Pretty much the most basic thing an HVAC person could do. The person said the earliest they could come out would be this Friday and quoted me the price per pound- said it was no issue. It's a vacation rental so we blocked off the rental for Friday so this could be done- thus losing revenue. TWENTY MINUTES before our appointment we get a call from them that they can't do the work and don't want to be "liable" for working on a unit they didn't install (again- they've been here before with no issues) Incredibly unprofessional- I expressed my surprise and the guy didn't care at all. I did let him know that I'd be writing a review to warn others and his response was "do what you need to do" while laughing. I just realized 90% of their google reviews are written by their employees- sad. Harder to scam Yelp so trust the one star average and choose another company. What a joke.

It finally turned into an iceberg in mid-November during the cold snap (reversing valve sensor inop). It took a couple visits to diagnose, acquire parts, and fix all the issues, and Doug's team kept us updated on progress throughout. However, the best part was when James asked if the unit was still under warranty. We checked and it was, with only two weeks remaining on the covered period! So all the parts were covered and the work was completed before the deadline. Considering how much time they spent I was very pleased with the final bill. While also doing the service call for the heater pilot light so I would have hot water. Which was a modest price service call, while giving the pilot light instructions given if it happens again. What was very nice was that a service contract from a previous owner is still in effect and they do not force "x" visits a year. So the maintenance aspect was free, as will be my next one, and my decision when it should be done. They let me know this with a smile, the previous owners were long gone! Thanks!
