Whether…read moreyou are looking to lose a few pounds, dance your butt off, have fun, or make new friends this place is all of that and more. Each instructor brings a different flavor to the party! Zumba classes are offered every day and at a variety of times, so if you have a busy work/life schedule there is usually still a class for you! The studio offers a variety of other classes/fitness programs as well, including Pilates Reformer and Bootcamp. STRONG by Zumba is the newest workout class introduced to the studio in July 2016. This is a new format by the ZUMBA brand combines high intensity interval training with the science of Synced Music Motivation. Nicole and Patricia (family studio owners) became instructors for this format and began teaching in a brief time period to follow. If dance is not for you, this program is an incredible way to get a great workout in. Nicole and Patricia have done a fabulous job executing this program and ensuring the well being and safety of each student is intact, all while providing a fun filled energetic workout. The Zumba Fitness classes offered at Latin Beat are not only a blast, but will kick your butt! As I mentioned above, each instructor brings something really dynamic to the group. Patricia (owner) and a Zumba Jammer, will energize you with her passion and spirit. The amount of knowledge this amazing woman has on health and fitness is remarkable. I've learned so much from being both her student and a fellow ZIN (Zumba instructor). Patricia is someone who truly invests in her students and wants them to be the best they can be. Nelson (owner) will make you feel like you are always on fire! His classes are full of energy, but also allow you to truly unwind at the end of a long day or week. Nelson is one of the funniest people I have ever met. His patience and compassion for his students is a huge reason why I became a regular at Latin Beat. Nicole, she may be young, but that does not stop her from igniting the room with her energy and natural skill for teaching fitness. Her classes are a blast and her passion towards her students is heartwarming. Nicole 's humble and enthusiastic attitude make her an inspirational instructor. Suzette, is a powerhouse of energy and inspiration. She will work every muscle during a class (especially your legs #squatsfordays) and has created a very welcoming and thrilling environment to work out in. Her music and routines are creative and easy to follow along with. Did I mention this girl also runs 1/2 marathons and competes in Crossfit as well?! AMAZING. Orisa, I don't know if there are words to describe her. Another crazy ball of energy. Although you may end up running around the studio most of this class, you are guaranteed to leave with a smile on your face and painful abdominals from laughing so much. (I owe my six pack to her) Whether she is teaching or a participant, this wonderful woman makes an effort to make everyone feel so welcomed and loved! Marie, is the newest instructor to Latin Beat. Although I have not had the opportunity to take her class yet since I work, I have had the pleasure of dancing beside her in many Zumba Classes and can tell you this girl is awesome! If only I had her incredible rhythm. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STUDIO! It's affordable! It's fun! And you may even walk away with life long friends like I have. I'm very thankful for this studio and the people that run it! Check them out! http://www.latinbeatstudio.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=latin%20beat%20fitness%20studio

I was in a vulnerable place after giving birth, limited schedule with even more limited energy. I needed a community just as much as I needed a place to exercise, and the coaches, staff, and members at Reimagym became just that, my fitness community. I'm the strongest I've been in 5 years, and I find myself doing things on instinct, like deadlifting my toddler off the ground! If you're on the fence about signing up, do it. The worst that would happen is you walk away with more fitness knowledge than you'd ever get at a chain gym, and the best is you would enjoy it as much as I do. This review is cross posted.

This is probably the cleanest and most classical studio around Boston and I have been coming here for about two years. I skipped the last two months after my duet partner moved to NYC, but now I am back for privates. Okay - there is no beach season this year (yet), but this no excuse to be out of shape. (Okay - A sphere is a shape). I work next to the studio so I lack even the excuse "how do I get there." Besides, parking is not a problem (except around 9 AM when people come to get their cars from the tow lot next door).

It is perfectly designed for the dancers body, emphasizing strength, stretch and control, so when my Mom said she had started classes at Mind in Motion Pilates Studio, I felt that I'd like to give it a try as well. Let me just say, I had no idea the transformation that would take place. I had abdominal surgery that left me with very little muscle control. Not only has working with the Mind in Motion instructors increased my core strength, it also helped me regain control I had lost due to my surgery; control my doctors weren't sure I'd ever have again. I went to Mind in Motion hoping to get a bit of a 'work out' and instead transformed my body. Li has a profound understanding of the body and instructs diligently to insure proper placement, breath, and engagement. The staff is knowledgeable and motivating, the studio is spotlessly clean, and the equipment is top notch. If your looking to just 'exercise' then go to a gym. If your looking to learn True Pilates and change your body, then go to Mind in Motion Pilates Studio.

Derek and Regan are my favorite instructors for different reasons. Derek is great at creating a class that mimics an outdoor ride. Whether we're modeling our workout after part of the Tour de France or just taking on a series of hills, I always feel like I left with a great workout. Regan always choose fun, upbeat music that helps you to power through her drills. I feel like sometimes a class can be repetitive, but the music and her attitude make the class go by pretty quickly. I also recently tried a Wednesday 6am bootcamp class that meets outside at Conway park. I'd never worked with the two instructors (with Sean + another instructor who I hadn't met before). I normally DESPISE bootcamps, and it can suck being the new person to a group. But the instructors had great attitudes, were really funny, and made the class enjoyable by changing up our activities frequently. It involved a lot of partner work, but I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. AND--I felt twinges in my abs from all the planking for at least a week afterward. (Which means I should probably do this class more often.) The only downside to these classes is that I would really love another 6am spin class (although obviously not possible if the indoor space is already in use). I feel like a lot of people would do a Friday AM spin class if it were offered. I'm giving 4 stars mostly because I've only found the 6am spin class to be the one class that I really consistently attend, but the Training Room is an awesome place to take classes if you want a low stress, low-commitment trial with a new activity.

The instructors encourage you to do what feels right for your body and offer modifications to help with challenging poses. If you are thinking about starting or coming back to yoga, this is a great studio where you can go at your level and feel a sense of achievement after a challenging but welcoming class. This is to Krista L. Why don't we get the story straight instead of you telling lies. You called…read morethe studio and spoke to me. I told you that the Pilates intro was free but the barre was $15 and you chose the Pilates introduction and I specifically told you that if you didn't show up that there would be a $35 fee to cover the cost of the instructor that showed up for your intro. Instead you took the barre class knowing that I told you that it was $15 for a single class. So technically you owed $35 for skipping the Pilates introduction and $15 for the barre class. That is a total of $50 but I only called you looking for the $15 for the barre class. And yes I did ask you if you signed up because it said free because that is exactly what you did. You had no intentions of going to the Pilates introduction and you took the barre class and lied about the website being wrong and giving false information which was our fault. But you failed to mention the phone call discussion we had before you signed up for anything and that I explained to you in detail the difference between the Pilates introduction and the barre as well as the cost for each and YOU CHOSE THE REFORMER INTRO! So I did you a favor instead of charging you the $50 you owed I was only looking for your $15 payment for the barre class. Everything you wrote was a lie. I was never rude to you and you conveniently didn't mention that we spoke about the difference between the two options and I was the bad guy for doing my job and getting the money you owed! I'm glad you had your chance to make me look bad by lying about everything and quite frankly, we don't want people like you as a client. You're a liar and a trouble maker and above all you never paid your bill. Clearly you can't afford Pilates if you can't even afford a $15 barre class lol. Your comments are false and you know it as well as I do. You belong at low scale gym like Choice Fitness or the YMCA that offer low costs for membership and free classes that is more up your alley. It's very clear that you can't afford a membership at Passport Pilates so say whatever you want to make us look bad because your only making yourself look bad because anybody that is a member clearly knows you can't afford to be a member.

Just purchased a Groupon for an 18-class Fit Barre punch card for $95, and I wish I didn't. This class was horribly boring. The music is inappropriate and at whisper volume (they were playing that depressing Adele song while we were supposed to be doing difficult ab moves, then "Sitting on the dock of the Bay" when we were at the barre doing "cardio"... not exactly a motivator), and the instructor, while in great shape, and a seemingly lovely person (hence the two stars, instead of one), really shouldn't be teaching group classes. She didn't seem to have any rhythm, and she had a hard time explaining the moves to the class. Half the time, she didn't do them with us, either. Too many breaks, too much over-explaining... not enough action, I guess. I can actually see how she would be an excellent pilates instructor, but Barre is supposed to be more "high octane". If you want to go to a really excellent Barre class, try Barre N9ne in Andover Center, and see Tanya. I won't make the mistake of going anywhere else again.
