    Enjoying dessert

The food was absolutely phenomenal, the service was great and the setting was perfect. We watched deal or no deal while eating and the restaurant was quiet.

I've ordered here several times during my business stays in Grand Island and I can tell you for sure that this is the most authentic, flavorful, delicious food you'll find in the city! Again, you're going to have to find a place to take this delicious food to, as the location is very small and there are only one or two tables to sit at, it's basically a food truck with a brick and motor building. It's delicious, the price is perfect, and the people are friendly. I guarantee if you're searching for a good place to eat in Grand Island, this is your place.

The menu had a pretty good selection. We got the sticky rice with chili sauce, drunken noodles with animal farm, the Lao wrap, and durian sticky rice. sticky rice with chili sauce - my favorite item. The sticky rice was warm and the sauce had both a little heat and some tang drunken noodles - sweeter side, good portions lao wrap - noodles were ok, some veggies provided with the wrap, very little shrimp, and way too much sauce on the side which isn't really a complaint but they're definitely losing money giving out that much sauce durian sticky rice - not that sweet, had to ask for more milk as sweetener. Had very little durian, was hoping for more than just a dash on top. Also it was in a cup, would've been much easier to eat if it was in a flat container. Overall good for the area and would come again

My only other experience with Mongolian grill have been chain restaurants such as HuHot and Genghis Grill. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly/professional. There's a good selection of meat/seafood, vegetables, and tofu to build your bowl with. Then there's the signature Mongolian sauce along with ginger, sesame oil, lemon juice and so forth to season the bowl before handing off to be placed on the grill. The cooks take their time and I've never seen them cook more than two bowls at a time unlike the chain restaurants. The meal comes off the grill steaming hot and delicious. I've really enjoyed eating here.

The buffet had a nice selection of fresh veggies, meats, and noodles and a few options for sizes. We never saw the prices for the various sizes, but we went ahead and got the large bowl. After adding our desired sauces, two people were walking around the round grill, cooking our food and moving it around the grill. They had some kind of soup, maybe sweet and sour, which I didn't care for. You could also get white rice out of an electric rice maker, if you wanted it. The food was cooked appropriately, it was flavorful, the workers were all nice, everything looked clean and replenished regularly. If you wanted a sweet treat, besides a fortune cookie, they had a couple of little cake choices, Jello, mandarin oranges, and watermelon slices.
