We spent 5 nights in this hotel. The first 2 nights were part of a tour package in a classic room (which included drawer space, a bidet and a pant press wirh somewhat dated decor). We had upgraded to a superior room for our last 3 independent nights (which had no drawer space, no bidet, no pant press, but had upgraded finishes in the room and bathroom). Consistently, we had issues with the hotel plumbing with the toilets running and running in each of our rooms. When we complained, they were quick to try to help, but sadly, this was unacceptable to us. The included Internet access was a HUGE plus for this hotel and access was quick and consistent. After 3 weeks in Europe we recognized what a huge plus this was. The included breakfast was good, the room decor (both classes we experienced) were good. It just seemed strange that an upgrade in room class equated to less storage space. The view was identical although obviously higher in the upgraded room. Overall this hotel is a solid yet basic hotel, close to transportation, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Staff were friendly and attentive, however, flushing toilets are a bit of a deal breaker for us My advice.,,,,,book a hotel closer to the right bank. read more

This hotel is VERY nice, the location is VERY convenient, and the service is VERY slow. You would think for such a great location and view, they could find some people to work a little faster (or in some cases, to work at all). Check-in with one person in front of you in line could take 20 minutes. We loved the room size and the feel of the hotel We loved the location--being right next to the subway station and walking distance to MANY great eating places in the area!!! The front staff seemed more interested in looking important than making the guests feel important, and that's never a good thing. Nice Hotel which is perfectly located in Paris. Easy travel from and to the airport - use the offered Bus schedule for about 17 Euro - Taxi will cost you about 60-75 Euro and is neither better nor faster. If you book online and in advance prices are acceptable - just booking in at the hotel is not recommended. Skip the breakfast at the hotel - expensive and not worth it and go having a breakfast in some of the nice cafe's which you will find close by. read more

Stayed here for 7 days. It's a pretty nice hotel. About a 20-30 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. The lobby is big, with a bar and seating for you to hang out or wait for people. There is also a restaurant, but we didn't try it. The rooms are standard size. We requested a nonsmoking room, got a nonsmoking room, but we could still smell slight smoke. It wasn't bad because it didn't bother us really, but something to mention. There is wifi in the hotel, but you have to log in every 24 hours with any random email address. There is a small gym on a certain level of the hotel with towels, snacks, coffee. We were sightseeing so much everyday that I didn't have time to do any exercise. Being my first time in Paris, I had a three nights stay here. Located in the center of Paris, the location is very convenient. Bus & metro lines are within a block or so. Multiple restaurants are also nearby as well as a grocery store where one can pick up essentials. Being one of the tallest building in the area, a nice view of night time Paris could be had if you get one of the upper floors. The luxurious lobby is complimented by an open business center complete with multiple large touch screen monitors and a laser printer. The breakfast buffet is served at their restaurant (Just'In) on the second level. The selection is outstanding and accommodates to the various international preferences. Imaging having Miso soup available for breakfast with your Latte! The concierge service was very helpful with tips to local dinning. Free WiFi is also available but the signal is too weak to be useful unless you are close to the hallways. The bathroom is surprisingly large for European standards. One must be physically fit however to use the bath/shower as it has a rather high step-in. Overall a perfectly situated place to stay for tourists and for business travelers if price is not a consideration. But keep in mind that the location, service and the convenience of this place can be "priceless" !!! read more

Our first time in Europe and we are super excited to check in to the hotel. We were greeted up at the front desk by a . . .snooty looking French blonde girl. She then told us that we cannot check in until 3pm. That is not surprising and I fully understand it. However, she said that she can have us check in for an extra 50 Euros. I thought about it but wanted to see what we can do while we wait for 3 hours. I went to the lobby lounge and did some searching. I then went back to the line to go ahead and pay for the early check in. I got a different girl and she proceeded to tell me that there are no rooms available. I then asked if I can just pay extra to get in. THEN the first girl came by and whispered in this girl's ear. New girl then says that I should have known about the check in time and that she can't help us in anyway. The first girl walked away with a smirk on her face as if she tought me a lesson. fine. We checked in later and got the room. Fairly nice room with decent amenities. I must disagree with the others that this is a convenient location however. This is not close to ANYTHING. You have to take the metro to get anywhere touristy. Sure, it's next to the train/metro station but I would recommend getting something closer to the Eiffel Tower if you are a first timer. I guarantee that you will spend a large chunk of your time walking miles in the subway system to get to where you want to go. Basically, it's like visiting New York City for the first time but getting a hotel in Jersey City NJ. It's not horrible, but not quite ideal for people visiting for the first time. read more

Bad hotel experience... besides the food, nothing is good about this place. The hotel rooms feel old, peeling paint, stained carpets, broken toilets, and impractical half-glass walled showers that leak water into the entire bathroom. The staff is curt and rarely helpful. No one greets you when you arrive. There are no automated doors or staff to even open the door for you- when you arrive be prepared to drag your suitcases through heavy doors all on your own. Hotel toiletries are adequate, but hey it's France; they can't really mess that up can they? Incompetent check in requires that you renew your room key every single day otherwise it just stops working even if you're staying multiple nights. Food is incredibly overpriced also. Will never stay in a Pulmon hotel ever again. read more

I had a great time at this hotel. It is so beautiful, on the inside and outside. The view from your room is stunning! The breakfast buffet was worth adding to our daily rate. Great location, with multiple shops, restaurants, and metro stations within walking distance. It is located in a very lively part of Paris and I loved staying here. The room had some stains and the bathroom had an off putting smell but I was able to get past it because everything else about the hotel was wonderful! read more

Very well situated and Modern hotel in the middle of Paris. It is a real business hotel with a very good concierge and services. The rooms are small but very well done and if you re lucky you will have a beautiful view of Paris. Ask for a high Floor. It is also a pretty expensive hotel, and I believe the breakfast is not at the level of the hotel. Cannot order omlet or eggs beside the cheesy scrambled eggs given. Didnt like it at all. We stayed here two nights in late October after an Ama Waterways cruise from Paris to Normandy. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the toilet and shower worked well. We had a time trying to figure out now to keep the lights on until we discovered the room key card went in a slot on the wall. We also were slow on learning that the hotel used the TV to tell guests about services: there was no book in the room like we are used to seeing. The use of a room key card to use the elevator was also new to us and provided some laughs until we figured it out. The front desk people were helpful to us. The bar was nice though a bit expensive for us. The location of the hotel is a tad far for waking to tourist sights but it is close to the Metro and trains. There are several good cafes and restaurants near the hotel. read more

Location is okay. It's a while away from the top monuments. I was okay with that since there is a local shopping mall and shopping streets. Plenty of restaurants near by (walking distance). My wife and I stayed at this hotel for four nights. We were visiting Paris as part of our honeymoon. Once we arrived to check-in, the receptionist was very helpful and gave us the option to check-in early is we upgraded our room, (which was only an extra £12 per night). Our room was clean and cozy. One reason for only giving it a rating of 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the TV options. There were only about 9 channels available in English and half of them were news channels. Now I understand that the point of spending time in Paris is to explore the city, however with the jet lag, I had trouble sleeping and it would've been nice to be able to watch a movie or something more entertaining than CNN. I asked the front desk if they offered a service to rent movies from our room and they were confused about what I was asking for. When we upgraded our room, the receptionist mentioned that having an expresso machine in our room was one of the perks. I used it once in the morning and it started leaking from the bottom so I just never used it again. Aside from those inconveniences, the hotel was very clean and well-maintained. Oh, there were also lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. read more

I hate this hotel. I say here for work and have spend dozens of nights here. The location is ok but it's the nosiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The walls/floors/ceilings are paper thin and from 8am-4pm it sounds like you are in a construction zone as the housekeeping does the bed making. The beds are designed on a life system and as the maids lift the beds up and down it creates very loud noises which echo throughout the entire hotel. Prices are also ridiculous. $6.75 Euro for a tiny cup of coffee and $15 Euro for a pint of beer. You will be miserable if you stay here as you will be awoken early each morning and there is no peace and quiet to be had. read more

This was the nicest and most comfortable hotel we stayed at in Europe during our 2.5 week trip, and we stayed at a total of 7 hotels which were all highly ranked. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. From what I remember, their pillows were memory foam ones. This was a big contrast to the other beds we had in Europe which were pretty firm. The staff was very nice and helpful. Their gym which was on the 22nd floor which was great. It had snacks, water, coffee and a nice view of the Montparnasse Cemetery which you may or may not be interested in seeing. The hotel is pretty close to the metro and train which makes it convenient to get around Paris. Their breakfast was okay. The only thing that I would've made our experience better was free Wifi in the rooms. read more

Hotel is beautiful and the rooms were very modern,however there are No drawers to put your clothes in. The hotel front desk staff is very helpful and friendly and it is in a very good location. The Wifi was free which was nice. My biggest and only complaint is if you like extra towels or soap you have to practically beg for it. I would recommend this hotel as a good choice and call ahead of time and request a room on a high floor, the views are spectacular. read more
