They said they could phone in the prescriptions to WellPack instead of getting it filled at the vet. The cost was much more reasonable, about $58, plus they packaged it nicely and even added a dog toy. Also they asked me what flavor he wanted the medication, and I thought that was a very nice touch for my dog. Another thoughtful touch was a custom note for my dog Finn saying sweet things and mentioning the dog toy as a secret apparatus to help him feel better. He loves it, and I love them for doing so! The staff are helpful, the place is very clean, and I am impressed. The only downside was their policy to prepay, but I can understand why. It was also a little difficult to access on a busy day on Capital Circle NE, so I would suggest visiting during an off-peak time. Finally, let me conclude by saying that I was already impressed before I read the owners' story, and after reading it, I want to support this business even more!

I really like this neighborhood pharmacy! They make it easy to place orders and they both call and…read moresend a text when your prescription is ready for pickup. The pharmacist is really personable and knowledgeable and made sure he was able to get a specific prescription I needed that a pharmacy had to be certified in order to get. The people at the counter are also great and make sure your information is always correct and any savings cards are entered before having you go through the check out process. Everyone also makes sure you know everything and anything you want or need about the drug you are taking before you leave. I love how friendly and personable everyone at the pharmacy is and I am more than happy to take a short walk or a quick stop in to keep this business alive.

Dollar Tree had packing tape, Walgreens had one measly box, and yet I still needed bubble wrap. Well, as it turns out this CVS was close to both and not only had bubble wrap, but there were bubble wrap size options, plus boxes and packing tape. I really wish I'd have gone there first. It'd have saved me having to run around town.

Their photo department is excellent. If you're dissatisfied with pictures they will happily reprint but I find it's usually unnecessary. They've cut pharmacy hours but keep hours extensive enough for reasonable availability not to mention there's a 24 hour location nearby. Their makeup department offers assistance worthy of note, I've saved a lot of money switching to quality drugstore brands (yes, there is such a thing!) because they always seem to have a talented makeup person available that can help choose foundation colors, eyeliners etc. Love having a neighborhood pharmacy!

The cashiers in the regular part of the store are very friendly and pretty helpful. The pharmacy aspect of this store however, completely sucks. As previous reviews have stated, the pharmacy service at the Lake Ella location is incredibly SLOW. It is like there is NO hustle, or any interest in establishing an order or pace. For one, there is no place to form an actual queue or line. This results in the customers all being very unsure as to who is waiting for what and who is next in line. I have firsthand witnessed customers getting into arguments and bickering about who was waiting longer and who was there for what purpose. That is flat out RIDICULOUS. And to have such discord result while picking up or dropping off prescriptions is 100% CVS' fault. PERIOD. However, the main reason for me deciding to write this review is due to this CVS Pharmacy manager's decision to close the pharmacy portion of the store EARLY. I arrived around 5:58 p.m. on a Saturday. First, I had NO clue that the pharmacy closes at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The CVS marquee indicates that they are open until Midnight but apparently that is just the store itself, which is quite misleading if you ask me. Either way, when I arrived into the pharmacy area (prior to 6 p.m.), the entire prescription drop-off gate was down. That was when it suddenly dawned on me that there was a chance that this place was about to be closed. I was immediately grateful to have arrived while they were still serving customers. There was one customer being helped, and about 3 workers behind the counter. I was the only person waiting. The female manager who was helping an elderly customer, paused and asked her employee to see what I needed - if I was "picking something up". I indicated that I was indeed picking up one prescription, to which the manager interjected that it was too late and that I would have to come back tomorrow. I politely advised her that I really needed the medication to take first thing in the morning and that it was actually a FREE prescription (how long could that possibly take?). Regardless, at any other CVS, there would be no questions asked - so long as someone was waiting for service and arrived before closing time - they would be helped. Instead, the manager argued with me about the ability to pick up my prescription because it was after 6:00 p.m., and told me that my only other option was to contact a different CVS (located about 8 miles away), and have them fill it for me to pick-up that night. I rolled my eyes and ultimately left the store. This store is ALWAYS busy, and clearly I can see why. Of course you will always be busy when you limit your hours by arbitrarily deciding to close early and are routinely turning customers away. CVS Corporate needs to hear about this but I'm hopeful that they'll peruse these reviews on their own, as I've already expended enough of my energy.

The store is clinically clean and the employees are friendly. The owner greeted us and made suggestions on what to get. For me he suggested a green tea matcha smoothie sweetened with honey. This beverage had the right combination of icee like coolness and lightly sweetened taste to cut the bitter flavor unsweetened tea brings sometimes. My daughter got a cone with chocolate ice cream and my son tried his first float (butterbeer). In addition to our treats, I was able to pick from an array of probiotics I was in need of with suggestions from the owner to assist me with my choice. This store takes most insurance, but will take all by next month. Reward points are collected for purchases as well.
