I WOULD RATE AS A 0 IF I COULD…read more The Dentist allowed me to make an appointment to discuss a possible referral to a orthodontist for my son to have preventative care for an under-bite that is causing pain and bleeding. Once in the office, the dentist approached me without introducing himself, and did not even look at my child in the chair. He cornered me in behind the chair and told me that I wanted a referral for braces. I advised braces were not at all what I was asking for, but a referral for the under-bite issue with his JAW. Which two other states had given him over the last few years. Unfortunately, he stated that he didn't meet the criteria, but that he would give me the "useless referral". When I inquired what criteria he did not meet he advised me he did not know the criteria, that he was not an orthodontist. But, that no braces could go on with baby teeth in. Again, I reminded him this was for his JAW (which causes bleeding and pain in my child's gums)not braces on crooked teeth. Without looking at my kid he said we were done and I could have the referral. I asked why this couldn't have been a phone conversation if he wasn't concerned to even look at my son. He got mad, and asked why I even came there. I advised I thought I was bringing my son the the dentist. Offended, he leaned into my face and said "I thought you were a mother". I then said I had enough of this display in front of my two children (one was clinging to me frightened the entire time). I stated I was going to leave and the man would not move from cornering me in. He continued to try and extend the conversation and I said again that I was requesting to leave. He did not move again. After a third time he finally let me leave and I took my kids and left the building and left the lot entirely. My ex husband stayed there and apparently the Dentist explained to him, casually and without issue, explaining the criteria. Which he had told me he did not know and then went into this aggressive verbal argument with me.

I was in…read morethere about a year ago for a tooth that the cavity fell out of and wanted a root canal to have a crown put on the tooth. He was all set to do the crown and upon further review he discovered that the tooth was split down through the root and the root canal would not be recommended because the tooth would have to be pulled anyway. So, good on him that he didn't just go ahead and perform the root canal anyway. I would use him again myself without any reservations.

I have known Pete over 20 years as a patient and a friend. Which is why it pains me so to write this review. I feel compelled to warn others regarding Pete Ceravolo and his declining ability. I have had at least four root canals with Pete and it is the experience regarding my last root canal which went horribly wrong. Pete is declining and must have early onset brain problems. He told me my visit would be completed in two visits (after the initial consult) and he "wrapped everything up in one" I asked him about the warning he gave me of the need for two visits and I even paid two visits worth of nitrous. The tooth was not sealed properly and when I returned to him in pain he told me to go see an oral surgeon. I asked him to show me where on the X-rays he said I had a problem and he could not even look at me while he proceeded to lie to my face. I used to hang out with Pete up on his 300 acre farm where he used to boast about his prowess in "Drilling, Filling and Billing!" I should have taken that as a warning sign and stopped using him. He is available at a moments notice which certainly does not speak much of the demand for his services. His office is always empty waiting for his next prey. The employee list on the wall is a decade old and the only thing Pete cares about is money. What a shame.

No bruise from the IV despite my squirrely veins, not too much pain, clear written post-op instructions, and extremely nice staff. I hope never to have to get a tooth pulled again but these guys were amazing and I'd choose them again.
