broken arm), she isolates the intended muscle(s) so no impact to the injured area. She has also helped me with my PT exercises and puts a Pilates spin on it. Even when I was uncomfortable due to chronic pain (that has subsided, thank goodness) and not at my best, she encourages me. Thank you, Everlea, for being you! So grateful!!

After just a few months I have seen results in terms of my flexibility, control and strength that I have not seen with any of my other training. I am now able to do things I couldn't even dream of doing even as a teen. The studio is super cute too! With a Moss green wall and a purple velvet couch in the waiting room and a great choice of equipment (reformers, cadillac, barrels, low and high chairs, foot correctors... you name it). And she has online classes available as well, so if you travel (like I do) you have some great options.

FIRST-Time Review of Club Pilates Cardio Sculpting Class-WOW!…read more First of all....I SURVIVED! Second of all..I loved every minute of it!! As a first timer walking into Norfolk's Club Pilates Cardio Sculpt class, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had only done the free intro class last week, so I guess the class was going to do, maybe a little reformer work, some light stretching, nothing too crazy! Baaaby! SPOILER :Mama got a FULL body, heart pumpin', sweat drippin', muscle shakin' workout tuhday!! What surprised me most was how seamless the class blended traditional Pilates movements with cardio burst, like leg circles, jumping lunges, squats, and core-cardio sculpting!!! What?! Yes! My abs, arms, and glutes, are still talking about it. Despite being a newbie, I never felt lost. Pam, the instructor, offered mods and checked on me and others often. Everyone in the room was sweating, smiling and breathing. lol. I'll be back!! Take advantage of a free class. You'll be hooked like I was!

Pam, who was the instructor, was very informed and made sure everyone were safe in their movements on the reformer. The location is great, it's at the new Railyard at Lambert's Point and there were plenty of parking. They have different membership options and their app makes it really easy to buy and make appointments for classes. I highly recommend trying this place out! If you don't want to pay for membership, they have a $29/class option.

For the first time of my life I can see biceps in my arms!! (Sad, but true) All the instructors are upbeat, friendly, encouraging, and helpful when it comes to positioning the body correctly. The ONLY reason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the studio the class is in does not accommodate tall people very well. While I know the ceiling cannot be raised so my hands don't touch it, the barre is a bit low and makes some exercises feel awkward.

I've been in physical therapy with other companies for over 6 years now, and this was the first place to actually recognize what exactly is causing my pain. I primarily worked with Krysia and Catherine. Catherine taught me so much about the importance of the mind to muscle connection. You don't have to exhaust yourself with tiresome workouts- she showed me exactly how to engage the exact muscles I needed to. This made it easier, thus leading me to practice constantly. I find myself doing it when I'm just sitting in traffic or laying in bed. You don't have to get sweaty to perform physical therapy! I could physically see a difference in my posture and mobility. Krysia helped identify the root of my pain and validate exactly how much pain I've been in. She was able to bring so much relief to my body. Literally from head to toe. For years, I was convinced that I would just constantly be in pain, but she brought faith back into my life. I fully believe now that I can be strong and live a less painful life. I've also seen some of the other practitioners in there, and they have always made me feel so welcomed while providing just as high of quality work. Including Maureen at the front, who helped me on many occasions with getting appointments that helped suit my hectic schedule. Also they have a great virtual app for communicating with your provider and tracking appointments. I love this company. These women are all so educated. I had navy doctors tell me I was fine for years. Now I know that I wasn't fine, and thanks to this team I'm finally able to get the help I deserved all along. This company helped give me my life back. 10000% recommend!!

You WILL have fun and burn lots of calories. This location is so huge that I haven't visited all the floors yet. I've just been on the 1st-3rd floors. My only complaint is the parking situation. It is downtown, so finding parking can be horrendous unless you pay an extra $10 mo to park in their garage. I had to park very far away to take the 6 pm bellydance class on Monday and I didn't feel safe walking alone to my car. So, I may have to pay that fee just to be closer to the building. Other than that, I haven't experienced any negatives.
