We got a seat within 15 minutes. The place is nice and cosy and clean with a variety of seating. It's small but cosy Hubby and I both ordered blackthorn soda. We ordered fried okra as appetisers , then i ordered shrimp grit with a side of cornbread and he ordered chicken tenders with waffles. Food was hot and delicious. Everything was delicious. The serving size justified the price, in my opinion. There were so many other great souvenir treats available! But I moved on to the truffle case with all its gorgeous gourmet gems awaiting me! I selected four and was most excited for the Earl Grey one. It was decent but disappointing; I tasted very little tea inside, it was pretty much just a plain caramel filling to me. The other two are still awaiting me. The ladies behind the counter were helpful and friendly, and were patient with my indecision. I also got one of their house stickers for my collection and I was thrilled that it was so reasonably priced! Some places charge SO MUCH for stickers that are, essentially, advertisement for them. I wish I could return soon but I live far away and it will probably be a couple years before I'm back. But you can be sure I'll be making time for a longer trip here then!
