One location had a 2-2.5 hour wait and another had a 1hr or so wait. I called Battleground Tire first before coming by and was told they could squeeze me in, which was awesome. I was told it would be $25. Battleground Tire is located on the corner of pisgah church and battleground. There is a sign that says Nappa Auto center which definitely confused me. However, it does say Battleground Tire on the building itself. Inside, Anthony assisted me. He definitely had a sense of humor, which was nice. I had to give typically name, address, and car info to check in and get work done. They have complimentary WiFi which I didn't use. My car was done at 4:55pm, which so much better than the time I would've spent at discount tire. I learned that Anthony was the owner. He was extremely friendly and personable. Throughout my interactions from check in and check out, he initiated conversation. He mentioned wanted to get to know his customers, which is very admirable.

I got Techron complete fuel system cleaner. When it rang up, the price was $18.79 pre tax and $20.06 post tax. I was about to pay but then I stopped because that wasn't the price I saw, which was like $10. So I go look at the shelf and see that it's $10.79. I tell the cashier and she comes over. She points out that $10.79 was for the "smaller bottle". At a glance, they all look the same size! There were 7 bottles across 4 shelves. The top two shelves said $10.79 and the bottom said $16.59. At a glance, all of the bottles look the same size. There was ONE bottle that was smaller than the rest. To add to the confusion, the tag/label doesn't include the size.... To make matters worse, when I pointed out the difference in price ($16.59 vs $18.79), I was told the label wasn't even the right price and that it needed to be changed -__- Needless to say, paid the $20.06. While the staff person was polite and apologized, the store needs to be sure the right prices are labeled and things are in the correct spot to prevent confusions and issues as suck.

I am writing this review after exhausting every reasonable attempt to resolve this matter…read moreprivately. I purchased my vehicle from Flow Volkswagen and later brought it back to Flow for a paid diagnostic visit due to coolant loss, drivability issues, and a check engine light. I paid for that diagnostic, and was told nothing significant was found. Shortly afterward, my independent mechanic discovered multiple serious, pre-existing issues that were either missed during Flow's diagnostic or tied directly to Flow's pre-sale service work. These included: An improperly installed water pump, missing required hardware Multiple coolant leaks and compromised cooling system integrity Corrosion and failing components related to the cooling and PCV systems A rear main seal leak requiring transmission removal Severe carbon buildup and injector issues causing drivability problems These were not minor wear-and-tear issues. The improperly installed cooling system created a real risk of sudden coolant loss and catastrophic engine damage. My independent mechanic immediately identified problems that Flow failed to catch despite charging for a diagnostic. Most concerning, Flow later acknowledged in writing that a critical component related to the water pump had not been installed correctly and offered to supply the missing part--confirming that the vehicle had been sold to me in an unsafe condition. Because of the risk involved and the lack of timely resolution, I was forced to authorize immediate repairs through my primary mechanic to prevent further damage. Those repairs totaled several thousand dollars. While Flow eventually refunded the diagnostic fee, that does not begin to address the broader issue: the vehicle was sold with improperly installed components, significant defects were missed during a paid diagnostic, and I was left to absorb the cost and stress of correcting those failures. I attempted to resolve this through: Direct communication with dealership management Volkswagen of America Better Business Bureau mediation A formal complaint with the North Carolina Attorney General At no point was this handled proactively or transparently by the dealership. I am leaving this review to warn other buyers: do not assume pre-sale inspections or paid diagnostics at this dealership are thorough or reliable. If you purchase or service a vehicle here, have it independently inspected immediately. I wish I had.

I was told by Tesla that my 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance needed a battery pack replacement. Before committing to Tesla, I called this shop and spoke with someone I believe was named Max, who assured me they could do the job and had third-party battery options that would be cheaper than Tesla. Based on that information, I paid $400 out of pocket to tow my car from Raleigh to their shop. That's where the red flags started. * It took over two days just to get a diagnosis, and I had to repeatedly call for updates. * I was charged $243.13 for the diagnostic, despite the delays and lack of communication. * My advisor, Marissa, told me she was "looking for a battery," which alone took another full day. * When I finally received an estimate, I was shocked: $28,000 total, with $23,000 claimed just for the battery. For comparison, Tesla charges around $13,000 for the same battery replacement -- and I personally found a compatible battery online for $14,500, which still makes their quoted $23,000 battery price extremely inflated. When I asked for a detailed, itemized estimate (battery source, labor hours, cost breakdown), I never received one. They could never explain where the battery was coming from, how many labor hours were involved, or why the price was so high. I asked twice to speak with a manager. Messages were taken both times. No manager ever called or texted me back. Because no repair was done, I then had to pay another $500 to tow my car back to Raleigh, wasting $900 total in towing alone, plus the $243.13 diagnostic fee -- not counting time and stress.
