I have always enjoyed shopping at Aldis and found their cashiers helpful and courteous. On Dec 13th, woman named Alicia was working the cash register and shouting in an angry tone 'ONE PERSON ONLY WITH SMALL ORDER". There was one additional register open and the line was long. I have never experienced anyone so aggressive and rude working in Aldi's--reminded me of Nazi soup kitchen. Alicia needs to be reminded to treat customers with respect or find another job. read more

ALDI is a dream - great prices, easy shopping experience with spacious aisles and well organized items, good service and quality produce! My only reason for not making this my sole place to shop is limited things I need to get elsewhere and location not being closer to my home. read more

They almost always have what I need. Cashiers are super quick & helpful. Produce is fresh & the store is laid out fairly similar to the others, making my shopping trips quick. read more

The lady with the weird hair threw all my food into a box in the cart so aggressively & gave me no time to pack my stuff up. Very bad customer service. I'll be staying away from her next time I come in. Can't rush customers out of the store because you have a long line. People can wait, but throwing my groceries & rushing me to leave is unacceptable read more

Always a mess , line forever , boxes on skids blocking aisles ... and no one around - sick of this location but when a person walks in at 10 minutes til 8 to grab something the manager suddenly appears and gets irate read more

I'm able to find a lot of products, I can't find at my local grocery. They have items from Europe, your not able to get from your local Kroger or Publix. Chicken Apple sausage, Chicken schnitzel, even once Muesli during German week! They usually have imported products as their "here today, gone tomorrow" special but I like the different flow of imported products. Gives me the opportunity to try a variety of items each shopping trip. And it's Aldi, so I use empty boxes as grocery bags and then recycle those bags once home Glad a company does so much to eliminate environmental waste. read more

Background: Aldi is the largest privately owned grocer in the world! They are German owned and very utilitarian in nature. Surprisingly most of their farm produce is by US farms! Aldi is not like a typical American grocery store. If you go to Aldi expecting fancy displays lots if name brands and catchy marketing, you will be disappointed!! Benefit: The benefit is their prices can NOT be beat! Their everyday low prices typically beat Publix and Kroger BOGO deals. We have been loyal Aldi shoppers for 5 years now. Why? The food quality is great and prices are unbelievable! No risk to try!: Because most of what they carry are in house brands, they give a double back guarantee on all food. You don't like it? Return for full refund and get a full new product. No questions! Trade offs/ quirks: - you need a quarter to use a cart. The quarter is refunded when you return it (this saves them from having to staff someone to bring carts back and keep prices low) - they don't stock as many products as a typical store. Many people have their Aldi list and their other store list. We find 95% of what we buy here. Go to costco for the rest. - they tend to be minimally staffed. So you might wait an extra couple minutes to check out. - no bags provided. This keeps costs low. Besides who doesn't have a gazillon of the reusable bags sitting around? If you get stuck, you can buy a bag or grab a box for free like at Costco. - produce can be hit or miss but 95% a hit! And for literally 1/2 the price of comparable alternatives! I was really skeptical of shopping at Aldi where I was told I would have to pay for my bags and cart. ACTUALLY, you don't pay a quarter for the cart. It's a mechanical system that pushes out the holding pin so that you can release the cart. You get it back when you put the cart back. Bags - bring your own. You know you have a million Kroger bags under your kitchen sink! My budget going in according to my list was $100 and I was able to stick to it and get even more only because I shopped here! Also it's a little known fact that Aldi keeps everything suuuper natural with little ingredients. Side note: There was a woman in the store who complained that I had my (very well behaved) service dog with me, and the staff handled it very professionally and explained that it was my right to have my dog in the store since she was not causing trouble. I always want to exercise my liberty to have a dog in the store with extreme expediency so as not to offend or annoy anyone, but seriously - educate yourselves on the law and don't hate. I liked this place, my husband didn't. We'd never been to Aldi's before. It reminded me of Save a Lot in the 90s; generic or unusual brands, low prices, etc. My husband has never been to a Save a Lot, so he didn't get the nostalgia. And he was somewhat appalled by having to box up our groceries, haha. Whatever, I'll be back without him. They had great prices on some things while other things were a miss. Prepare to waste your time driving to and from Aldi to find out if they actually have the items they misleadingly advertise they do. The weekly special(s) are not in stock. This apparently is fairly routine. Per the manager on duty (Wednesday 9:05 am), the store hasn't even ordered (been billed for) it, so don't expect it to ever show up. I forced the employees to call the Smyrna store, they don't have it either. This problem would seem simple to solve right? Just call them and find out what's in stock? Uh, nope, per store employees this morning, no Aldi's store has a published phone number for customers to call. After looking at the huge number of complaints on the web, the most telling are that Aldi's complaint process is so convoluted no one ever complains directly to corporate, much less if you do you apparently have to send Aldi your BANK INFORMATION with the complaint (so, hey, anyone can read it!). Aldi's customer service says, "The customer is our first and second priority." Aldi's motto is really, "The customer is our LAST priority." PS: Also prices at this store are sometimes 400% higher than the Murfreesboro Aldi and 100% higher than the Smyrna store (same item in all three stores). Today was the first time I ever felt the staff was inept !! Having just left the store 2:25 pm Sunday Oct * 2017. My casher's name was Loveny. I caught her mistake of over charging for two items and rather than make her do what ever had to be done on the register to straighten it out I said ok I'll just go get another dozen eggs and two cans of Vienna sausage. low and behold when I got home and compared my receipt to the groceries in my bags I was short another dozen eggs and 2 more cans of Vienna's lol... This girl was just flying thru the groceries so fast even she couldn't tell what was ringing up . What was the frustrating part of it all is I am on oxygen and have a portable bottle that weighs heavy after twenty feet much less double the length of the store. My wife and I are repeat customers and shop at this store a few times a week and will continue to do so. but I will be watching my receipt a lot more closely and telling any cashier who serves me to SLOW DOWN.
