First the menu that was given was not correct prices so when I ordered I did not know that the menu was from a year ago so I was surprised that the price was 5 dollars more . I really didn't want to write this review. I read the great reviews. Saw many recent health code violations (unknown type), but I was still excited to try it out. (This is foreshadowing.) I walked in and there was no AC. No big deal, carrying out anyway. Guy at the counter was so nice. He asked how I heard about them (Yelp of course) and I asked what was his favorite. He said the lemon chicken was his mom's recipe and was the best he's had. I like spicy so that's the ticket. Add some garlic naan. I don't mind the heat so I'm chilling inside. Forgot about the great reviews on the Mango Lassi and go back up to order. He says it's on the house and asks me to review the place since I told him I came in off Yelp. Absolutely. The drink was refreshing and good. Food came out in 10 minutes or so. Got home and it smelled and tasted amazing. Bursting with lemon flavor, tender chicken, basmati rice was great compliment, naan was decent. That's when things went bad. Very bad. After 30 minutes or so, my stomach felt like I had pulled a muscle. Couple hours go by and I'm in serious discomfort. By early early AM I am full-on sick, throwing up, you get the idea. Felt awful for hours and slept it off best I could. Lost a day of productivity. I'm now guessing the violations were not storing food at proper temps. Just an absolute shame. I was looking forward to leaving a glowing review with a couple recommendations like cut the chicken into smaller bite sizes so it's not necessary to try to cut it under the sauce where you can't really see. A few more little chunks of lemon. Give a slightly larger portion of rice. Maybe smaller portions total and a lower price point. The food is good. My favorite is their spicy chicken tikka masala. Although the food is good they are not consistent. Sometimes you get a salad with your order sometimes you don't. Portions and consistency of tikka is not always the same. I went here one afternoon, I ordered chicken on rice and a lamb pita and yes it was great but as I waited paid my money and the gentleman gave me a tea that I didn't order after I ordered an additional fry and drink which stated on the chalk board. When I went to get my food and asked for my sides I had to order again because this mysterious tea I was charged 3$ and some change for. this tea was in a waiting room water cup in size. Our usual Indian place that we go to for Christmas dinner was closed so we got Spicy Doner. And we will be back, because the food was so good! The samosas were some of the best and freshest I've ever had. And they were spicy! The paneer tikka masala was also really tasty, and spicy. :) My brother is a picky eater and he loved the Butter Chicken Pizza. The service was very friendly and the food tasty, so I'm glad we found this place! I can't wait to try some of their other cuisines or maybe the paneer tikka pizza. read more

First off, I'm not shy about giving negative reviews but I have nothing negative to say about this place at all. The food is all made from scratch except for the soft drinks, of course and it shows. They make it fresh while you wait so it's not quite fast food but that means it's hot and fresh when you get it - the naan/pitas included. I ordered the chicken wrap (hot out of mild, medium or hot) and mango lassi after enquiring about sodium content. I'm newly diagnosed with a heart condition that requires that I budget that very carefully. They were happy to answer my questions on how much salt goes into their recipes and I was able to order without misgivings as result. The wrap was juicy to the point of dripping a bit and contained chopped chicken meat (dark and light) and tomato and slivered onion all soaked in what appears to be a yoghurt sauce mixed with enough chilli paste to give the desired heat. The flavor and texture were wonderful and it was quickly gone. The mango lassi was clearly freshly made and had just the right blend of pureed mango to yoghurt to give it a nice body and a dessert-like feel. I had actually ordered two of each as I was thinking that would be what I would need in order to be full. I ended up saving the second of both for another meal as I was quite satisfied with the one. I might have been tempted to finish them off though if I had skipped breakfast. I'll be back to try the lamb wrap next. One minor note - the sauce is generous to the point of dripping a bit so keep a plate or napkin positioned to catch it. Not a complaint, just a note to other customers. read more

I've been spying this spot for a while due to all the positive reviews on Yelp and let me say the hype is real. The inside appears to be clean, the service was quick and the staff were friendly. I ordered 2 shawarma one as a spicy wrap and my wife had the pita with 2 orders of fries to go. I can't rate the fries appropriately since I know the taste degraded after a few minutes in a container the portion size was fair for the price. The shawarmas were both delicious I think the wrap was a bit heavier both costing $8.99 the fries was $3.99. I will be stopping here again to try out some other menu items. read more

This place was amazing. I went here about 3 weeks ago. But when I say this was the best doner kebab I've had, I mean it. The lamb was SO fresh, the falafels were Crunchy and soft in the best way. The staff was extremely friendly and even offered me a free drink with my lunch order. I've recommended it to my coworkers, and they all say the same. 12/10 meal on taste and environment. I've eaten here 6 or 8 times while waiting for people to complete their doctor appt. I drive seniors who can't drive anymore, so I end up close to St. Francis a lot. I've only tried the lamb shwarma on pita, with a mango lassi to drink. I will try something else at some point, but I'm pleased with this combo. The lamb is very tender and flavorful. The pita must be made here because it's a pillow of bread straight from heaven that doesn't fall apart as it is eaten. It also has lettuce, onion, and tomato chunks complimented by a yogurt sauce.
