My abs and obliques right now hurt when I bend over, in a good way though, you know "hurt so good"... yeah, in that way. Ryan was our trainer last night and he did an excellent job of keeping the energy up and the motivation going. He really made me feel like I did have 20 more seconds in me, I could really make it through! He did fail to mention though that you might feel like you can't take a deep breath in for the next day and a half, but don't worry, that's just weakness leaving the body. I love that the workouts are just 45 minutes and you really get a full body exercise that i have no doubt you will see results with. The gym itself is a great, open, clean space with different equipment options that indicates the variety of workouts you may experience in your time here. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if your looking to get a great workout where you will see real results and feel like a community while you're at it!

"Burn Boot Camp" is definitely a very fitting name for this place! This workout was hard, and…read moreextremely rewarding. The trainers were awesome and super motivating, I really enjoyed when Ryan would say motivating things throughout the workout "be comfortable being uncomfortable" was something I really listened to! It was about 45 min-1 hour and we did what was called Tabatta and worked our core, we were moving the entire time! We split into smaller groups to transition through different stations / used different equipment - we did 30 seconds of an exercise, and then 10 minutes holding a position, which was hard but I liked the variety of things that we did. The music I listened to was great, and the atmosphere was very high energy! Also, I really like the before and after pictures on the wall of people doing these classes/program that have lost weight - it's super motivating! By the way - On Saturdays they do a class (free I believe?) and they also have a 14 day trial that you can do if you're unsure about joining!

When I made the decision to tell my company I'd be willing to move (if needed) it was one of the first things I considered would be a con to leaving. It's hard to replicate the workouts and the support system. I never considered myself a "morning person", but I was never a "working out" person either. For the majority of college, I didn't schedule workouts and, you know what, it worked out fine. When I moved to Cincinnati post-college, being on a new schedule with new stresses meant my body wasn't giving me as much grace as it did before. Now I can't imagine not having bootcamp. I still miss days all the time (yes, 5:30 is early and, yes, my bed - like yours - is awesome), but this is the first time I have felt like my lifestyle has changed vs. going through a "phase". (My P90X phase, my yoga phase, my Rhythm & Motion phase, my work-gym phase...) I love that you show up and Brian just tells you what to do. No time to wander around trying to come up with something, no getting bored, no letting the time get "scheduled over" by meetings or other commitments. I also love that you can make it as intense as you want it, or not. Some of us bring 30lb weights, and others are at 8lbs. It's all good. Brian's great about just being encouraging, not intimidating or hyper-competitive. Still, you see some of the women there and you want to get after it. It's a really encouraging environment full of a lot of strong women and one cool dude, even if physically some of us are still discovering how strong we could be.

Sweat is the best workout I've had in years! What an incredible training experience…read more Sweat is great for so many reasons. The venue itself is pretty awesome. The owner did such a cool job decorating (I didn't even know that could be possible for a gym!). It's very clean, contemporary looking, and well kept, including the locker room. There are two main training areas, one for the bootcamp and one for personal training. I haven't tried out the personal training yet, but I can't even begin to describe how much I love the bootcamp classes. It is the greatest feeling in the world to go to a class that is only 30 minutes long and you seriously are burning afterwards. The trainers are awesome and really know how to pump you up and get you through the class. Danielle (owner) and Taylor are the two trainers my friends and I have had, and they are awesome! Bootcamp is usually a smaller class setting, which is pretty cool because it almost feels like personal training. What's also nice is that the classes aren't tailored to men or women. Anyone can come and get an incredible workout. I haven't looked forward to a specific group workout class in a while. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to try a new place and get an awesome workout! Tip: There's a Groupon right now for a month's worth of classes - try it out! They're a great business and group of people.

Outside of the environment the owner Danielle and bootcamp instructors are top notch! The personal training is highly personalized and Danielle is very knowledgable about working with people who may have previous injuries to regain strength and mobility. Bootcamp is great because it is only 30 minutes but really high intensity to get the best workout in that time frame and is super convenient because it's offered 6 days a week at several different times. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The instructor helped us through our hour long workout to make sure we had correct form, etc. Orangetheory is a combination of treadmill, rowing machine, and floor containing weights, TRX, etc. In our strength class today, we were on the treadmill for 27 and rowing/floor the remainder of the time. Everything from the lighting to the layout gives that "let's get it done" energy. The equipment? All in great shape -- smooth, ready, and clearly cared for. You can tell this location takes pride in keeping things sharp, clean, and organized. I'm visiting from NY and staying on the other side of town right now, so my go-to gym (PF Finneytown) -- where I stay with family -- is a bit of a drive. I figured I'd give Oakley a try since it's just a few minutes away... and I'm so glad I did. I actually stopped by on a Saturday night around 9:45 p.m. just to get a lay of the land before my first full workout the next morning. The young woman at the front desk didn't just wave hello -- she offered to give me a tour. She had such a positive spirit, high energy, and genuine kindness. She walked me through the whole place, upstairs and down, and made me feel completely welcomed before I even picked up a weight. That kind of energy leaves a lasting impression. And honestly, that's what makes PF Oakley stand out -- the vibe. A few team members really go above and beyond to make people feel seen and supported. There's a great foundation here -- the energy of the space itself, the layout, the music, the atmosphere -- it all just works. You come in ready to lift and leave lifted. Finneytown will always be my OG home base -- that's where my fitness journey started, and it's got that raw, family-style gym soul I crave every time I'm back in Cincinnati (and even when I'm in NY). But Oakley? Oakley is another chapter -- vibrant, modern, and full of the kind of energy that makes you want to push a little harder, hold a rep a little longer, and walk out saying, "Yeah... I did that."
