I've been coming here for years. And today your employee, Mary, made me feel so insignificant. I need to return something and the way she handled it really hurt my feelings. Everyone here is so kind and I absolutely love shopping here. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but I've also been through a lot lately and being treated so dismissively cut pretty deep today in light of what I've lost in the last month. Outstanding order ahead/catering service! Used them for a party and everyone loved the food! The prosciutto skewers, dips and cheese platter were a hit! Cuban Mojo Sliders were all gone and regular sandwich slider assortment was great! They have deviled eggs and they were okay. Little Bundt cakes were delicious and the mini fruit tarts all disappeared. Food was delicious and you can't beat the price. This location is always clean and has a great selection in stock. I love the veggie sub sandwiches on wheat. For a while they were really challenged putting lettuce and spinach on it... What happened to this store ??? For many yrs I shop at this store even tho prices are higher than other stores for 2 reasons - the store is very clean & staff was helpful EXCEPT for deli ( we've always pretty much been completely ignored like we are invisible , thus we don't bother buying at deli ) ... lately something is off ... asked for help at desk they collector phone to show me items in stock but didn't seem to actually show me item I was looking for .. after 15 mins checking where they told me to look I went back for help and same lady said 'well I don't know - it's there ' she didn't ask any of the 4 employees standing around talking maybe show me nor did she say she would help so I gave up ... happened again 3 days later with another item - are they locked in a customer service ? Should they tell customers they can't come out ? I ran into a couple employees thru out the store and usually they say hello or ask if you need help - dead silence ! It's like it's not friendly store any longer! And honestly why is it ok for yrs for deli to not even acknowledge a customer standing there like ' hey we will be with you shortly ' would at least let me know they saw me ! Meat dept -no one there for 20 mins waiting - 3 days later ' no don't have that ' for something they didn't want to cut ! I'm beginning to hate this store ... I moved to Franklin from Maryland a few months ago specifically for the reason I'm writing this review. The service and friendly people at this store are world class. I've literally told my friends and family about several awesome customer service tales already. From the checkout where they actually scan your groceries, happily , for you to having someone bag them and then actually ask if they can bring them to the car for you?!! Wow! What a breath of fresh air! Yesterday , I was looking over steaks and the butcher came over and asked me if I was finding everything ok. First of all , does that ever happen anywhere?? Again , wow! I asked about Ribeye cuts and she immediately steered me to a section of them on special. I asked if they were fresh and she told me she had just cut them today. Sold! Took home and grilled same night. The steak was so good I even ate some of the fat. Talk about world class customer service! Kudos to mgmt here. You obviously are coaching and managing at a 5 star level. A well oiled machine and example of how customer service goes a long way to gain a customer for life. Keep it going! read more

The parking here was plentiful. This store, like the other Publix I went to, is very clean, organized, and pleasant to be in. The employees were also helpful and kind. I felt like the produce quality was better here. Maybe it just wasn't as picked over as the other Publix. They also had a wider variety of ice cream options compared to the other location. Prices still high of course but I left happy, with produce and ice cream! read more

THE SUSHI AT THIS PUBLIX IS AMAZING. Nothing less than 10/10 stars. I am from Hawaii and the TN sushi normally sucks. Even that fancy restaurant in Nashville that is overpriced and started with a V. I SWEAR the sushi at this specific publix is the best sushi you can find in Middle TN. The guy that works here is super nice and will custom make rolls for you as well. All that is within me wants to 5 star this particular store location....you see, I've always had such a great experience with all the staff. They always ask if I need help finding something and seem quite attentive to customer needs. Today I horrifyingly made a big juice mess on aisle 4! So sorry y'all. They were so very gracious as I apologized 107 times! 5 star right?! However, I must be true to the star power I allot each business I encounter. Now, this is a HUGE thing for me....let me tell you of my experience. My items still cluttered the counter while the bagger gal and I feverishly tried bagging my remaining items (unorganized might I add). The previously kind teller lady practically spun on her heels after handing me my receipt and proceeded to ring up the next guy. All his items then began to clutter the counter while my items were wishing they were bagged and released. Ok maybe that's a stretch. I'm a creative. My reusable bags were then thrown on top and I was urged with a stressful grin to exit the building. Today I heard (through body language and actions) "faster", "hurry", "move", "the guy behind you is more important", "get outta here". This is NOT the first time and is NOT the only franchise that works this way. I think it s a culture thing, really! My husband says it's a simply productivity issue. Serve more people, less lines, less tellers, fatter bottom line! Well I call BS!!! Chick-fil-A always makes every single customer feel seen, heard and respected. PLUS...they serve crazy number of people at their most vulnerable:: when they're HUNGRY!! I would like this to get to some ceo type person with lots of power and a heart for people to develop a NEW and improved training model. How about TOP KNOTCH customer service from parking to load up! Shopping here truly is a pleasure. The staff is always very friendly and go out of their way to help you find exactly what you need. And the store is always perfectly pristine. Glad we have the convenience of this store and there isn't really a thing to improve except more sales items to be slightly more competitive with other grocery stores. read more

This is my regular Publix, and I pretty much visit every week. Consistently good service and selection. I realize that I may sometimes pay a little more, but the small things like a clean store, properly working shopping carts, and employees that speak English and speak to me enthusiastically make the drudgery of grocery shopping just a little more bearable. I will say that we do not typically buy meat here... hubby is quite picky. We raise our own beef that is thus in our freezer, and for chicken we buy the large ice glazed bags at Sam's Club. I will buy frozen seafood filets here, but for pork chops and other special dinner party type meats, I head over to Butcher Block or Whole Foods. read more

Who knew I would lives grocery store so much! I've been to a few publix grocery stores before but this one is by far the best one! They have an awesome deli section that has a wide selection of everything! I love that they have 10+ different types of hummus! What grocery store gives you that much variety? Exactly no other LOL! This is our regular publix and we LOVE IT!!! The people here are fantastic! Some of the helpers will even open your door for you! So so great! My kids love it and ask to come shopping with me. Of course, they get a free cookie from the bakery so I'm sure that helps too. =) I will always choose Publix for their customer service!!! read more

Publix is such a great grocery store chain. Their produce selection is solid. The fish is pretty decent for being so far from the ocean. They've got a decent selection of organic foods. The double coupons up to 50 cents. The true crowing jewel is their employees. They are helpful and polite. They still help you to your car. They smile and seem to enjoy their job. Since it's across town, it's not my weekly grocery store, but for the right sale items, I'll happily make the drive. read more

After years of shopping at Kroger, this became our goto grocery store when we relocated to this part of Franklin. Have been totally impressed with this store in the 3 years we have lived here. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The meat, fish and bakery staff go above and beyond and are really helpful in recommendations. Since we moved here, the larger Kroger opened up nearby but does not come anywhere close to the quality of food and helpful staff we get at Publix. read more

Best custom er service around for a grocery store. This location also has a gas station which is surprising, but since its so close to my work i have the abilty to get gas, a drink and lunch while on my lunch break. Theirs limited seating inside to eat if you wanted which is also a perk for when i dont want to go back to my work on lunch. read more

I'm really amazed at the grocery stores surrounding Franklin. All of my favorites including Whole Foods, Harris Teeter (in nearby Brentwood), Publix and Kroger. Publix is usually my grocery store of choice for quality and proximity. I have to give a huge shout out to Selena, the florist at Publix. I had 2 daughters getting married this summer. The first wedding was in May and we were extremely pleased with Selena's knowledge, vision and her willingness to do whatever was necessary to make her part in wedding number 1 beautiful. We then had wedding number 2 in early August...which we used Selena again. She absolutely blew it out of the water! Selena went above and beyond and made the most beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements. I can't say enough positive about our experience with Selena. read more

Love Publix!! But I dearly would hate that it changes... I can say most times I shop here, which is nearly every other day, most of the people working there keep me coming back... but I and my spouse have had two different occasions in the last month that made me think, oh no are they changing... are they going to be like Kroger on Murfreesboro????? ( I have had no help even when I went to the customer service at Kroger, not friendly). The first incident my husband asked an employee of Publix to check if they had anymore Pedialyte grape flavor before having to go to a separate store to buy this and the employee told him she was on brake and walked off (wow, sick Special needs child needed this and your employee replied, I am on brake???!!! ). Think how you would feel.. Well how about getting someone else to help. He left there with no one checking for him... I go to check out and I have one sandwich for lunch , on my lunch brake, and walked right up to the register ( I remind you I am on my brake), and there was a lady checking out by the customer service a client.. the client said oh Sorry this lane is closed after me (the client) .. there was no sign saying this lane closed .. then I had to go stand in line with people checking out weeks of groceries... could she not have said something, the employee, like I can take you with just one item and maybe even suggest moving around to customer service to check out my one item... Please Publix , please do change , I have always bragged in other employees there that went over my expectations.. but two I one month makes me wonder if they have changed management??!! read more
