"Come on in! We have [exactly what you said you are looking for at exactly your price point]!" When you get there? It was always a bait and switch. The cars here at greenlight auto sales are filthy--often newly repossessed and still full of the sad belongings of the last person who attempted to purchase them--but they are priced as listed. There is no bait and switch. No credit check required-- half down and drive away today. Some people decry the traditional "buy here pay here" but they are needed by the community. This type of business is always a boon to people who could not otherwise buy a car. Demerit for fibbing about the KBB on the car I drove in, but it's not unusual for places like this to not want trade ins. I recommend always taking any used car to a trusted mechanic before purchase. My longtime (now dead) companion started off selling cars out of his parent's driveway. He always represented himself in court. "Your Honor... I'm a used car dealer!" was basically always his (usually successful) defense. Caveat Emptor-- yeah this is a real Four Star review. Ooh! The funny stuff! Low pressure goes to high annoyance after looking at a few cars. "Why should I!?? You have no money!" But the hilarious part was the way that the guy kept telling us how much his French Bulldogs (" like CELEBRITIES have") cost. LOL LOL For what this place is, it's really good. Before the sale, I was told there were no issues with the truck. Shortly after purchasing it, I began discovering serious mechanical and structural concerns. A mechanic later informed me the truck showed signs consistent with prior water/flood damage. I was also advised that certain repairs could not properly be completed because the cab bolts were severely rusted and seized. In addition, the oil dipstick/tube was missing. I fully understood I was purchasing a used vehicle, but the extent of these issues went far beyond normal wear and tear. What was most frustrating was the dealership's response after I attempted to address the situation. I made multiple attempts through phone calls, texts, and emails to resolve the matter directly. Many communications went unanswered, and during one phone call the owner became upset about complaints being filed and terminated the call. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership to have the vehicle thoroughly inspected by an independent mechanic before buying.
