Grapeseed took care of everything from start to finish! Everything was perfect on taste testing, planning, day of the wedding, clean up, billing, and follow up. We had the salmon and steak as our main course... and many of the guests thought the salmon was tasty and cooked perfectly! We had a special request to serve Molly Moon's ice cream and Robert didn't have a problem to fulfill our request! You can't go wrong w this catering company. On the night of the tasting, we were able to taste and adjust all the items on the menu. Our dinner included beef tenderloin and salmon and Robert also provided appetizers and drinks for our wedding. On the day of the wedding I was really amazed at how smooth it all went. The beef tenderloin was a perfect medium rare all through the night. I made sure to take time and enjoy the wonderful delicious food and was blown away at the fact that although it was buffet, the food quality was exactly like the tasting. I received so many positive reviews by many of the guests at the wedding, that this was much better than typical wedding food. Robert and crew made sure that the drinks were stocked, food was hot and the cake was served. I would highly recommend Grapeseed Catering to anyone. Their level of consistency throughout the dinner service was amazing. the first tray and last tray of salmon was cooked the same - moist and delicious. The beef tenderloin always had medium rare pieces available. There was ample food for guests to go back for seconds. It was one of the highlights of the wedding!

    I used Merry Beth as my wedding planner for my wedding this past fall. While she did a good job…read morecoordinating the day of, the experience up to the day was anything but perfect. I will preface this with, I would recommend her for day of, she had good ideas for the timeline, but if you want a planner through the entire experience I would shop around. When we had meetings, she would drag things out and then suddenly rush us out because she had to pick up her daughter. I understand family obligation, but she made me as the client feel like I was the reason she was late, not because she wanted to talk about other events she had done. She also had some other family circumstances (again I understand these), but she brought them into my planning and I had to send multiple follow up emails to make sure we were still on target during this time. Finally, her response when I would ask for updates would be that she had a HUGE wedding that weekend and was focused on that (as a wedding planner, that is what I expect you are doing during wedding season). By saying this, it made me feel like my wedding wasn't special enough or HUGE enough to matter to her. It shouldn't make a difference if you have a 2 person wedding or a 400 person wedding, the person you are paying to help you should make you feel special about it. Be prepared to spend A LOT of money, especially for what you get. For the amount of money we spent on the wedding planner, I could have had two or three beautiful weddings. She charges for every little thing, down to emails saying, "Thank you" or emails I had to send asking her to respond when she was working through personal matters. She also charged us for visits to the wedding location prior to the day of, I wasn't aware she was doing. I found myself doing most of the work, which for the amount she charges anyone would agree she should have been doing. I found all of the vendors, the location, the florist, save-the-dates/menus/invitations, tied bows, the whole nine yards and she wanted to take credit for it. It was my wedding, absolutely perfect and beautiful, but not because of her help, because I planned everything. She actually asked me to bring an extra save-the-dates/invite and menu to my rehearsal so she could use as an example of her work. If she had helped with the vision and look of the wedding, I may have been willing to, but considering I had selected the save-the-dates before we were working together and the menus and invites were also 100% my decision on my own, I don't feel she deserves credit for it. During one of my initial meetings, she put down my florist because of the amount of money she was charging me for flowers and told me to be cautious to make sure I knew what I was getting. The three of us had a mock up and suddenly my floral budget tripled (honestly I am not convinced I would have gotten less flowers for the original dollar amount). She is a nice lady and is helpful with the day of logistics, but be cautious and prepared. If you decide to use her I recommend setting strict guidelines and limits and upfront communicating what you expect for the amount of money you are about to spend.

I had a partial planning with design package and Stefanie supported the process from start to finish. She handled so many small details, vendor coordination and communication, decor placement, attending catering and floral design meetings, and had so much advice for every aspect of the wedding. The wedding day was completely handled by her and I was truly a guest at my own wedding and didn't have to worry about a thing. Additionally, Stefanie had an amazing set of excel sheets and google docs to keep track of all the planning stages and make the knowledge transfer seamless. She had great vendor recommendations - we got so many compliments on the flowers, the officiant, the photographers, etc. She helped with changing order quantities, rentals, and went absolutely above and beyond. Justin and I cannot recommend Stefanie enough. She really is a gem and absolutely worth every penny with how much enthusiasm and attention to detail she has. We met Stefanie at the Snohomish Wedding Tour and she was incredibly friendly and answered all of our initial questions. We really enjoyed the conversation and set up a consultation to discuss details further. Stefanie was so personable in all of her communication and she really made us feel comfortable and heard. Following our consultation, Stefanie sent us an extremely detailed proposal, outlined her thought process behind everything, and outlined various options that aligned with our budget. Had we decided to have a local wedding, we absolutely would have had Stefanie as our wedding planner. Her packages and pricing are incredibly reasonable and include SO much and she truly went above and beyond in every way possible.

Nicole was incredibly detail oriented and walked us through all of the decision we had to make for the wedding thoroughly. For many of the decisions that we didn't even think of, Nicole always had some creative ideas that really aligned with the look and feel we were trying to achieve with the event. Also, Nicole's knowledge of all of different vendors in the wedding space was immensely helpful as many of her recommendations were significantly less expensive than the vendors we originally researched. On the day of the wedding, Nicole took care of everything from the very beginning, worked with all the vendors to set everything up, coordinated with everyone in the wedding party, and our wedding was everything we wanted it to be. The amount of stress she removed from the event cannot be measured and we are extremely grateful that we had Nicole to help plan and orchestrate our big day.
