Got a Groupon for 17 for 30 dollars worth of food. We got butter chicken, tandoori chicken, rice and garlic naan. The service was great. The girl who was working was very nice. The place was well kept. I wish the little lights on the table worked. It would've been cute. The tandoori chicken was my least favorite. Decided to try them because the other Indian restaurant in that lot was closed and I have to say we were a little disappointed. We started with the aloo tikki chaat, which was a bit disappointing, it didn't have sev, which is usually a must-have topping, and the tikki was slightly chewy. The taste overall was okay. For the mains, we ordered butter naan and paneer kadhai. The naan was buttery and good. The paneer kadhai had good flavor and came with a bowl of plain rice, but it was a bit too salty and oily for my liking. We asked everything to be medium spicy and it was like what we asked for. Greeted by nice worker. I told him of order. He didn't get a notification of the order until he checked it. That's happened before. Hmm....Then confirmed it. Looks like an app issue. Happened before for me on DoorDash ordering. He was still kind and said it would be ready in 15 min. Apologized and offered water while I waited. Appreciated. Restaurant is very nice! We're lunch people so we arrive right at opening, 11 am. Our first Indian food! Close to home at Marketplace at El Paseo. Not having anything to compare it with, we thought the food was delicious and the service was great. We had Fish Pakora to start. This is one of our favorite Indian food places. Their curry was so flavorful! We got 3 curries to split, along with some naan bread. This location had a Groupon deal, which made driving across town hurt less..haha. If you don't like spicy food, I'd ask for something milder than mild...because our "mild" curries still had a big kick to them. The place looks like it's set up for quick service food, but it is a sit down restaurant. read more

It was my first time visiting and the wonderful aroma of freshly cooked Indian food smelled so good me and my crew decided to try it out and I was not disappointed. We were just near there for nenxhies froyo but the wonderful smell coming from this adjacent restraint drew us in. We had chicken tiki masala naan bread samosas dish dish everything was brought out quickly hot and fresh. The smell was on point and the taste is delicious I would give it more stars for both service and food. Our server was very friendly and made good recommendations. This was good for your regular butter chicken. It's my go to dish and this one didn't stand out to me. I would go somewhere else but it wasn't bad. Service and the space were good! If you're in this area, it's a good option for Indian but maybe go up in spice level and don't be cautious like I was. read more

Another fantastic restaurant on the west side of Fresno. I ordered Madras lentils, butter, chicken, and so paneer with a side of garlic naan and samosas; every dish was perfectly seasoned and just enough heat. Food was packaged neatly in reusable containers and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. Enjoyed some the day of and the day after for a picnic lunch. So good!! Restaurant was lovely and welcoming and I was greeted promptly upon arrival by a friendly young lady. Can't wait to check out the rest of their menu soon! I called 10 pm yesterday to place an order for pickup the lady who answered call rudely told me she cannot take my order and lied they are close at 10:30 pm. They close at 11 pm. I called another person work in store to place order. When I got there to pick up order two employees Rajwinder Kaur and Kawaljeet Kaur were on register as I ask for order have me wait and start taking bad about me to other customers dine-in. When I told it was me both ladies start arguing with me and said they are not servants used F*** words B*** to me. It is horrible customer service I ever received. One of the things I enjoy most when visiting the Central Valley is trying various restaurants during my trips. This weekend I have found King Indian Restaurant and boy did they serve some of the tastiest Indian food in the valley. I started with an order of the Pani Puri and it came with more than 6 of the fried crisp fried bread than what was shown on the menu. The dish is served to you where you get to prepare it yourself which was a fun experience. The appetizer was delicious and refreshing at the same time! The second and third dish that I had placed were the Samosa Chaat and the Veg Pakora. Both were very delicious, unique and served in good portions. What I like about this restaurant is that they offer different level of heat for each dish to appease each person's preference of taste. The last dish that picked up was the chicken tikka malsala and some garlic naan. The amount of chicken and veggies blended with the curry was amazing. The chicken was super tender while the curry was tasty. The establishment offers a bowl of rice with each curry dish, something that other Indian restaurants in the Central Valley do not offer. Food: Five stars all the way! They have a great menu, everything you'd expect on an Indian cuisine menu plus some interesting and enticing fusion items. We tried one of those, the vegetarian Indian noodles-it was like Thai style noodles with Indian spices and thinly sliced onions and other veg-delicious! Another great aspect of the food was that I could handle and enjoy the "mild" level of spicy. We were asked mild, medium, or hot and since Ben is so nice, we ordered all our dishes mild- I thought the spice level was perfect! Maybe next time Ben will try the spicy level. The goat curry, rice, and naan were all delicious as well. Everything tasted great the next day as leftovers for lunch. When you are seated they give you a crunchy naan appetizer which was great and something I'd never tried before. Service: great! This place is a mix of take out and dine in, so you can order and pay at the counter or take a menu and order at your table. They only have canned drinks and bottled water at the moment. The food is delicious! When walking into the restaurant, you must check in at the counter. From there, you'll let them know if you'll be dining in or taking the food to go. We were really hungry this night, so we ordered the samosas, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, extra rice, and gulab jamun. The samosas come in two with the two sauces on the side. The butter chicken and chicken tikka masala is good! I wish the portions were a little bigger because it's so good. So, I'm definitely looking forward to my leftovers for tomorrow. We ordered a little bit more than we could eat. As far as the service, I feel like our waiter could have checked in with us a little bit more to see if we needed to go boxes. The ambiance is pretty nice. They have music and music videos playing in the background. It was loud enough to full the restaurant with noise, but not too loud too. They have their opening and closing times displayed everywhere on their restaurant, they claimed to be open at 11. I walked in at 12pm, an hour after they supposedly open, when I walked in the door was unlthey told me to leave and that they aren't open because they need to clean.
