Good quality, inexpensive, with mostly Indian guests tells me that food is authentic. Considering that the food is all prepared, service is slow (it took 15-20 minutes to scoop our food into plates from the warmers), but that seems to be because they were so busy on both a Saturday and a Monday night. I think you can also order and pay in their app for takeaway for faster service if you plan ahead. Drinks available to purchase or free water if on a budget.
I had 2 curry plate, which allowed me any two entrees and choice of 2 plain naan or rice or combo of both, plus a small salad and pickles for $15 Australian (about $10 US). The naan was good and the curries really good. I had the saag and dal tadka, a lentil dish that I can't get at home. Both mild vegetarian dishes with good flavor. My sister had the rice and 2 curry option which was only $11 Australian (under $8 US), and had smaller portions of curry with no option for naan or salad. We both could choose from any dish, including the meats or chicken. Very casual fast food at prices we can't get back home. read more
