Saag paneer, jeera rice, garlic naan
    C S.

I'm so happy this restaurant has opened up in this space! The staff is very friendly, they have lots of menu options, and the food is really good! Today I ate the saag paneer, which is cubes of a firm cheese similar in taste to ricotta, cooked in a thick sauce of mustard greens and spices. It was fragrant, savory, and filling. Their garlic naan (flat bread with garlic, herbs, and butter) and jeera rice (white basmati rice cooked with cumin seeds and cardamom) are also very flavorful and are perfect for scooping up the sauce from the curries. I recommend ordering everything spicy, as it adds flavor and the heat isn't overwhelming. I expect the food will just get better (they've been open about a month at the time I'm writing). Everyone should go try this great addition to our town! I've also heard great reviews from friends, coworkers, and people on Facebook. If the food is unfamiliar, just ask the server questions or google dishes from the menu before you go. The restaurant is clean and bright with brand new tables and chairs. Photos are from a "to-go" order that I ate in my office.

Amazing! I tried the Hakka Noodles and their mixed veggies for the first time (usually I just do the butter chicken with rice and naan) and IT IS MY NEW FAVORITE! You must try the Hakka noodles if you like Chinese food. It reminded me of them! Wow! So good!

    Tandoori chicken

Food is amazing! Flavorful. Super nice servers. And nice clean place. Loved the food but the Tandoori chicken has been deliciously better than any other place i have tried.

Combo plates are sooooo much better without the crazy amounts of cumin seed in the white rice. Tonight was the perfect amount.

The…read moresign out front says "UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT" so I can't speak for the service or food under the old management but the service and food under NEW management was incredible! The staff was extremely kind and attentive throughout the entire dinner service! Now let's talk about the food! I've only ever had Indian food about three times in my life and Twisted Indian is hands-down my new favorite! I ordered the samosas appetizers. I love that they were fried but somehow not greasy! First time having samosas, and I'm a huge fan! I loved the dipping sauces for them! For main course I got the thali with butter chicken and lamb curry for my 2 dish options. The thali comes with naan, which you can substitute for garlic naan at no extra charge (I'm pretty sure since my bill was so cheap haha), cucumber salad, basmati rice, AND chana masala which is a chickpea curry! Alllll of that for $17.99! This was also my first time trying butter chicken and oooohhhhhMYYYYYGOD! Sooo freaking good! That's going to be my new favorite go to. I typically order chingri Malai curry (coconut shrimp curry) when I got to Indian resturants since coconut curry is my absolute favorite but I wanted to try something new and I'm so glad I did! Twisted Indian's butter chicken is fantastic! I don't think they have a malai option but that's okay! Next up, the lamb curry! So rich and tender! I couldn't believe it's a the option for lamb with the thali cuz it's an expensive meat but they didn't skimp on quality! Lastly, dessert. I have such a sweet tooth so if I can get dessert, I will! And they had another new thing I've never had before: Gulab juman à la mode (served with vanilla ice cream)! Think the Pancake Puppies from Denny's but 10000% better! Long story long: I HIGHLY recommend Twisted Indian and I can't wait to go back!

The standout for us was definitely the chole bhature--perfectly spiced, rich, and paired with soft, fluffy bhature that just melted in your mouth. The nutri kulcha was another highlight, packed with flavor and cooked just right. To top it off, the masala soda was refreshingly tangy and a great complement to the meal. And don't miss the fish pakore--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Overall, Chatore delivers a fantastic dining experience with truly delicious food. It's a lot more affordable than other restaurants. $5 for three Samosas? That's a killer appetizer for cheap! And they're good--some places put way too much seasoning on the outside. The menu: A lot more variety, and compared to other Indian restaurants the menu is easy to navigate and very Anglicized for newcomers to Indian food. The food: I accidentally ordered the wrong sandwich(I had seen the tikka roll on Yelps ig) and I got the tandoori sandwich but I am not complaining that was amazing and I didn't even know it came with fries. Butter chicken was medium and it was perfectly creamy, slightly spicy, soooo much sauce which is perfect because I dipped my sandwich AND samosas in there. I am so stuffed and I have food left for days(which is great bc if I love anything more than Indians food it's cold Indian leftover straight from the fridge) The service was great, young girl at the front was so sweet and helpful when I said it was my first time. Worth spending my money here at a family owned restaurant that serves up awesome food in a clean and open space--a must try!

Give it the same grace you would any other place that shares a space with a market, but if you can get past that- surprises await you. Came on a date night with my one and only Mr. E and with an open mind, some grace and a tummy ready to go we jumped right in. First- the chilled bottle of water was so nice! Next, the young man brought us menus and brought out the cook to help us order- we truly were grateful for the help! After a few nods and some clarification & spice level negotiations we were ready to roll. They were so patient and nice. Ordered: Chicken tika masala Chicken pakora ( all Chicken ) Samosas (wish I had ordered more) An order of garlic naan which was 4 triangles. Then they brought us tamarind sauce and the wonderful green sauce! I'm sorry, im impressed I remembered this much ( also I wish I was hungrier but had a late lunch so we had to tame our ordering). Food rating: Chicken tika masala easily a 5! Creamy and rich! Chicken pakora ( all Chicken ) Mr. E loved these, I can see why the flavor and crispiness were great about 4.5. Samosas (wish I had ordered more) giving these a 6 out of 5! So good. An order of garlic naan 5!
