Walgreens consequently was next on my list to get a box and bubble wrap. This Walgreens, much like Dollar Tree, looked ransacked as they were out of a lot of items. The pharmacist is really personable and knowledgeable and made sure he was able to get a specific prescription I needed that a pharmacy had to be certified in order to get. The people at the counter are also great and make sure your information is always correct and any savings cards are entered before having you go through the check out process. Everyone also makes sure you know everything and anything you want or need about the drug you are taking before you leave. I love how friendly and personable everyone at the pharmacy is and I am more than happy to take a short walk or a quick stop in to keep this business alive.

Staff are friendly/helpful, and there's a decent selection of just about everything including frozen pizza, oat milk, local microbrews, holiday sweets, supplements, OTCs, and personal care products. They also have the usual selection of nicotine products. The store is clean and quiet (including the bathrooms). The only service they offer that I recommend avoiding is the FedEx hold service. I've had a number of issues with this, including them giving my package to someone else. Walgreens has an app that lets you pay and earn rewards through it. They just scan your screen at the register. It also allows you to order through the app and pick up at the store or have your stuff delivered. If you're into couponing, shopping via the app will show you coupon codes you can apply at checkout.

Back in the day, Boston Butt, I believe, was consider at the bottom of the barrel, it was cheaper than other cuts of pork because it was scraps of meat and fat but it sure was tasty and tender.. I went to one Publix, couldn't find a Boston butt or anything called Boston butt. So I went to the another Publix, the one on Capitol Circle East in Tallahassee. I found three packages called Bost Butt. Boston Butts are usually distinquished by the fact it is tied together by string. So I looked at each of the packages and choose the medium sized one. It had a lot of fat and meat interspersed, usually a good sign in determining if you have an actual Boston Butt. After wrapping it in the usual tin foil , well seasoned, I smoked it for several hours. Sadly, no, angrily, I discovered that Publix's definition of a Boston Butt has slipped badly. Or maybe it was the butcher packaging the meat. Or maybe, worse, and what I actually suspect, Publix has decided to milk every dang penny out of all meat and fat they have. The so-called Boston Butt was a mix of god knows what scraps of pork they had lying around. Some of the meat was the type of tender fatty meat you'd expect in a Boston butt. But a lot of the meat was dark, light, apparently coming from other pieces of pork they sell. After all the meat was cooked, I had to cut it with a sharp knife like it was a picnic roast or something. This being about the third time Ive gotten scrap pork meat tied together and not resembling a decent Boston butt in texture and quality, I will no longer buy pork from Publix. I quit buying steaks from Publix years ago and about the only meat I buy anymore is ground chuck for burgers. Sadly, Im going to hit the local meat market in the future or Winn Dixie and Piggly Wiggly. Publix corporate offices can eat their junk product called Boston Butt.

This is my first time using this compounding pharmacy, and it will not be my last. I needed a…read morerefill for a medication for my dog and when the specialty vet quoted $95, I told them I was concerned about how expensive all the meds had been. They said they could phone in the prescriptions to WellPack instead of getting it filled at the vet. The cost was much more reasonable, about $58, plus they packaged it nicely and even added a dog toy. Also they asked me what flavor he wanted the medication, and I thought that was a very nice touch for my dog. Another thoughtful touch was a custom note for my dog Finn saying sweet things and mentioning the dog toy as a secret apparatus to help him feel better. He loves it, and I love them for doing so! The staff are helpful, the place is very clean, and I am impressed. The only downside was their policy to prepay, but I can understand why. It was also a little difficult to access on a busy day on Capital Circle NE, so I would suggest visiting during an off-peak time. Finally, let me conclude by saying that I was already impressed before I read the owners' story, and after reading it, I want to support this business even more!

Signed up for Walmart+ and the free shipping and Paramount+ are just icing on the cake. What I can't get from this store can usually be found available for shipping (free) that usually arrives in 3 days or less. Using the app to shop is so easy and they keep improving the app. Shopping with the app also cuts down on my impulse buying as well. The curbside pickup process is a well oiled machine these days. Check in on the app when you park in the curbside pickup area and they will be out pretty quick and load everything in your vehicle. Friendly service with a smile is the norm.
