Every snow cone and ice cream I've ever had here is great, the staff is friendly, the inside is what you'd expect from a tiki themed snow cone type joint with cute music and vibes. Only thing is order ahead if you can because sometimes the wait can be surprisingly long since everyone wants to sample EVERYTHING. They should limit that to minimize wait times. When I lived in Arizona we had visited Bahama Bucks a few times. Great place to go for a cool treat. There is a store front one off of 104th near Westminster. This is a food truck version of the main store on the corner of 120th and Chambers. I highly recommend treating yourself and your kids to a cool treat from here. A little pricey but well worth it. This is the best place to get a sno cone. They add enough syrup to make it go all the way through, and there are more flavors than you could ever hope for. Service was friendly, and pretty quick. Even on a busy day we had our cones within 5 minutes of ordering. The patio was nice on a hot day and there was even a game from the Bahamas for you to play outside. Inside there were board games to borrow for your visit. The only downside is that this may also be the most expensive place to get a sno cone, (we spent $19 on one large and one small sno cone) it was well worth it for the choice and quality. read more

They ended up putting a bit too much syrup to where my ice was actually floating! Haha. But, did not hesitate to fix it and offer to make a fresh shaved ice! I then proceeded to try the sugar-free cherry which I preferred even more! I liked the tart after bite and the syrup level was much better on this serving as well! All-in-all it was a great and refreshing experience! The staff was very accommodating to my needs and to assisting when the syrup pour was too heavy! Having been born in Hawaii, I remember shave ice as a sweet staple of my childhood. Snow cones might come close, but shave ice is a different, uniquely delicious thing altogether. They also do soft serve ice cream and shaved ice mixed. They have a TON of flavor combos and they have seasonal flavors as well. I highly recommend a cream top, it's so good! This place is a great, bright, and LOVELY layout. The shaved ice is a great price (so funny because it's just ice) but the sizes come in a huge variety There are 5 different sizes and it is great. I went with a "baby" size which is 8 oz and honestly it was enough. I did ask if size equated to how many flavors, and it does NOT matter. No matter what size you can get as many flavors, they recommend around 4/5. I chose 4 on mine: Flavors: 1. Passion Fruit: such a popular tropical flavor that I look forward to. This syrup was slightly...off? I probably wouldn't get that flavor again. 2. Lychee: delicious, refreshing, and my absolute favorite! YES. 3. Mango: It was nice and subtle and I liked the way it went with the other flavors I also chose. 4. Piña Colada: 100% would get again, nothing can beat 2 fruits in one syrup and it was delicious. 5. Blueberry: yummy, but watch your tongue after ;). Still great flavor, and it mixed well with Lychee. 6. Pineapple: this flavor was great, but again it was a little off just like the Passion Fruit. It's hard with tropical flavors. Acai Bowl: this was a great addition. I don't really know a huge difference in size, but I may just buy a small next time and see. The flavor was great and we added a whey protein scoop. I loved the amount of fresh fruit. WELL DONE! Final Remarks on my review. The reason two stars were knocked off instead of one is the professionalism at this place. Since this place is new I hope they make some pretty necessary changes quick. 1. One of the employees Mojo I believe came out of the employee only room with a shaved ice, no mask, eating in the MIDDLE of the work floor. Then proceeds to grab the whipped cream can and fill it up his cup that he is currently eating from. Not sanitary and makes me never want whipped cream. 2. Not even two minutes later an employee who is making shaved ice for paying customers, decides she will make herself one. Totally cool, I would to if I worked at a place like this. The minute she is done making one, she starts on hers with her mask down, eating in the middle of the floor, without gloves, no mask, and talking with co workers; after staring, she then proceeds to the employee only room. This is all while another employee is cleaning syrup off of the side of the cup (which I'm glad they do) and the food is still so close to the non mask wearing employee. 3. And finally another employee who just finished making our acai bowl, does not even finish making our bowl. We guess he got to hungry and passed it off to another employee. He emerges from behind the counter and starts engaging with other co workers in the space, with no mask and eating on the floor yet again. Please practice what you preach. If you don't allow customers to stay in your space and eat, don't let your employees. I did love this place, but I won't be back unless changes are made. read more

He said they were busy. True...but 49 minutes for a pre-ordered drink??? My order finally came out at 8:49. There was only one person working, and the poor young woman was both taking orders and racing back to make them, back and forth back and forth. She did well considering the circumstances, never seemed frustrated and was nothing but kind. But wow, what mis management. We saw so many people come in, wait for 10 or so minutes and then turn around and walk out once they realized the situation. I wish I'd done the same, but I kept thinking that I'd already waited so long, and didn't want to get the kids hopes up. My advice: if you walk in and see only one person working, just leave. I've been here many times since it first opened and have never been disappointed for any reason. Even when the place is busy the wait is never unreasonable and I'm impressed that the young staff is always friendly and working hard unlike some other food places I've been to. I've never noticed anything dirty but I generally get my orders to go or enjoy them on the patio.
