I decided to book an appt here for my dog since I was waiting in the same lot for my dry cleaning…read more Shelba was very polite and offered an appointment for a few days later on a Saturday at 9 am. She was very thorough in grooming my dog. He is a pit bull so I forewarned her that he hates getting his nails trimmed but needed it. She did a great job and mentioned that my dog had no problem and behaved well. I picked him up a few hours later and he was happy, smelled great and had a cute green handkerchief around his neck. She also brushed his teeth. For all of the services provided (brush and bath, nail trimming and filing, and teeth brushing) she gave me a very reasonable price and treated him well. We will be back.

I will start with the good. My small Chihuahua got a basic care package that included a shampoo,…read morenail trim, and ear cleaning for $35. When I picked her up, she smelled good, was clean, her nails had been trimmed slightly, and she had a cute little lei around her neck. She did not seem to be mishandled in any way. Now I don't care for the partition that disables the view of my dog being cared for. I made an appointment for 10 AM and it took a total of an hour and a half for her shampoo, nail trim and ear cleaning. I'm not sure if she had to wait. But I do not like that I was not invited to stay. When I dropped her off, it was her first visit there so I was expecting some eye contact/smiles friendly feels... however, I did not receive those. It was more of a business. "OK I'm going to take your dog and I will call you in an hour or hour and a half. Fill this out." so the vibe did not feel friendly per se. When I picked her up and was given a receipt, there was an option to tip, but I don't know why I would tip if I wasn't able to view her being taken care of. The last thing I wasn't very happy with is that I believe that they could have trimmed her nails a little bit further they were very very similar to what they were when I dropped her off. They also did not file them down so they are very jagged... I will have to do that when I get home. I don't believe that we will be returning.

Most places want me to drop off early and pick up late in the day. If my dog doesn't have to sit around in a crate all day, well, I much prefer that! My experience with this place has been extremely disappointing, and if it were possible, I would…read moregive this business a negative rating. The last straw came down today when I went to pick my dogs up and she had both my 40-pound Australian Shepard and my 15-pound Shih Tzu crammed into one cage together so small that they were on top of each other and could not move. This is not the first time that my dogs have been mishandled at this shop. My Australian Shepard has been repeatedly burned with the razor on his underside. The last time it happened it became infected, and I had to take him to the vet for antibiotics. Adding to the frustration, the owner is the most unfriendly person I have met in a long time. I cannot recall a single instance where she even said hello or smiled. What is even more disheartening is that she never once said thank you. When you drop your dogs off the only thing she says to you is "Same as usual?" This phrase suggests that there is at least some consistency with her service - but that couldn't be further from the truth. I have lost count of the number of times that she completely shaved off my Shih Tzu's mustache, and when I bring it to her attention, she doesn't even bother to apologize. Reading through her other reviews on Google I suspect that most of the reviews for this shop are from friends. I noticed one was actually from her daughter, who also works there. I would be leery if you rely on reviews to try this one out. Having entrusted eight dogs to different groomers over the past 25 years, I strongly recommend exploring other options. Find one that you can communicate with and that doesn't get mad at you for telling them how you want your dog groomed.
