They took the time to walk me through everything they were going to do, asked thoughtful questions about my dog's behavior and preferences, and even made sure I felt completely comfortable before I left. I can't express how comforting it was to know my dog was in such gentle and capable hands. When I came back to pick him up, I was honestly shocked--in the best way. He was calm, relaxed, tail wagging, and had this little spark of joy in his eyes. He looked so fresh, clean, and well taken care of, but more importantly, he looked happy. I could tell right away that they treated him with real kindness and patience, like he was one of their own. Run by a very nice couple. The store is really well laid out and organized. We had taken our munchkin to another groomer before, and wow, puppy world sets the bar high. Took my 1.5 year old Maltipoo COCO for grooming. He has cuts on some part of his skin (see pictures) because of how short this place shaved him. They never mentioned anything about his cuts when I picked up COCO. I found the cuts the day after. Also, COCO end up with fleas!! He never had fleas before. The person on the front hardly talks to you. He took COCO and said he will call when COCO was ready. I asked for the price and he said the same as last time (this was my first time there) I should of known at this point. I decided to take COCO there because Petco keeps him for 4-5 hours and I feel bad. Took puppy world 3 hours and $75 grooming fee plus CUTS and FLEAS! Never again!! read more

I am updating my review. I keep giving this place another chance to do better because it's not bad every time we go there. Sometimes they get his cut right. So I made an appointment for my dog yesterday I let them know that I was a repeat customer. When I showed up for my appointment today the owner was very hostile and did not let me pass the door. He said "if you wrote such a bad review about us why did you come again?" I left out a lot in my last review. I didn't mention how cut up his stomach and legs were. Or how rude the owner was when he passed my dog off and tried to hurry me out the store. All I'm asking you to do is to cut him to the length you ask me about, cut his face symmetrically, and not to leave him bleeding so badly after an appointment. I really don't think that that is too much to ask. But trust and believe that we will never come here again and that I will be telling people not to come here because if you leave a bad review they will not let you come again. But they won't try to do better. Make it make sense. Hopefully people will get the memo and stop going to this trash ass place. read more

But when I call in to check it, he is rude and hangs up. Doesn't let us check in early (10 mins early) customer service is everything when it comes to getting your pet groomed. The ladies are super nice but it's hard talking to them cause of the owner. I've heard that they give something to the dogs to calm them down for grooming but they never confirmed they didn't. After calling many places puppy world told me they would see Gigi in an hour . Let me tell you that the place is extremely clean & cute !! It's like a boutique for doggies, and the owners are Korean super nice people, really clean & did an excellent job on Gigi . This place is AMAZING. I have a Maltese, who after I left for school, left with a family member to take care of. When I came back, I could hardly recognize him again, he was in TERRIBLE condition and completely matted. I took him to a couple of places who either quoted $80-$100 or refused to take him at all (including my regular groomer!). Thank GOD I drove by this place and stopped to ask. They gladly took him and quoted me for $60 (first time because of his condition). I felt so at ease with them as they took such good care of my baby even in his filthy state. I came just an hour and a half after to once again not be able to recognize my own dog... He looked amazing and was soo happy!! I will never go anywhere else!! read more

I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS! Owner was SO RUDE!!! I called to make an appointment and he said he had one that day. I wanted to get a quote (which is never usually an issue) but he said it starts at $35. I began to tell him the size of my dog and he interrupted me by saying, "his size doesn't determine the price, it's based on his hair condition." Verbatim. So I thought, great! We took my pup in, and the owner of the shop immediately said $85! I was confused because my dog's hair is fine, not matted or anything. I asked why it was so expensive and he said it is because my dog is big. First of all, he is medium sized. Second... I thought his size didn't matter? Whaaaat the heck? If only the owner had let me finish my sentence over the phone, we wouldn't have come in if we knew it was going to cost $85 for a trim. We said the cost seemed pretty high and he got full of attitude and said, "Well have you checked prices anywhere else?? That is not a high price!" I was like... WHOA. BYE. And we left without service. Now I made an appointment for a place with better yelp reviews that only costs around $50. So yes, I am glad I checked prices elsewhere! =D read more

My dog always comes in super dirty with weeds stuck in his fur because we hike and he comes out looking amazing. Not to mention he always gets a scarf or bandana based on the season or Holiday and they always send him home with a treat bag for Halloween, Christmas Easter. I am so pleased with the care and grooming skills of the owners at Puppy World. I go there every few months when my dog is unrecognizable and they do such a wonderful job. The owners get down and greet my dog by name and they always send her home with cute bows, bandana, blanket or treat. I'm so confused.. I took my Shi Shu here.. after an hour they called me and said she was ready.. i was surprised because usually it takes longer.. I paid $45 for a bath.. they didn't groom ANYTHING! Not one snip. I paid for a hair cut and got nothing. When I walked in the owner was watching something on the computer with his headphones in.. feet up.. when I asked him why they hadn't groom her he responded with "I don't know, we've been in business for 10 years.. long hair is pretty" I only gave them a 2 star because as I was walking out I noticed an employee (I think it may be his wife) was taking my dog out of the cage and she was so kind and gentle with her.. used to like this place but they returned my dog with a cut and within a week it got BAD. it was super red and bleeding even after a week, i just wish they wouldve let me know there was a cut so i couldve bandage because it was on his neck/cheek part and so it was difficult for me to notice until i saw the dark red color. this couldve been avoided w honest communication! maybe i couldve stopped it from getting worse. my dog now needs a cone/ medicine bc he wont stop scratching it and making it worse :( experiences have been different for others but this place is not for me :)! read more
