Very happy overall with my experience at Puppie Luv. Did exactly what I asked for. Asked me questions to insure they did what I wanted. Being cold out (well sort of) I didn't want her cut short but she was definitely looking raggedy! Betsy Grace gets stressed at being crated for any period of time. However she was only there for a short time and she was crated in the same room as the grooming and all the hustle and bustle going on. Not somewhere in the back. Dana always does an amazing job with my anxious senior beagle! I live in the neighborhood and see her about once a month for my pup's nail trim. She is so friendly to chat with and very gentle with my old boy, Jefferson. She always goes above and beyond with my requests and Jeff leaves full with lots of treats and pets! This was my go to place for getting the dogs groomed. However my fiancé dropped them off right at 7am and went to pick them up at 5:45 assuming that they were done since they close at 6 and they weren't finished with the dogs. They still were working on one of our dogs and she had to wait another 15 minutes to finish up. I don't like how they ask you to get your dog to them early and make you wait all day for your dog to get groomed so they don't have to deal with customers coming and going. My parents switched to a place in Round Rock names La Mia Bella pet salon and they schedule actual appointments for your dog and don't make your dog sit stressed out in cages all day. read more

We recently adopted an Alaskan Malamute from a rescue. He's a sweet and gentle boy and we're ecstatic to have him as part of our family. He was unfortunately quite neglected by his previous owners and weeks of being stray has severely matted fur throughout his coat. We bathed him and have tried to work out a lot of the knots but he has spots that are best suited for professional attention. As a Pflugerville resident, I like to shop and support small local businesses in my area. Outside of the convenience of proximity, I like watching my community thrive and grow and spending my money with Pflugerville businesses is a way to ensure that. That's how we came across Puppie Luv. We call on Wednesday, the 21st and set an appointment for Friday, the 30th. The receptionist who took our appointment said bring our boy after 9am. We're happy he's going to get some much needed attention and deserved pampering. My girlfriend brings him in today to find that the appointment was never written down and we are turned away. This is not a way to conduct business. Bottom line, if you want to shop local and be met with satisfactory service, there are other groomers in the area who deserve your business much more. read more

Without fail, the first thing that happens at Puppie Luv is a huge doggie hug. We have found Puppie Luv to be very accommodating, flexible and skilled. I just adopted my dog from Austin Animal center and was looking for great groomers because he had really bad matting on his back legs. I have to say Puppy Luv did a great job. He is nice and clean and now we can start over growing his hair out. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. I definately recommend them!! This is, hand down, the best grooming and boarding organization in the area. Dana and her staff love our pets and take great care of them. These guys are the best. All the groomers are very kind and loving to the dogs. They do a very thorough job and my puppy always leaves happy. Dana the owner works so hard. The people here were extremely friendly to me and my puppy. It was his first time at the groomer and he was very nervous but they were super sweet and talked to him like he was their own, which went a long way in keeping him calm. They did a great job. We'll be going back. read more
