The food was great and so was the service. I had the fajita quesadilla and it was really good. Highly recommend.

That's the difference between nice and kind. We joked at the table about taking her with us and just making her our waitress everywhere we went. The food was solid all around, and we love that they're doing seafood boils now!! Where has THAT option been all our lives! Definitely a step in the right direction especially for a place that's been around so long.

The cocktail and tarter are "out of a can" lacking in real flavor. The high point was the grilled Brussel sprouts with a teriyaki glaze. It required an additional $3 fee to sample this side dish, the steamed brocoli was just MEH-- like outta a steamer bag, microwaved from the grocery, no sauce, butter, or seasonings. I remember taking Mom to Red Lobster[her favorite] and it was "special"-- maybe 50 years of corporate steerage has made it just average. Could have had fish at Dennys, same food!! Half the price!!

My only other experience with Mongolian grill have been chain restaurants such as HuHot and Genghis Grill. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly/professional. There's a good selection of meat/seafood, vegetables, and tofu to build your bowl with. Then there's the signature Mongolian sauce along with ginger, sesame oil, lemon juice and so forth to season the bowl before handing off to be placed on the grill. The cooks take their time and I've never seen them cook more than two bowls at a time unlike the chain restaurants. The meal comes off the grill steaming hot and delicious. I've really enjoyed eating here.

The buffet had a nice selection of fresh veggies, meats, and noodles and a few options for sizes. We never saw the prices for the various sizes, but we went ahead and got the large bowl. After adding our desired sauces, two people were walking around the round grill, cooking our food and moving it around the grill. They had some kind of soup, maybe sweet and sour, which I didn't care for. You could also get white rice out of an electric rice maker, if you wanted it. The food was cooked appropriately, it was flavorful, the workers were all nice, everything looked clean and replenished regularly. If you wanted a sweet treat, besides a fortune cookie, they had a couple of little cake choices, Jello, mandarin oranges, and watermelon slices.
