I used Puls for the first time in December of 2018. I had a tv that needed to be mounted and I didn't have a mount, and I wanted to do the least amount of work possible to get it done (lazy, I know). I had been seeing Puls advertised on my Facebook page, so I decided to give them a try. Making my appointment was so easy. Their website is simple yet elegant, and required very little effort to navigate. I was able to select the size of my tv, choose the option of having them bring a mount, and I could even select what kind of mount it was. I was allowed to pick the day and time I wanted my installer to arrive, and was promptly given a quote, an email confirmation, and even a text confirmation as well. When my installer arrived the next morning as scheduled, he was 10 minutes early and extremely friendly. He was done in a timely manner and even mentioned that we got a discounted price due to a special promotion. I highly recommend Puls for their services. You will not be disappointed. read more

As most here have stated, this is a scheduling company and apparently only dispatch independent "technicians". The first tech came to install new water inlet valves on my washing machine that I purchased myself. After he left, the machine would not work at all. Puls informed me that they would not warrant the work since they were my parts I scheduled another "technician" to come and tell me what was wrong (BIG MISTAKE). This person was over an hour late, in his personal car with no tools and then only offered a quote for $800. This was out of my budget. i found someone local who came and put in the correct parts. After he finished, he showed me that the first person had cut the wire connecting tabs to make them fit and left before actually testing the machine or letting me know I had the wrong parts. i encourage everyone to avoid this firm. read more

Giuseppe, a Puls repair technician arrived on July 10, and I told him I was getting a D80 error on my dryer. He said, "That's the vent," and begin to work on my dryer. He replaced a sensor, told me the dryer was working, and texted me his phone number so I could reach him if I continued to have problems. The D80 error re-occurred, and I texted him. He wanted to send a friend of his at a $150 charge to work on the vent issue. When I told him the D80 error was my reason for the July 10 service call and the work should have been done during his visit, he again pressed to have his friend work on the vent. I asked for a phone number or a way to schedule a follow-up with Puls given that my problem was not resolved, and he stopped replying to my texts. On May 22, Puls sent an unreliable and incompetent technician to repair our washing machine, reported on earlier. Last week, well within the 30 day warranty period, I phoned Puls to report that the same problem was happening with the machine. They sent a different technician who appeared to be competent and reliable. He stated that the machine needed shock absorbers, a common problem. After nearly a week jerking me around, Puls phoned to say that they would not stand behind their warranty, and an additional fee would be required to repair the machine. This is an unreliable, incompetent and dishonest company. Stay away from them. read more

Wish I would've looked at the yelp review first. I'd say it's even high. The issue is they quote you a price and then in order to get the price quoted you have to agree to a monthly subscription or you can pay a much higher price. They say you can cancel the subscription at any time but without penalty but they will charge you again. Very deceptive business practices. This is just an unethical company. read more

DO NOT use this company for appliance repair. They will waste your money and your time, and then your money again when you finally find out how useless they are. I had a leaky washer that stopped pumping out water. Called in a Puls technician, who found that the pump was broken. I paid to order a new pump and have him come out another day. He came out, replaced the pump, and left. I had to call him back out the same day for the door, because it stopped working after he left. The washer kept leaking water, and the technician told me that if I made a warranty claim, Puls would cover the repairs. I made the warranty claim in early July. I waited weeks for them to get back to me, and they kept telling me they'd review my warranty request within the day. It is August 12, over a MONTH since I made my request. They told me that they won't cover the repairs, but they could do it for $1,500, almost double what my machine costs!!! The best part is, they took so long that my membership renewed, AND I have to pay an extra $120 to cancel my membership!!! If I had just bought a brand new machine instead of wasting time with this company, I'd have saved money and a headache. read more

Pls.com is a dispatcher, not an actual provider. They source it out to local independent technicians. I booked a service/cleaning appointment for my washer. Prior to the technician arrival, the washer operated without issue other than it needed cleaning in the detergent dispenser area. The technician took the washer apart to clean the dispenser area. Either during disassembly or reassembly , one of the washer components was damaged/broken. The technician came to me stating he couldn't get the washer to turn on after reassembly. I asked what did he mean? He said something happened and one of the components is not operating any longer. The technician stated he would have to order a part to fix the washer but couldn't provide an estimate as to how long it would take to get a new part. One week, two weeks? He says he couldn't say as to when the part might come in. As I could not fully focus on the issue with washer because I actually work from home and was on a required business call but was able to place the call on mute. The technician left and I secured my front door. Here is my concern, now I have an inoperative washer and often wash clothes every weekend. I don't have a time frame as to when I might be able to use my washer again. Basically, I am left without a washer with very limited options to wash clothes for this week and possibly for weeks to come. To say I am disappointed would truly be an understatement. Was not impressed by Puls at all. After searching on Google for a company to perform a warranty repair on a non-cooling LG Fridge two years old. A Technician showed up and told me the Condenser needed cleaning and usually fixes the problem 90% 0f the time. Job took about 30 minutes and did not fix the problem so I am now out $189 and upon questioning the Tech he replied they do not do Warranty work. LG fixed it under Warranty the next day by replacing the Compressor. I would not allow Puls to touch anything I own ever again. Companies like this prey on consumers. read more

This company is a big SCAM. I call them for a GE washer front door gasket replacement (very specific task). I bought the spare replacement, I asked several times (by messages) the cost of the service. They did not tell me, on the contrary, at the moment of the tech visit, they asked to charge me almost $400 dollars for that service (a new washer machine like the one I have costs about $650). The technician charged me $96 (he could not tell me the cost of the replacement by phone because of their system?), and offered his own services on the side. I booked an appointment with PULS on July 27, 2025. This is our first time using PULS. I called them out to fix our 1 year old Samsung refrigerator that wasn't cooling. The technician did not perform ANY diagnostics via the interior control panel or the computer app that links to the appliance. He merely removed the back panel & said that either the compressor and/or evaporator were bad & that we had a freon leak. He said "repairs were very expensive with his company" & "either way, no repair today," collected the service fee ($96!) & left! If I could give ZERO STARS, I would. This was a complete ripoff & waste of money!!! A different company came out today & there was no problem with the condenser or evaporator, nor was there a freon leak. I requested the service for my dryer. The drum was not spinning. The tech came on time, he assessed the situation and determined that the reason for it was simple. The belt was broken. Then he told me that he was going to put the input on the system so I could get the estimate for the job from puls. The estimate was $364. Wayyyy over price from my standpoint. My dryer costs brand new $450. But of course you gotta pay $89 for the visit. I showed it to the tech and his face said all. He was very professional but I did not make sense to pay for $364 for a new belt when I can buy a new belt and everything else for $450. read more

Don't use this company, they will provide a terrible service, then try to scam you out of the money you paid them for that terrible service. I paid close to $500 for a refrigerator repair, only for the fridge to stop working less than 12 hours later. There was a 90-day warranty on their service. I then requested a refund and was told a tech would come out to pick up the replacement part in order to issue the refund. After waiting 2 hours the tech never showed. I called and was told he wasn't coming anymore because I was going to be buying a new fridge and they would issue the refund. I called 5 different times over the next 2 1/2 weeks to attempt to get my refund. The first 4 attempts were useless as they kept pushing me off saying they were investigating. Even after speaking with a supervisor, I was told they would look into it and get back to me. They never did. Finally on the 5th attempt and after being on hold for 30 minutes I was told they would refund me, but not the full amount, they would be deducting $89 for their technician "diagnosing" the issue. I explained they did no such thing; they actually misdiagnosed the problem. The supervisor told me that if I paid for a separate company to prove it was misdiagnosed they would refund the $89. They said this knowing I no longer had the fridge and that it would cost more than $89 for another company to do that. Even after explaining if their tech had showed up there would be no dispute, they still refused the full refund. We will see if I even get the refund minus the $89, I was told I would, but time will tell. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. Puls is one of the biggest scams I have ever come across. I became a member about a year ago. I paid for their high level membership ($59.99) per month. My recent experience with them over my dryer repair is unbelievable. I had a technician show up about two weeks ago and claimed that the problem for my dryer was due to the vent not being cleaned, he charged me money to "clean" inside the dryer ($161) on top over the service call fee. I had my dryer vent cleaned and the problem still persisted. The same technician showed up last week and "repaired" the dryer and left. The dryer did not work again. I tried to call puls because their policy is if they cant fix it, they will replace the appliance. I had a supervisor play phone tag with me and the message he left was that "based on the the team's review, you will need to pay more money for repairs". That sounds like complete BS. It is a good way to frustrate and make customers leave. I canceled my membership just today. Our dishwasher broke and the repair service came out the next day. The man who was here seemed to know absolutely nothing about dishwasher repair. He pulled out the dishwasher and looked around, then said that he put in a part to repair a leak, but it did not seem like it. After an hour and a half, the charge was $340. Nothing was fixed or changed. A week later, (still no working dishwasher), we were told that they were looking for a new part which would cost another $150, plus service charge. I needed to get the lock kit replaced on my washer, so I tried setting up an appointment online with Puls for two days later. I got a call from them while I was at work and couldn't answer, so they left a voicemail saying that the cost for the service would be different than on the site. They said to give the num a call back and they'd get me more pricing information. So I tried calling the number back after I was off of work and the next day but no one answered. after that, I called the main service number and got a rep named Julie who said she would reach out to the service team and check if they were available. She only left me on hold for 5 seconds and was back and said the other team wasn't available but she'd let them know to call me back. And even though I told her my name 3 different times and spelled it out, she kept saying it wrong. Terrible service. But 6 hours after I got off of the call with her, I still had not received a call and it was an hour from their closing time. So I called the main service number again but I got the same rep again. This time I asked if she could just transfer me to the Service Team because I needed to know the service fee amount bef the technician came the next day. The lady literally hung up in my face when I asked that. I canceled the service appointment immediately. At this point it's giving scam. We were charged the service fee with Puls and paid that by credit card. Jose told us he was only able to accept cash for his services. The husband followed up, then they showed up the next day, tech said "the board is broken and need to order parts" and the tech even asked for partial payment. Bad. Our electric dryer wasn't drying. We figured it was the heating element. Decided to try Puls. Male tech ws clean-cut but spoke zero English, and arrived with a female interpreter who spoke broken English. He looked at the machine, diagnosed a dead heating sensor, and left. Afterwards my wife pushed a button to see if the machine would spin (which it had even when not heating) and it sparked and smoked! The tech came back, and had no explanation. He quoted an inflated price for fixing the heating element and sensor, though he recommended replacing the machine. We paid the service call fee of $89, but aren't sure of the diagnosis.
