The class itself was quite small and intimate, if you prefer smaller classes this is perfect for you! They also had a sign up front customized to welcome us which was a very cute and personalized touch. Our instructor, Erin Seibel, was very sweet, energetic, and encouraging! I'd recommend trying to book a class not right at rush hour unless you live close by, the traffic trying to get there is my only complaint if I had to dig for one, especially because it is by a busy intersection coming off the highway. Great studio with diversity of classes, not always typical barre3 but also has strength classes and diversity of times as well( early morning to post workout) !Diversity of the people who attend , mostly 98% female but they are of all ages and diverse ethnic/ racial groups as well as diverse shapes and sizes. The teachers and staff are diverse and bring a lot of energy to their classes. It really feels like a community with many activities centered around holidays. Highly recommend this studio!

I really wanted to…read morelike CorePower, in part because they do have some excellent instructors and nicely kept facilities with showers etc. which you most definitely want in Atlanta. 95% of classes in Atlanta I've found are heated and CorePower is no exception, much to my dismay. This company seems to be one of the only here with convenient (caveats) locations and consistent quality of instructors / facilities. I like all of their classes, C2 classes have been my sweet spot, YogaSculpt is my punishment when I'm late for C2 (kicks my ass), and C1 when I've been beat. Tara, Ben and Cassidy are outstanding instructors and the rest of this review is no reflection on the staff. For $150/mo I really had hopes of this being a one-stop yoga shop. All they'd need is a smattering of yin and restorative classes, and some unheated options. I must say though, even after C1 classes, I've never left feeling relaxed. Great workouts, but must those be our only choices? On top of this, with the exceptions of the instructors I mentioned, all of the instructors have the same monologues down verbatim. Combined with how formulaic each class is, I never really felt like I was leaving yoga afterwards. Lastly, there are varying policies on tardiness. I admit I push it there sometimes, but today I was under two minutes late (due to parking nightmares) to three classes in midtown and O4W. Occasionally I've gotten lucky when someone was still in the front of the studio. Other times I've been told 5 minutes is the absolute latest anyone can be let in. The last straw today was a young woman coming out of the utility closet inside mouthing through the glass that she didn't have a key to open the door for me. I understand more affordable or smaller studios not being able to keep a staff person out front as a courtesy for 5 minutes, but there's no excuse for CorePower. Another mild nuisance was having to call to cancel. The hunt for a one-stop shop yoga studio in Atlanta continues.

I emailed and called to ask for a refund but the people I communicated with were extremely unsupportive and not willing to help. The membership is expensive and I didn't use the membership at all for the period I was charged for. I enjoyed the classes themselves but am extremely disappointed with the company and the customer service. I would've considered re-joining once settled in my new city at a future date but am thoroughly disappointed by my interactions now and the lack of any grace.

Sad to say that Club Pilates is a pyramid scheme. They have limited class offerings for Level I,…read morewhich is hardly a workout, that are almost always booked a month out by repeat members or are unattainable if you work at all during the day. Even their weekend classes are limited and booked. Past that, you need 10 beginner classes to do any other classes offered at the studio, which they make impossible with their schedule. Before signing up I also recommend reading the agreement in depth, from the large signing fee that isn't mentioned until right before payment in addition to the $200 limited monthly membership, they also will not legally let you cancel your membership for the three-month contract even if you are unhappy with the experience. Past that, you have to apply to cancel even before the end of your second month to be approved, yes approved, to terminate your membership at the end. The instructors were always very nice and so were the people there. The studio was always clean and so was the equipment. But the management is clearly capitalizing on its location and customers.

So, I was a little nervous because I wasn't sure how much of a fool I was going to make of myself-- but I really wanted to switch up my workout routine. I went to Gina's Anusara class for beginners. The space is small, and a little weirdly organized. They only accept cash or check, so good thing I had a checkbook. You deposit your money in this bowl, and if you need change, you make it based on the cash in there (honor system). I really liked the vibe of the place. Very relaxing and very soothing. Gina was very nonjudgmental and helped me at my sad attempt at a half hand stand (why do yoga people LOVE these??) but she was SO patient with my sometimes dense behavior. The poses were very suitable for a beginner, and even before the day was out I was feeling sore in my arms (awesome!). I really liked this class, and given that there were like 5 students total, it was great to get some individual attention. I will definitely be back, and I might sign up for a package and save a little money.

I started OTF at Madison Yards a month ago yesterday, and I've seen crazy progress in my fitness! I have been going 4-5 days a week (with the exception of one vacation). A month ago, I could barely run a mile. I'm typing this as I cool down from running a 5k!!! Coach Kai has done a great job teaching me how to have proper form on the weight floor, and Coach Kasey is incredible at motivating me on the treadmill. I can't wait to see what I'm able to do a year from now.

I've been dying to try Pilates, and I finally took the chance to try it out using Class Pass! I…read moretried the Obliques and Cheeks workout since it targeted some muscles I wanted to work out (and it also didn't seem too intense for a first-timer). As soon as I entered the studio, I was warmly greeted by the instructor for that class, Tina, and the woman manning the front desk at the time. The person at the front desk made sure to ask me about any current injuries/restrictions, and gave me a rundown of the class space and the reformer machine. She also passed on some helpful tips and information since it was my first time. Then, she made sure to notify Tina about my current injury just in case. The class was tough, but I felt so amazing during and after! Before the class began, Tina asked me if it was ok for her to correct me as needed since it was my first time, and she did exactly that, which I greatly appreciated! I'm also surprised by their class package since it seems to be much cheaper than other places! Highly recommend anyone to try this class out! Parking: They provide you with a 2-hour validated parking ticket, much like other businesses in Colony Square!
