Pure Barre in Oakley is a beautiful studio with fantastic classes. I am about 16 classes in and that is about how long it has taken for me to figure out what is going on (in a good way). The instructors are really great about helping with adjustments so you get the most out of movements- so if they are giving you lots of adjustments in the beginning that is totally normal. I am down 1/2 inch in my waist and feel strong. I also have more energy. I am also waking up muscles and learning to recruit them. The studio is beautiful. Immediately when you enter, shoes go to the left. There is a variety of clothing, including "sticky socks" or "grip socks" which are needed for class (you can buy these ahead of time or in store- they run about $18). There are also skincare and other fantastic smelling items from a woman owned brand (this Pure Barre is woman owned too). Towards the back is the check in desk. The barretender and instructor will greet you there. Be sure to tell the instructor you are new (if you are) so they can pay special attention on your form. There is a bathroom all the way to the back. To the front right is the studio, and behind it are lockers and equipment. A whiteboard will show equipment needed (and this is wiped down at the end of class). The class itself is fantastic; there are 4 total formats; they move quickly and have great music- it's completely normal to shake- in fact it is a good sign. Classes somehow fly by for me- and I usually do get an endorphin rush. Instructors are high energy and super nice. They give clear instruction and do an excellent job of making sure your form is at its best. Other clients are super nice and if you let them know you are new, they are very motivating; some of them are thousands of classes in! If you are on the fence about whether to give Pure Barre in Oakley a try I would definitely recommend it- and if you stick with it you will love it! read more

The women who run this studio and those who teach here are amazing! The classes are challenging. I leave drenched in sweat every time. The teachers are inspiring and great motivators. They push us to keep working and call out our successes in class. Once you start going regularly they call you by name during class, and they're always there to help you modify exercises if you need to. If you want a great workout from teachers who care professionally and personally, then this is the studio for you! They have done an incredible job adjusting to the reality of COVID-19, too. We have classes online that we can watch anytime, and they interact on the Facebook page with workout tips, life updates, and funny content. I can't wait to go back for classes at the studio, but they are doing awesome using the platforms online, too! Thanks Pure Barre Oakley for making working out fun! read more

OMG. I'm obsessed with Pure Barre! Since starting PB February, not only have I lost weight and inches but I have a freaking six pack now! It TOTALLY works and if I could go everyday, I would. My favorite instructors are Christina, Jen, and Kendra. Love. Thank you PB for making Cincinnati suck way less for me ;) read more

Pure Barre Cincinnati Oakley - 3 months Pure Barre = Crop top ready!! - Barre Classes Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

Pure Barre is an amazing 60 minute workout, the time flies by with the great music mix and variety of exercises. At times you don't feel like you're doing much, but it works, you're crunching your abs or tucking your tush. You will feel it later - later that day or the next day or two. I'm noticing changes after only three workouts and can't wait to try more soon. read more

I'm a recent barre convert and can finally say I get what all the Pure Barre fuss is about. Ever since I started going to their pop-up classes at Ziegler Park, I've become hooked! They offer classes every time of day starting at 5:45/6 a.m. and three different styles: Classic, Empower (cardio) and Reform. I'm a big fan of Kate R's classes, but you can't go wrong with any of the instructors. I've seen them run some great deals around their anniversary (October) and Black Friday, so I'd definitely keep an eye out for those! I wasn't sure if I'd be able to rationalize the cost (it's definitely on the pricier end), but considering how often I go - and the fact I actually LOOK FORWARD to my workouts - I'd say it's money well spent! read more

The Oakley Pure Barre is a sad example of a supportive community. First, they lock the door so you cannot get in even if you make it there just in time. Just is not good enough. It's tough when you pay for a sitter only to leave and turn around to come back home. My budget is tight as it is. I'm a new mom working full time and this was one thing I was trying to do for myself. Yes, they learn your name and offer snacks and water, but when you've paid for an unlimited month and get injured half way through (injury not related to Pure Barre) and then ask to pause your month so you do not lose the last half of it, they say you can add two weeks if you buy a new month!? Why? I already paid for the remaining month. Also, when I am trying to get a focused workout, please don't tell at me about my "shelf." I heard about the work out being great, but if the drive is so much on how my body looks rather than how it works and how I feel about, this place is not for me! So elite and excluding. I have never experienced this level of rigidity and dehumanizing ambiance in a place touting health in my life. Perhaps another location has something more wholesome to offer, but it is not at Oakley unless you fit their mold, or, are perhaps very punctual ALL the time and good at tuning out the words of other women telling women to get their shelf ready for summer. I just wanted to be physically strong to take care of my family. It won't be happening at this place though. Today was the last straw. read more

This place is amazing! Very clean and bright, lots of positive energy. It's definitely a hard workout but you don't feel exhausted afterwards. You feel refreshed and ready to face the world! Perfect combination of pilates, yoga, stretching, strengthening basically all the good stuff. I recommend the foundations class to beginners but it's definitely good for vets too. Sweetest staff ever! They really know their stuff. I was so worried I would be lost or judged( haven't worked out in 4 months) but they guided me and encouraged me. I have never felt better about my body than I do after going to Pure Barre. It also really helped me with some chronic back and knee pain Id been having do to my very physical job. I wish I'd found them sooner! Thanks. read more

I am also a recent barre convert and I absolutely love it. This studio is beautiful and clean. The staff are always friendly and the instructors are very knowledgeable and motivating! It took me a few classes to get the hang of it; but basically the workout is tiny contractions of muscles using your body weight, resistance tubes, and a small ball. It is low impact which is safe for your joints and muscles. It's always set to great music and you leave feeling accomplished and relaxed! They also sell really really cute clothes and socks. It's addictive! The only thing I wish they had was some space to get ready for work when I attend AM classes. Other than that- no complaints! read more

I have been coming to this Pure Barre location since the first week they opened...to say I'm hooked would be an understatement! Pure Barre combines the flexibility and core work of pilates, the mental clarity of yoga, and the toning benefits of weights all with great music spurring you on. The classes are not easy; five months in and I still wake up sore after a workout. I have seen amazing tone and definition just about everywhere. All of the instructors are wonderful, so you really can't go wrong selecting a class to attend. I do agree with the previous reviewer that the only downfall is the price. Not a cheap obsession but on par with what you pay for pilates reformer classes, etc. As with most things in life though, you get what you pay for! read more

I came to Pure Barre after hearing one of my co-workers absolutely rave about how much she loved going to the class. Typically I just go to the "gym" and really looked forward to switching it up. Pure Barre is all about focusing on certain areas and using really small movements to target those muscles. I looked it up on youtube before I went so I had an idea of what to expect. I thoroughly enjoy the class and look forward to coming back each time. The instructors are very helpful and encouraging. Since the new year, to be expected, the classes are extremely full. Hopefully that slows down. Make sure you get there early so you can get a spot, though don't be surprised when you lose your personal space :) The only downfall would be the price. It isn't cheap, but they do offer your first class free so you can give it a try and see what you think. Overall, I would highly recommend Pure Barre to my friends, and have already! read more

I have been there for a few clases so far, I really enjoy it. The studio is nice, the staff is nice and helpful. I have had two instructors so far and they are both great, I enjoy the class and I definitely feel the work the next day! I was not convinced about barre class but their clases and staff are awesome read more

I love Pure Barre, but not this one. My instructor was good and the workout was challenging, but overall the staff and the other people were, I guess, kind of inexplicably snotty. They had no reason to be, so it was confusing and irritating. I received nothing but dirty looks from the people at this location. I did a free intro week and Pure Barre Cincinnati Oakley made no attempt to follow up with me to see if I'd like to come again next time I visit Cincinnati. Know what? I don't. At least not to this particular location. The people at the Pure Barre I frequent are friendly. read more

I have been going to this location for pure barre for about a month now and I swear I have already lost weight and gained visible muscle! Kate has been an AMAZING instructor. She takes the time to walk around and tell EVERYONE there doing a good job which is so uplifting and a great way to make everyone feel great. All the other instructors are amazing as well! read more

A recent Barre convert, I absolutely love this studio! The instructors and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The studio is clean and has a welcoming environment. A great work out! read more

I am obsessed with Pure Barre and I've only been going for 3 weeks! After taking a long break from exercise due to school and work, it was a great way to get back into it! It's still high intensity, but low impact! So we don't run or do crazy burpees etc, but it's still a tough 60 minute workout. All of he instructors that I have had are super nice and helpful! They definitely know what they're doing and are always willing to help out. It's definitely awkward at first because you aren't sure what you're supposed to be doing but after a few classes I got the hang of it. Don't be afraid if your muscles start to shake, that means you're doing it right! read more

I recently moved to Cincinnati from Boston and was bummed when I had to leave my Bar Method studio. I had never taken a Pure Barre class before trying out Pure Barre Oakley, and I was pleasantly surprised! The workout was different from the barre classes I was used to, but I soon became hooked! The classes are challenging, upbeat, and constantly changing. The owners and instructors are SO friendly, motivating, and knowledgeable! I'm so happy that I found Pure Barre Oakley because it has made Cincy feel more like home! read more

I had done about 10 classes at another Pure Barre Studio before I came to this one. When I arrived Megan made me feel welcomed and showed me around the studio and asked if I had done barre before. The studio is clean and seems to be more organized than the other studio I went to. They have lots of class times for every schedule. When you first start there is a big learning curve but stick with it because the results are great. After a few classes you really can see your body change but you will be very sore too... read more

Just survived my second class! Hard work but satisfying. I am not a fit/physical person but at Barre3 I feel that it doesn't matter. Instructors are gentle- but also motivating. This is a judgement free zone where you start where you are and do what you can. Great atmosphere- great people. read more

I love coming to Pure Barre Oakley. The instructors are enthusiastic and innovative with the workouts. I enjoy my hour a day there very much. Highly recommend! read more
