It's a very good restaurant located within Edelweiss Lodge and Resort. It's currently offering a cafeteria-style food service (all-you-can-eat) due to COVID health protection measures. Pre-COVID days they normally had buffet lines for at least breakfast and lunch. Service is excellent. You are treated with great customer service here. Folks who work here have such great attitude and exude care. It's very pleasant to be treated by caring people. Food is very good. Price maybe a little high relative to what you receive (I had to remind myself that it's all-you-can-eat), but it reflects where it's located (a very nice resort town in the German Alps). Added long-awaited feature is you can enjoy sit-down meals at a restaurant which I had not done since I arrived in Germany last November. It really gave me an appreciation for a simple pleasure of dining in experience that I've been missing so much. We ate most of our meals here as we stayed at the Lodge for three nights for a conference. We had nothing but pleasant experience. read more

My wife and I were here as part of a marriage retreat and bout provided meals were at Pullmans. The food exceeded our expectations my leaps and bounds. We had the opportunity to have all three meals and each was delicious, with just a couple of small exceptions. One morning the eggs were a touch over done as well as the bacon. Great to have a Steak. Not exactly what I expected. Meals were very hearty but presentation was off. My wife had a Cobb Salad. It was huge. I had a ribeye that was a bit over cooked for me. My mother had a small Filet with garlic mashed potatoes. She commented that she could not taste the garlic. The service rounded out the experience. Our waitress was excellent. Over all a three. My family attended the Easter brunch buffet here and it was pretty good. There was a good variety of food that good quality, the presentation was nice and the service was excellent. I would recommend the Easter brunch to others. read more

Happy to have a place where American style steaks are served while vacationing in Garmisch/Germany. However, this last time it appeared to us that cooking and serving staff are not properly trained. Steaks are hit or miss, service staff forgets about orders and has to be reminded sometimes. We think management of the Edelweiss Resort could do a better job, making sure the experience at Pullman Place is first class. May be more people would frequent it for dinner then. read more

Good quantity of food but taste was not up to par with the price. The prime rib was grilled after it was cut, thus giving it a burnt taste. Also very bland. The chefs were not communicating at all. I had the New York Strip - medium rare. Very tender and cooked just right. Based on previous reviews my expectations were not that high. BUT, I was impressed with both the level of service and the quality of the steak. read more

Enjoyed a nice dinner with the family. A little too bright for a dinner atmosphere but good service and tasty entrees.

We had a reservation and was seated exactly at that time. Service and food was excellent! We had a wonderful relaxing dining experience. Staff was attentive, the food presentation was very appealing and delicious. My medium steak was cooked to perfection. It's the best place to eat in the entire resort. Wish they had more dessert options but other than that we enjoyed our time there. read more

The Sunday brunch was varied and the customer service was good. The smoked salmon was excellent.

The selection for Sunday brunch was very good to include some seafood, fresh carved beef, an omelette station, breakfast and lunch options, salad fixings, desserts, mimosas! I was so glad we got to indulge in this treat that had disappeared from the hotel. Will do it again if we are here when they have it. Our sere, Peter, was very attentive. read more

Service isn't that great, very slow, food was okay. Had the rib-eye, nothing to brag about. When finished with meal, had to wait like 10-15mins for the waitress to clear table which we had to flag her down because she was no where around. Had to ask for a desert menu and more water and another drink. It the nicest place around that has a American feeling so kind of stuck with a lack of options when looking for a steak, not a good steak, just steak. I rate my steaks off of Mastros and Mortons, But knowing some of the close minded people of the military they have no idea what I'm talking about. read more
