I was informed by Eileen that this would not be possible as beaver does not offer any refunds/adjustments after April 1st. I understand that this policy would be reasonable for enrollment but just wanted to request a partial refund for the extended day program which she stated would be impossible. All the other camps that my daughter is signed up for this summer offered a refund to cancel their extended day options. Beaver has a very strict policy and my daughter and son will not sign up for future summer camps at beaver. There are plenty of other great summer camps in the area that are much more flexible and understanding.

I went for the tote, with a long handle to wear as a cross-body bag. We certainly got a bit buzzed with the sipping part, but she was so patient with us. I hope to go back and learn more about sewing, what a fun new skill to learn! One location note, we thought it was at the Hipstitch place on Spencer Street, but found out the class was at the retail store at 1280 Washington St. Which is very close, like less than a minute from Spencer St. Our fault for not reading the email thoroughly, made us really late. Only response was 10 minutes after booking a course asking to apply the new customer 10% credit only to be told "no we can't do that. We will apply it to you next class". Refusal to respond at all to any other communication. Same company that will tell you you can't get a credit if you don't cancel with enough leeway. Hypocritical and terrible customer service. Will never book a class again.

We have been with them from the beginning. The inside of the school is clean, inviting, and is in a super convenient location. We can't say enough about the Staff and the Teachers. They are all so warm and loving. They honored all of my nervous "new Mom" requests, especially in the early days when I was so cautious about leaving my first child. The curriculum was age appropriate for each stage our children were in and prepared them well to start elementary school. The school was truly a blessing for us. When the ups and downs of life got crazy, the Goddard School was the one consistent and dependable factor. We are incredibly grateful for the love and support over the years as well as the lifelong friendships we developed with other parents, teachers, and faculty.

He barely survived bullying atmosphere of owner's children in the class room and biased treatment of owners. This school has a policy to put a 4 year child in a small wooden box or cube called "safety cube" in order to calm him/ her down. How terrifying? My son was traumatized by this experience. I wish no child to go through this. We experienced unprofessional behaviors from the school owners when I dis-enrolled my son from the school. My son in his new school is happy and SAFE, and that is all what matters to me. Please spread the words and reach out to me if you are considering Weston-Goddard school.

It has two large connected play structures, a swing set, see-saw, a sand box, tons of toys and bikes that have been generously donated for a chance at a second life. The place gets crazy busy though. The after work crowd on a weekday is enough to incite a panic attack - especially for a newbie playground mom like myself, and quite frankly, I'm petrified of even trying to go on a weekend. That's not to say there isn't room for everyone, though. With the plethora of benches and tables, there really is room for everyone. D There are tons of abandoned (okay: "donated") toys left around - for the sand box and for kids to ride on, play in, etc. which adds to the play options. I love the access from here to the pond; it makes taking a walk around the pond before or after the playground a nice option. Not to mention all the shops and restaurants right on Center Street as well. There is easily accessible parking behind the playground - it is the public parking lot in JP behind Blanchards. It is 2 hours only, but that is usually more than enough time to get in and out of the playground. It's nice to not have to troll around for a parking spot.

Overall, the structure of the camp is great. However, they frequently make last minute changes, do…read morenot communicate them, and then get frustrated when you are not following these changes. I worked here for 4 summers out of convenience, and it was one of the most hostile environments I have never been in. If you went to Camp Sewataro growing up, great, they will welcome you with open arms and you will fit in. If you did not, you will be isolated, shut out by fellow employees, and not be able to participate in events that the camp runs but chooses strictly campers-turned-employees for. If you are a college graduate, teacher, childcare professional, etc, you will still be getting supervised by an unqualified college kid, just because they grew up at camp. Pay is also terrible. I was making $11 an hour while having a Master's degree in education. There are hundreds of other camps in the area, don't work here.
