From 3 in the afternoon until 9 at night i finally got in touch with the pharmacy and was told it was just then coming out. They forget without customers there isn't a job and people have options, i.e. there are other locations and other pharmacies like CVS which is not even a mile away. I've decided today to switch my prescriptions over to CVS, I'm tired of dealing with rude snippy disrespectful clerks, who pick and choose who they are going to be polite to. They said they were unaware of the situation and denied me any compensation. How are they conducting health department and Dept of Agriculture inspection requirements and not know? Truth is they couldn't be and not be aware of the split, broken and sharp metal from damage, as well as filth. This is a classic example how a large regional grocery chain doesn't take responsibility for situations like these. If they don't know that numerous sharp pieces of metal are sticking out in ways that can injure people when they peruse vegetables, how exactly are they handling their produce? It sickens me that these stores are managed like this. There are too many sporas etc. now this kind of stuff. Found the shelving was also filthy. Some of these stores follow rules designed to protect us. Harris Teeter? "We didn't know there was a problem." I still have a scar center forearm. Looks horrible. Wish I could post pics of the conditions there and on my arm. Didn't find this at Publix, Lowe's Foods, Lidles, Aldi, Lowe's Foods or Whole Foods. The only thing that I would say needs improvement is the stock levels. There are times, too many to count, that I have been sent to find something and it's not avail or they don't carry it at all. I'm not sure if it is a local ordering issue, or more of an organizational wide thing (as far as how they deal with demographics and sales). However, I am a faithful CVS Pharmacy patron, and therefore expect every CVS to be the same standard and quality as the next (regarding staff, cleanliness, stock, quality, and value). I have an 11 day old and needed to get to the pharmacy on our way home from the doctor, before my husband goes to work. I was there at 8:55am and surprised to find the pharmacy wasn't open yet, and nothing-was-a-stirrin'. I asked the young man at the counter when they opened and he said, "in a minute, 9". Seems late for a pharmacy to me but whatever. I'm browsing around and feel like I've been waiting for a while and look at my phone and see it's 9:04. I start to walk up front and see an employee getting out of the car, wait a minute to see if she is pharmacy no, not pharmacy. I go up front and ask the young man if the pharmacist is in the store. The young man replies, "It's only 1 minute after right now..." First of all, I know what it's like working retail, you have to set up a register and drawer and check messages and put stuff that's out where it goes, etc. and no one is back there starting any of that. Second of all, I'm well aware of the time and it's AFTER (1 minute or 4!) the time he was supposed to be open and ready for business. Then the lady makes her way in the store, they exchange some dialogue about the pharmacist and his tendency to being late, she looks at me like I'm a moron for wanting to use a pharmacy at 9 am on a weekday and says, "he'll have a lot of messages when he gets here, it's gonna take a while anyway."
