Clean store just as any other Publix out there, however, we came from out of town, specifically for the pub subs. We ordered them in advance through the online portal, 35 minutes later we show up and they haven't even begun working on them yet. When I asked about how long it would be before they're done because at that point it was 20 minutes PAST the "pickup at" time and we wanted to see how much time we would have to run through the store and get the other things we needed and I was met with a very rude and sassy attitude from one of the ladies working the sub/deli counter. This experience with her attitude to a customer who ordered something 40+ minutes ago that wasn't even being worked on is more than enough for me to literally go out of my way to go to a further away Publix to avoid EVER coming back to this location and having to deal with that woman. She was an older African American woman with braids twisted into a bun on the top of her head. I wish I had gotten her name because I have NEVER experienced such rude behavior from anyone at a Publix before especially considering we are actually associated with the Publix company. This is my go to deli in the entire city of Franklin. In the past few months of all the times I've been here the amount of times I am waited on by a younger gentleman, is few. I got JP today and it's night and day difference having a younger person in the deli vs an older more experienced person. The two younger guys are super accommodating, and helpful and kind and service with a smile. It is literally night and day difference of an experience for me when I have the pleasure of being waited in by a younger person in the deli. I have service dog and the service dog tag, management didnt come up to me once but twice to ask and then wanted to know what my service dog was for. my medical information is none of there business!! my dog was not in a cart but was told multiple times it couldn't be in the cart. which I understand however you allow babies with poopy pants on and snot running out of there noses in the carts but a service dog in a bag can't be. Publix will continue to loss business because they can't treat there customers with respect. also I was in the deli and a worker was so worried about flirting with another worker that he walk into my cart and had the nerve to say excuse you. I think Publix's has more to worry about then service dogs! Focus on better customer service and showing paying customera respect without crossing the line. read more

There is only one kind of shopping I truly enjoy....grocery shopping. Don't know if it's the bright colors and wonderful arrays of produce and other goods normally available, or whether it's something more deeply rooted in my childhood and memories of my Grandma's Country Store. Perhaps it's something that runs counter to that - like my living in the jungle for a year many years ago and having no store whatsoever! Regardless, until recently my original review of Publix at 2020 Fieldstone Parkway was an honest reflection of the joy of shopping here. Alas, no more! After the last 3 visits and a concurrent drop in customer service quality, my joy has turned to disappointment. (Note: I shop at least once a week and often buy other families and for an outreach program.) Yes, the produce remains the same - a good selection that is fairly consistent and fresh. Same too, the seafood. And the meat department still holds its standards high. But, overall, while the staff remains congenial, they seems a bit more harried (or hassled as we used to say.) There appear to be fewer lines open when there is a crush (Friday nights-like today and on many Sunday afternoons.) Some items no longer stocked and the store policy is supposedly they'll order an item for you. A few months ago I asked about a particular flour (Southern Biscuit) I had been buying regularly. It wasn't on the shelves anymore; something else had taken its place. So, they said they'd special order it for me. Weeks later - no flour and no call from the store. Never did get it and never got a good answer from CS. Recently I checked and they now have little bags of it on the shelf - but where is my special order? "No record of you ever ordering it," was the response. The credit card readers now seem to be malfunctioning on an more frequent basis. And the clerks at check out are either overworked or just too frazzled to do a consistent job. (I always bring my own reusable bags and twice in the past 2 weeks the cashier (2 different ones) asked if I wanted paper or plastic. Huh? And....after paying (3 frustrating attempts with the card reader before they could get it to work) I began to push my full cart towards the door. The cashier called out, "Is this yours?" as she held up an item that was still on the conveyor. "Oh, yes, thanks," I said. She countered with, "Well, you didn't pay for it." And I replied....Well, it appears you didn't ring it up!" And she hadn't. Her tone and attitude was just not what is normally found at Publix. If indeed, there is a new management person here, they need to step up the level of customer service we have been accustomed to before more stars fall from the Publix ratings. read more

I was at a convention so we picked up some prepared food for lunch. We picked up some salad combinations that had some chicken as well as a salad. I would return to Publix because I like their selection. They have a whole section dedicated to prepared food. read more

DO NOT ORDER catering/deli trays from this location! Per the stores 24 hr. advanced order requirement I placed an online order for 4 trays of food for an event the following day. I received a confirmation and pre-paid for the food. The next morning at 8:30 I called to let the deli know that rather than picking up my order at 10:15, my confirmed pick up time, I would instead arrive at 11:00-11:15. I spoke to a person working within the deli, they asked the name on my order, and said that was fine. When my husband and brother-in-law arrived to pick up the order at 11:15 they were informed that they were unaware of the entire order! Mind you, I spoke to someone within the department at 8:30 am that morning!! So, I get it, things can go wrong with online ordering, although it shouldn't with a company as large as Publix, but in this case a second act of incompetence happened with the person answering the phone failing to follow up that morning. Had that person done their job they could've saved the day. What a novel concept.... doing your job! While my husband said the manager was apologetic and the deli said they could possibly throw things together in an hour, (as if I want someone that knows I am unhappy with them preparing food that my family will consume. Plus, they would make my family an hour + late for a venue that we paid for) this stores 2 time incompetence wrecked the start to our day. The bottom line.....Do Not Trust This Store With Any Special Occasion Catering/Deli Orders!!!! Additionally, as my husband was dealing with the situation another customer told him that they too experienced unfulfilled deli order/catering headaches. I've been shopping at this Publix for 9 years. Who knows how much money we spend here. But it's always a pleasure. When I read the unfavorable reviews for this Publix on yelp, all I can think is that the writers must be miserable people, because the Publix team is always helpful, always friendly, always courteous, always. If I need help finding something they walk me to it. If it's missing they look in the back. If I forgot my wallet they hold my groceries until I go home and get it. Maybe I can get cheaper prices at Walmart or Kroger, but then I'd give up the neighborhood community store experience I get at this Publix. Which, is the same great experience I've gotten at just about every Publix I've ever been to. read more

I drive past two other grocery stores to go to Publix. I understand the company and know the quality of products and the customer service.

While shopping at the Fieldstone Farms Publix, I became ill. The cashier recognized my distress, helped me get seated in the deli area and with my permission, had nearby EMT's come to asess my condition. Another Publix associate lady secured my groceries in a cooler - because I was "worried about my frozen food" and the store manager came to check on me. On their advice, a friend came to take me home and unload my groceries. I am as O.K. health-wise as I am usually. Thank you sincerely to Publix for their kindness and help in a stressful situation. i love this publix so much. so clean and organized. they have a great selection and great produce section (ps- sorry that i dropped a watermelon!!). great friendly people on the floor! the only complaint i have is the service at the deli. went earlier with my bf and the man at the deli was pretty rude. my bf and i are vegan and vegan we asked for their tofu sub (can't remember what it's called). man asked "wow you actually like that stuff?" we laughed it off but it was kind of off putting. turns out they were out of tofu (probably because, you know, people like it) but that's ok! just didn't appreciate that the guy said "i have plenty of meatballs though! i can make you a meatball sub." he knew we were vegan too. such a rude thing to say to people. my bf was not rude at all, he is the sweetest person ever. good publix, just won't go back to the deli again. read more

Since we now live less than a mile from this Publix, we shop here quite a bit. There are so many things I like about this place: The Deli: great selection of meats & cheeses. And they offer the first slice as a sample....nice. I've gotten a sandwich here as well and it was really good. I'm also a fan of their "submarine dressing"....gotta try it. The Bakery: the freshly baked breads are great, and they will actually break open any package for you. For instance, if they have a bag of 4 hoagies, but you only want 2, they'll do it for you. Love it! The Customer Service: there's always someone there when you need assistance, and they are always so darn nice. I was checking out yesterday, and I notice my organic portobellos rang up a dollar more than they should. I asked if they could correct the price, and they actually took it off my bill! I don't know if that is standard practice but that was awesome. So yeah, I will be back here again and again! read more

I have had it, with these people. My sister started working at the publix in my area. She has told me some not so nice things about the way people treat her. She has only been working there for a little while, and she started to have allergies to the cleaning supplies. She is a highschool student and is being held until 11:00 to 12:30. She left early this one time because my parents also have to sleep, (she does not have a license) they have to pick her up. Because of these times she had to leave (very valid reasons might I add) they keep treating her like crap. But what pisses me off the most is that, publix prides themselves on great service, and it is bad when the dont care about there employees. My sister is trying to be a tattoo artist so she has alot of piercing, they hired her on the spot not saying her piercings were a problem. two weeks later the tell her "take that shit out of your ears." She new that it was not professional but they were so desperate for new people they hired her, and decided they did not like her and started to discriminate against her. She comes home crying so many times she gets upset before she heads over. Apparently they do not respect LGBTQ+ people either, she said only a few people call her by her pronouns. What really breaks my heart is that I know she is one of the most hard working souls, ( we worked together for another business before she wanted to work closer to home) and always tried her best. You dont have to listen or agree with me, but I do not support this place anymore, I used to go to publix more than 2 times a week, now I dont want to go there at all, Kroger it is for me. I have had my fair share of disappointments in there staff, ( touching me without my permission) they can mess with me all the want but if they mess with her i am not buying it. She does not want to quit even though my family wants her to. Waited in line behind one person in the deli. When the customer was finished the worker just walked off. A few mins later one of the six employees standing around said someone would be with me in a min. A few minutes later the same employee said someone will be right with me again. A couple minutes later I just walked off. For a company that prides themselves on customer service that was pretty pathetic. I will never be back to Publix. I can get better service at Kroger and Kroger is way cheaper. read more

We arrived at Publix at 2PM and they only had one box of 8 pieces of chicken. We needed two 8 piece boxes or a 12 piece box. We were told that they were cooking large order and it would be 20 minutes before our chicken could be ready. So, we waited and in 25 minutes it was ready. Took it home (only 5 minutes away) and eat it at 3PM. It was hard and dry and very salty. So, did we get fresh chicken or recooked chicken? I have ordered chicken in the past at another Publix and it has always tasted fresh and juicy. This was the worst fried chicken everyone at the table of 8 had every eaten! read more

Always clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The produce is always fresh. Publix always has the best meat and they don't use that "pink slime" stuff. The deli has excellent salads and sandwiches. The bathroom is always clean, which is a plus for someone with little kids. read more

I gave two stars because I am disappointed in their choice of one of the Managers. I am used to getting great service from Publix and feeling good when I am there and when I leave. I believe Publix is known for being very friendly and accommodating to their customers, however, a Manager there that they call, "MO" (I believe her real name is Dawn Moser) is often not friendly and she has done a couple things that were simply wrong just because she can, I suppose. I don't like to be waited on by her. She can be very evasive and artificial acting and she does NOT have the warm friendly accommodating personality that I see in the other employees. Publix really made a HUGE error in making her part of their team. I have asked a couple employees about her and both did NOT have positive things to say, so I am quite sure that I am not the only one that feels this way. I am quite confident others are turned off by her. I had a bad experience at this Publix tonight. I got a rain check for an item and she refused to give my Mother a raincheck for the item. My Mother went in to the store after I told her about it and this Manager said she has seen her in the store with me before and that we were the same household members and would not give her a raincheck. My Mom finally showed another employee her out of State license and someone else of authority gave her the raincheck. What I was really upset about is that my Mother is very old and her health is frail. She came to me stressed and sad when the first Manager, Dawn Moser wouldn't give her a raincheck. From what my Mother told me, she also did not like the way Ms. Moser made her feel. I believe Ms. Moser goes past the appropriate guidelines and I think she acts like a "bully." I will from now on refuse to be waited on by her. I don't even like going there, knowing she is there. I have been going to this Publix for many, many years, since I live very close to it and this is the only year I have had issues. I hope Management realizes that Ms. Moser's personality does not fit the profile that is otherwise represented by Publix. Talking with her won't change it either. As it has been said, a zebra doesn't change it's stripes. Ms. Moser makes a horrible impression on Publix and someone with her personality should NOT be working there! read more
