Staff are friendly/helpful, and there's a decent selection of just about everything including frozen pizza, oat milk, local microbrews, holiday sweets, supplements, OTCs, and personal care products. They also have the usual selection of nicotine products. The store is clean and quiet (including the bathrooms). The only service they offer that I recommend avoiding is the FedEx hold service. I've had a number of issues with this, including them giving my package to someone else. Walgreens has an app that lets you pay and earn rewards through it. They just scan your screen at the register. It also allows you to order through the app and pick up at the store or have your stuff delivered. If you're into couponing, shopping via the app will show you coupon codes you can apply at checkout.

Their photo department is excellent. If you're dissatisfied with pictures they will happily reprint but I find it's usually unnecessary. They've cut pharmacy hours but keep hours extensive enough for reasonable availability not to mention there's a 24 hour location nearby. Their makeup department offers assistance worthy of note, I've saved a lot of money switching to quality drugstore brands (yes, there is such a thing!) because they always seem to have a talented makeup person available that can help choose foundation colors, eyeliners etc. Love having a neighborhood pharmacy!

Today July 10, 2026, I made the mistake of buying a product from this Publix bakery that had a 'buy…read moreby date' of July 11. I had seen a beautiful sweet bread product on a tray in the center of the bakery that apparently had just been taken out of the oven. It was a cinnamon bread circle with what appeared to be some kind of syrup drizzled over it. I asked if I could get THAT one but was told there were some of that product behind me on a product table and that it had cream cheese on top of it. I thought that was an acceptable improvement over a plain cinnamon bread product. So I turned around and looked for it and found it. Another baker person, a younger lady, walked up to me and suggested that I put it in the oven at 350, maybe 450, and let it sit for about 5 minutes and it would be delicious. So I bought it. After heating it and cutting into it, I realized quickly the bread was beginning to stale... the outer edges JUST DRY.' As much as I love cinnamon bread, this was barely edible...just the center. The rest was no good. So it was a draw between them succeeding to sell a stale product and NOT selling me the product I actually wanted. Laziness? Publix sales goals? Either way, Im swearing off Publix bakery.

Dollar Tree had packing tape, Walgreens had one measly box, and yet I still needed bubble wrap. Well, as it turns out this CVS was close to both and not only had bubble wrap, but there were bubble wrap size options, plus boxes and packing tape. I really wish I'd have gone there first. It'd have saved me having to run around town.

Most recently I was notified by Walgreens that I had a prescription to pick up. The issue? It was to be picked up at my old Walgreens in Pembroke Pines. I had to call to get it transferred. Fortunately for me, getting a hold at this location in Tallahassee was simple. I had my prescription filled within half an hour and I was able to pick it up after work. Very pleased to not have to wait forever to pick up medication. A bit annoyed that the pharmacy has limited hours. I believe they close at 9 PM on weekdays, and coming from South Florida, I'm still not used to everything closing so early.
