We visited this restaurant because I wanted Indian food for my birthday. Everything was delicious. We ordered samosas, vegetable biriyani, butter chicken and lamb curry. The only thing missing was my favorite lamb korma which they don't make. I would return again. Good service and ambiance too.

The food is good, but they need to work on their service. Food came out slowly and drink orders were forgotten when ordered.

I had such a marvelous time at namaste. I wanted to order this for my corporate lunch which was 35…read morepeople and they were super accommodating and even opened the restaurant on a day that they weren't usually open which was wednesday. Everybody really enjoyed the food and actually some people enjoyed it so much that they took some portions home. We had spicy lamb, sag paneer, and butter chicken along with garlic naan and mango lasses and rice. So people had a great variety of different things that they can choose. The lamb was a good amount of spice and they did make sure to adjust the spice level and explain to you the different spice levels over the phone before ordering. I would definitely recommend coming back here. This was originally recommended to me by my Indian friends who raved about it.

This Indian restaurant had very good reviews, so I decided to have lunch in here…read more The Thali option looked really good and I saw someone having it, it was a good portion. But I decided for the Murgh Malai Tikka. I thought it was going to be similar to Tandoori chicken since it was cooked in a Tandoori oven, but it was a plate with 12 pieces of white meat chicken chunks marinated in yogurt (I know that's what the description says, but I was hoping that it was closer to a red Tandoori chicken). The food was good, but I am not a fan of white meat chicken. It was my fault, but the service and the overall experience was good. Many choices on their large menu.

Montreal is THE place for good eats; but when you think of great neighbourhoods to grab a bite,…read moreLasalle doesn't often (or ever, frankly) come to mind. Lately there are some locations making their mark in this neighbourhood, and one of them is Punjab. I have to put it out there: I'm not vegetarian, the sound of that word kinda makes me vurp a litttle each time I hear it, but Punjab will bring even the most adament carnivore to their knees. I have always gone in for the daily thali: a threesome of various vegetarian curries, served with rice and cabbage salad and naan at a very affordable price. Like most Indian fare the food is like a warm blanket wrapped around the soul on a blustery winter's night, it doesn't just taste good, it feels good! I have also had the paneer korma which is just so sooo good. Next we have the sweets. I've never been big on Indian desserts but at Punjab, I always walk in saying I won't buy sweets and usually submit to the urge and walk out with a box of various yum yums (the mango balls... OMG). The lady behind the counter is so nice and very proficient. She always recognises us, knows our regular order, tempts me with the sweets, and is happy to explain each item that needs explaining. The food can usually be on the spicier side but as far as Indian food goes, this place is not to be missed! Price, quality, service are all 5 star. A step up from the original Pushap brand for sure!

Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of this place when I first went there. I always get Kashmere chicken, extra naan and a mango lassi if I'm lucky.
