I've had Japanese and Korean shaved ice before and the Taiwanese version is very different from the others. It's a little thicker and fuller so it feels more than water. But still very delicious. I have had Tropitai in person and takeout. I live roughly 30 minutes away and the way they packed the shaved ice, it was still pretty solid by the time I was home. Everything I have had from here has been delicious. My favorites are the wintermelon shaved ice and the wintermelon tea. I can't remember what fresh milk was but it was delicious. Both are very cooling and perfect after an exhausting stressful day. They're not overly sweet even with the condensed milk. Just right. I finally came in person and it's very homey and reminds me of the warmth at my grandparents with all the figurines. Service is super friendly. It's very clean and there's plenty of seating.

No music so it was kind of awkward just waiting for the snow cone. Stopped by today at 8:00 pm on nice summer night and there was no one is sight. I feel like this place could be amazing. The ice was shaved to perfection! Such a small amount of condensed milk.
