After meeting with Nate and following his directions, I have seen such a huge difference! She used to bark whenever she saw a stranger, whether they were 5 feet away, on the other side of the park, or walking on the other side of the street from our house. We saw a MAJOR improvement within a few days of our first session with Nate. A few weeks later, he returned for a 2nd session. We discussed what still needed improvement, he gave more specific suggestions, and I mean it when I tell you THEY WORKED! Our girl is now fine with people coming to our house, strangers approaching her to say hi, and she just seems so much happier overall! It has been over a year since our final session, and I will note it is important to stick to what Nate teaches you. We notice she regresses a bit if we are inconsistent (she's a routine-driven dog, so it makes perfect sense), but she catches back on when we realize what we stopped doing. Thank you SO much, Nate, for helping us communicate better with our pup! We have such a loving, trusting relationship, and we now get to share her with anyone who wants to say hi to her!!

From our first meeting and throughout all our training sessions, the staff at K9 was super helpful, patient and thorough. Our first meeting was an assessment with Alicia. She was friendly and kind when meeting us and our puppy. The entire front office staff was also super helpful in scheduling our assessment and the following training appointments. They worked together perfectly to help keep us on course with all our training and follow-up information. After we decided to enroll our puppy in training, the training staff (Kobie, Ashley, Sophie and Geraldine) were fantastic!! They worked closely with us to slowly train Raider. He was introduced to other dogs, learned to heel perfectly on a leash, obey commands, come on command, and sit patiently every time we stop walking. These trainers are truly exceptional! We have heard many times how incredibly well-trained our dog is. Again, we would highly recommend K9 Activity Club and Lodge.

Thankfully they were able to accommodate. At drop off I was told that I would be sent pictures and updates, and that I could text or call them if needed. I never got any updates, nor a response to my message to them. Upon pickup, I was told that my dog did well and that I would get a report card and pictures of her stay. I didn't receive either. The apparent lack organization/reliability doesn't make me feel comfortable trusting my dog in their care. To top it off, my dog has had terrible diarrhea since staying there. Really wanted to like this place so pretty disappointed :/ Update: She still has diarrhea and have now seen reviews from others who's dogs have contracted Giardia here. Let's hope that's not the case

Stella has had intense reactions to other new dogs (on or off leash) since she was 2. I sought professional help a few times over the last 3 years but the advice was always, "avoid other dogs." Over time, we both were anxious and uncertain when anticipating a dog interaction. I felt hopeless and unable to help my dog (and myself) having a hard time in those situations. UNTIL...I found Noah! His confidence, patience, knowledge, care, and leadership made me feel at ease entrusting him with my fur girl. The Mutt Mentor is doing some amazing work, it's unlike any walks I'd seen or could have imagined. Beyond getting exercise, these walks are beneficial for any type of dog; they get to interact with other dogs in a safe structured environment and learn to be calm and listen with real life elements (cars, bikes, squirrels, etc.). I highly recommend and encourage any dog owner to reap the benefits the Mutt Mentor has to offer!

Sherry gives you calm, clear, detailed, interesting, and fun instructions as you learn from her to execute the training of your dog during that scheduled appointment. I adopted a 5-month-old Terrier mix, and she would not go through the dog door-petrified of it. With Sherry's help, in a few amazing training sessions, I am excited to say, that is no longer an issue. My dog goes in/out like it is not even there. We are now working on training her to take walks and with one session we are moving in a positive direction. I can't stress enough how I look forward to our weekly 30min sessions as Sherry gives me the confidence, sureness, and enjoyment of training my dog. Do you and your dog a favor and sign-up with Sherry to help you have a loving happy life with your well trained four-legged family member.
