Don't take snow cone in the car as syrup paper to go container will seep through. Got the strawberry did not taste the strawberry at all. The place smelled of cleaning chemicals. No music so it was kind of awkward just waiting for the snow cone. Stopped by today at 8:00 pm on nice summer night and there was no one is sight. I feel like this place could be amazing. This is such a sweet and lovely addition to the Denver food scene. The snowcones are so delicious and tasty. There's a variety of flavors but if you ask Lara about what combination goes well with a flavor, she'll have suggestions. I got the chai latte stuffed snow one. Stuff means ice cream and it was so delicious - even on a chilly day. I definitely need to try other flavors that they offer. They do have holiday and seasonal flavors as well. My puppy also had a pup cup and he loved it very much. He loves snow so this is the closest thing we have to clean snow. They had samples of the praline cookies and those were delicious. They're very soft and just melt in your mouth. Service is super friendly. The space is small but it is meant to be a take and go kind of place. They have some seating outside but inside is predominantly for ordering. Overall, I need to come back and try the seasonal flavors before they change. read more

After a fun Sunday at the zoo, I brought my niece and nephew to Sweet Nola for a snoball treat. Just a short 10 min drive to Mayfair. They LOVED it! My nephew sheepishly showed me his empty cup by the time I turned around to check on him but his bright red smile said it all. My niece's cherry snoball was delicious and fluffy ice, sweet but not too sweet, and generous. I love that they add syrup in between the shavings, like how you should get buttered movie popcorn. She told me on the way home that she wants to come back and try the tiger's blood flavor. Umm...maybe I should've asked more questions! I really wish this business well after opening just a few months ago. The owner was a pleasure to talk with and learn about her Tulane and New Orleans background and her future plans. The ambiance was bright, cheery and clean. Patio chairs are available outside. Parking lot was easy. Support this sweet small local business! We'll be back! read more

I came for a special event back in Nov 2024 and was impressed. Today I decided on this cool day to visit then again. I asked the owner, Lara how was business? She said she was busy thru Christmas. It was slow in Jan & Feb. The last few weeks have been steadily increasing. I noticed her prices have not increased. I had a small Tiger's Blood which has strawberry and coconut syrups. Very red and not overpowering sweet. I remembered to have her stamp my frequent visit card. The space is clean and well lit. No indoor seating, but chairs are available just outside on the covered sidewalk of the strip mall. read more

Took my kiddos here for an after school treat. They would highly recommend bubblegum, cotton candy, and lemon-lime. The child size option was perfect for them. There is plenty of parking and a nearby park to visit before or after for a refreshment. We also chatted with Lara (the owner) and she is so friendly. This place is incredible and a gem for the locals. We drove 15 miles to enjoy the ice treats from this small business. Lara, the owner simply couldn't be more welcoming and pleasant. The shop is super clean and there is ample safe parking. I ordered the candy cane flavored ice with a condensed milk topping. It was mouthwatering. My friend ordered a cherry shaved ice and he enjoyed his as well. We also ordered so praline cookies Lara was selling and I even bought a Sweet Nola t shirt. This is the definition of a well run and personalized small business. I don't live anywhere near this place and I will be back regularly. Thank you Lara. read more

This place was very clean, simple, and cute! I was excited to eat a freshly made snow cone. The best one I had was in New Orleans so to see a place that sells them got me so excited. There were SO many flavors. I love all the unique holiday flavors they had. I got the nectar flavor snow cone, it was delicious! The service was so friendly and quick. NEW BUSINESS ALERT This family-owned business is run by a Denver Native who spent a big chunk of her life in New Orleans. From the moment you step in, you can feel the thoughtfulness and care that went into creating this space specially when proving a very authentic snoball. Since we're still having a hot fall, it's the perfect spot to cool down with a sweet cold treat! What I ordered: Nectarine with condensed milk (a NOLA classic), Watermelon & Lime, and their fall flavors: Pumpkin Spiced Latte & Caramel Apple. Best bite/sip: I have to go with the nectarine and condensed milk combo! It took me straight back to my childhood, reminding me of the raspas my parents loved. But the Pumpkin Spiced Latte was also a standout for me since it's like a lighter version of a Frappuccino, which I haven't had in years! Bonus? It is just okay. As an LSU graduate, this place is definitely serving snowcones, not snowballs. The ice is crunchy and not smooth and the condensed milk portion is very stingy. The kids that were working seemed much more interested in flirting with each other than helping me. It's not a terrible snowcone but there are better places in the Denver area for a more authentic NOLA dessert. read more
