I definitely agree with the majority of people here. Bill is a real POS. When he comes to your home, he's the nicest guy until he's done with selling you a system that costs almost 8 thousand dollars. He never follows up and when your system goes down, he tries to upsell you on more equipment. He tells you his system has a lifetime warranty, but when your system breaks down, he refuses to get it fixed. our system didn't last more than 4 years. We swapped it out for another system which was more efficient and cost effective. Moral of the story, DON'T TRUST BILL AND PURASOFT!!!! read more

If I could give this company a ZERO star rating I would!! I financed this system back in 2014 for $8000 thru a financing company!! It worked good in the beginning ( or so I thought). I probably should have been a little smarter with this system, but the owner Bill Really sold it to me ! Moving from downstate, where it's a public water supply and now having a well made me nervous ! I feared having sulfur water!!!! I was told by Bill that the system had to be cleaned out annually (which cost me$500/year) and it's a potassium based system (bags of Kcl Na ate $40/bag). Eventually my water started to smell like sulfur and I had it tested thru a reputable water testing lab and it was super hard water!! Not at all what you'd expect from a softener! Bill came to "clean" my system last fall and was here a very short time( don't think he even cleaned it), he collected $500 cash and didn't even offer me a receipt. I asked him if he tested the water to see if it needed adjustments etc.. he said..oh yeah, your water is fine. Just throw some bleach in your well (shock it) and run it thru and get some iron out. I didn't do either of those things and I decided to have it tested (for$250). Per the water test there is no bacteria and no iron in my water! There was however high levels of magnesium and calcium, and many other minerals!! This guy will never answer your calls or return your messages! I now have a new system that was 1/2 the price and the water is CRYSTAL CLEAR! Not a mineral in it and no smell ! The purasoft system left water stains everywhere, didn't allow any lather of soaps or detergents! All my fixtures had build up!! I've gone thru several coffee pots! STEER CLEAR Of THIS COMPANY ! Oh yeah.. and I had a roof fire (in 2017) and rebuilt the ENTIRE house. All new plumbing, navien hot water heater and brand new appliances... that all have mineral build up and water stains!! read more

This review is relating to the water treatment system supplied by PuraSoft (ours is whole-house water treatment with a combo-unit both removing calcium and iron etc.) with a water softener plus a carbon filter to remove any chemicals and oxidize the sulfur from the well water (removing all of that nasty smell), and the customer experience. The experience has been great so far. I found out that the Purasoft system is using the Clack WS1 valve, which seems to be one of the best in the industry (with motors often running 20 years and longer) and is actually a scaled-down version of an industrial solution by Clack. That means the system is easy to service and get spare parts for, if and when needed (e.g. the injector or the electrical board itself). The sales and service representative represents the older generation, very practical and down to earth. Did not even emphasize that their system is using one of the best valves. Their system comes with a lifetime warranty. The system is more expensive then buying one from the local big box store but you get a customized solution based on water testing, and access to down to earth customer support. i wrote this review to show appreciation for this smaller company, and wish them well. read more

I have nothing but great experience with PuraSoft. This is the first time my wife and I own a house with well system and we had no idea on what to expect until the day we moved. Water had iron, smell, we didn't even want to wash our hands on it. A friend of mine recommended PuraSoft and I got in touch with Bill. Great guy! He came over and not only tested our water but also did a live demonstration of what would it look like if I had his filtration system installed. It was awesome! read more

The initial installation went well but I have been calling for service and they don't answer back my phone calls. I'm starting to believe this is some kind of scam. I would advice people to do the required due diligence and get additional quotes from other companies before spending thousand of dollars on this. read more

My family and I moved upstate from the city and we aren't use to well water. My children are accustomed to drinking tap water. So my husband and I knew that we needed to find an alternative and quick. The gentleman from purasoft came and did an entire testing and water experiment. From my water and Poland spring bottled water, to his purasoft water. It taste better than Poland. I get the filtered water throughout my entire home. The well water was drying out my children's skin and now their skin isn't dry or ruff anymore. I don't use as much detergent also to wash clothing and my clothing come out super clean and smelling extra fresh. We had just bought a new house with a well and had no idea what to do to treat our water. It had strong smell and iron bacteria that was staining clothes and ruining vanities and machines. Bill from Purasoft stopped by and presented us with their system, that uses potassium instead of Sodium. It was so much better, he demonstrated how our water would be with the new whole house filtration system (using a mini filtration attached to our kitchen faucet). We signed everything on the same day and by the next day they were installing the new system. We love the system and recommend to our friends and neighbors. In addition to the great system, Bill is also superb with post sale support. Always available to clarify any questions we have and proactively stops to check if everything is working as it should.
