I was in the mood for a steak taco today and decided to try pupusas express. Definitely would give 5 stars for customer service :) very friendly and food was made to order and didn't take look. The steak taco was good. Sauce was amazing. Inside was clean. I personally prefer my steak taco to be cooked more medium. This one was more on the well done side but they gave a lot of meat and flavor was there.

I have been here dozens of times. It is always fresh, fast and the prices are reasonable! Authentic El Salvadoran food (even my El Salvadoran friends go here). My favorite are the tamales de pollo, pupusas loco, and pan con pollo. You can eat in or carry out. They also deliver in a 4 mile radius with a $15 minimum purchase. There are a few small tables inside and an outdoor small patio with 1 table. They have an almost full bar with beer, wine and liquor. They also sell Margaritas, horchata, soda, juice, agua fresca, cafe, hot chocolate, and desserts. From tacos, quesadillas, ceviche, pupusas, soups, salads, , fajitas, burritos, wings, hamburgers, and even steak and cheese sandwiches - it's a nice variety for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night. They are open 7 days a week. The service is always great. Free parking lot.

First time trying pupusas. It was good. Although I love tamales, I did not like this tamale filling. The side salad was really good although I was surprised that I had to request salad dressing. The guacamole was really fresh. The service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the price was really affordable. Inconsistency: The second time I visited, I purchased takeout for my family. The yuka dessert was smaller and overcooked/burnt.

Their Yelp has not been updated but it's remodeled and of course the food is still amazing!

I came here based on a Facebook recommendation and disappointed that I did. I got the tacos Hondurena and bean and cheese pupusas. The pupusas were flavorful but it was more dough than bean and cheese. Still, not a bad dish. The steak tacos, however: something tasted spoiled in them I don't know if it was a cheese the meat or something else but something just tasted off. Also the dish is extremely salty. I don't know if it was the meat or the accompanying sauces but my God this dish will raise your blood pressure. Service was friendly but I won't be repeating.

Steak tacos really doughy and steak was kinda chewy. Not terrible and kinda tasty. The pupusas were pretty decent.

We've been waiting to try this place out. Love me sum Pupusas!!! I tried to order online but it was not happening so I picked up the phone and am glad I did. I was greeted by a very welcoming gentleman. He oooozed happiness and hospitality and was very engaging in conversation. I ordered some Pupusas, of course. both the Pupusa Revuelta (shredded pork, bean & cheese) and the Pupusa Ayote (zucchini & cheese) and both were delicious. The fillings were generous and I'm not sure why another reviewer said there was no cheese because ours were oooey gooey with cheese. We also got the Tamal de Pollo (chicken tamale), a side of guacamole (a little salty), Arroz con Leche (rice pudding), and Maranon (Tropical Cashew & Maranon fruit juice) & a Horchata (Morro seed drink with milk). Everything was so fresh and wonderful and the gentleman that took my order over the phone was genuinely happy to meet the person who he spoke with and was excited to give me my food! BTW - free delivery in a 4 mile radius

Had a number of bean and cheese pupusas here when I decided to check this place out. They were made fresh - came out hot with crispy cheesy edges, just the way I like. This is a great place for an inexpensive/filling lunch. I wish they had more of a variety, maybe some more meat options. Either way, the food here was great. I'll be back for my next pupusa craving. Don't expect a fancy interior. This place is all about the food :)

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

Gnachas! I had never heard of it and didn't know exactly what I was going to get. I read the…read moredescription and it seemed good. What took me aback was that it said there was parmesan cheese and it definitely was NOT. Apparently this is a traditional Guatemalen dish, like a snack. I was SOO surprised that so much came on the plate. I thought it was an appetizer, so that was surprising. The red sauce was SUPER good also. I tried it on one tostada and then another. It came out warm and the veggies cool and fresh. Like coleslaw without the mayo. Definitely would want to come back and try another dish. I was in a rush, so I ordered the first thing that popped up. The service was great & F if you're looking for authentic, this is the spot!!

The beans were a little on the salty side, but not a problem if spread on the tortilla. Also tried a pastry from their bakery counter. Some kind of layered, broken phyllo crumbs with white butter cream. It was tasty and went well with coffee. You'll need to eat with a spoon or fork and crumbs land EVERYWHERE! My wife somehow managed without dropping any flakes. We also had to try their pupusas and got the pork and cheese. One of the best pupusas we've had in the area! The masa was patted down very thin and the filling was thick and packed with pork and melted cheese. VERY HOT! Good thing we did an hour workout! My wife told me when she lived in the area, she would never go in there alone as their dine-in clientele was all male latino day workers. Aside from the waitresses, she was the only woman there. They had steady take-out business and families would just pick up and go. It's a pretty small place, so not really good to have small children there. The hipsters have not yet found the place, so they don't spend a whole lot on decor. Overall a nice hole-in-the wall place with good prices. NOTE: All the times I have come here, the service is REALLY SLOW. Expect to wait maybe 10-15 minutes to get the check on busy days. Plan your schedule accordingly.
