We are told by the staff "We have NO MORE $1.00 TACOS...WE ARE SOLD-OUT." I asked "How can you be SOLD-OUT? The SPECIAL has only been going on for 1 hour-30 minutes. Your business advertised $1.00 TACOS UNTIL 7:00 PM." Staff replied..."We've been very busy." I stated "Well OF COURSE, IT'S CINCO DE MAYO!" My family and I left. I immediately call Tacos Los Hermanos, probably within 5 minutes, and asked the staff member if $1.00 TACOS were available because it wasn't 7:00 pm. Some colorful vinyl booths line the wall on one side with tables and chairs in the rest of the restaurant. Upon seating, we were soon served chips and salsa. The salsa is mild and very simple. It does have small amounts of diced onions and cilantro. Definitely not a fan of the tortilla chips. They taste stale. Thick tortillas, but very hard to chew. I ordered a side order of a chicken enchilada and a chicken taco. I asked what sauces I had to choose from. She said red sauce or cheese. I said cheese. Find out when the bill comes that they charge you two dollars for the cheese. Pretty bad. I did order a draft beer. $3.25 for 12 ounces. It was cold and refreshing. My husband ordered the chicken burrito. It was a lot of food with the rice and beans. He liked it. My chicken was tough so I had to disagree with him. There were many fleas surrounding me and my table. I kept swatting them away. Then I found one in my water. I think they need to get this under control. Not a fan of this restaurant. When I saw the size of the burrito provided I was impressed, the only thing more magnificent than its size was the savory flavor you can only get when all of its contents were made to perfection. It is a small restaurant closely attached to a Hispanic market so I wouldn't go with a large group of people, but if you're looking for possibly the best Mexican food you've ever had you should definitely give it a try. The only draw back about the food is that it was so good I kept eating until everything I ordered was gone. I couldn't move for hours but I don't regret anything.
