Today I could not find my hand mixer - a smaller size mixer without a stand for those use to seeing the huge mixers on You Tube. This is a necessity for me. Lighter, easy to clean hand mixer is wonderful gadget. So I called customer service. Abigail answered and had some one walk back to see if they had any in stock. A short time of jazzy musak and she was back. They had three. One is currently waiting for hubby to pick up at the service desk. Publix always seems to conveniently have what I need or in some cases go out their way to help. This is especially true of their pharmacy too. Love this neighborhood store! read more

checked the Publix Sale Flyer this week and the had Boston Market Dinners, being Retired and Disabled it is a great deal so we went to Cliff Farms first and bought 20, nothing said about us buying them, on the way home we stopped at County Line and got the same amount but when we got up to the self checkout, there was a 3 old women there that was Employees that started to Harass us saying we could not buy that many, I asked where it was in print about 8 per customer and they could not show me, I brought this to that store Management attention but of course it was swept under the rug and I never got an answer only Manager double talk, Changes need made at that store from Management down Stores don't harass customers read more

Good grief, I've been to this store thousands of times and never dropped any stars here! It's a great Publix with friendly faces and all the goodness you expect from a Publix. One of my former coworkers from our department store retail work days works here and is always a joy to see - she has a lovely smile! The only challenge with this location is access/exiting which is easily remedied by entering/exiting at the adjacent neighborhood with traffic signal on the north side of this shopping center. I've purchased from just about all the departments here except the pharmacy. Restrooms are up front by the bakery section and are always clean. This is a conveniently located Publix close to my church, and lots of delicious eateries such as Cork and Crust. Thanks Publix! read more

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

Without a doubt the worst customer service at this pharmacy that you could possibly give. Pharmacy representative he led for my prescription with pharmacist and boss then came back and said it would be 2 hours because of checking insurance. Walgreens B's was able to check my insurance in 40 seconds electronically are they that much better or do they just care when you need a prescription after a emergency surgery on way home. Told me I could use there lounge waiting room which is 3 chairs wow they go all out. Just remember a happy customer tell 3-4 people a unhappy angry one tells everyone. I just wanted to give a shout out to Carlos from the Meat Department at our store located at 12070 County Line Road Ste C, Madison, AL 35756. Carlos was super helpful today when I asked that he trim down a few cuts of meat that I purchased. I explained to him that my request was based on a health condition that prevents me from eating fatty foods. He was more than willing to help even though there were other actions he was working one. His performance was very noteworthy and appreciated by me and my family that grew up on Publix, having lived in Miami, Florida for most of our lives. This is a very large Publix that is maintained very well. The aisles are well organized and the staff is friendly. When I'm in a hurry I can ask any worker in the store where something is and they can tell me. Sometimes I ask just to see if I can stump them. Once I asked for a very rare item (that I knew they had) and the guy I asked stopped what he was doing to help me find it. I really appreciate that kind of customer service. I also enjoy digging through their expansive wine section and the large selection of beers. read more

Prior to moving to Alabama I'd never heard of Publix, but I have to say they are a pretty good grocery store and they carry a nice variety of products. Their hot food counter always seems to be busy and after purchasing some of their chicken tenders I see why! The staff is usually pretty friendly and always offers to carry out your groceries to your car. All in all you won't find everything you need here but the spread is decent, and service good. read more

This store prides itself on Customer service, cleanliness and product quality. I have never been disappointed in the selection, and the staff had gone above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The pharmacy staff and the bakery team are professionals in every sense of the word, and their delivery is superb. On the way home, swing by the display booth and taste a sample or pick up a recipe card - excellent meals for a great value. You can find better prices (on some products), but the personal touch is spot on. I walk through the store and pick up on the general appreciation that employees have when the come in to work. Grab a half pie, sushi or special "mark down" products... All are great deals. read more

DO U WANT TO GO TO THE PUB? Don't go to a Pub to meet girls or guys, go to Publix!!!! Don't go to a Pub to pay for expensive drink and eat, go to Publix!!!! Publix has a very friendly staff willing to help you find anything in the store. The store is still pretty darn new. It open what I believe is late 2008, so it's newer than some of the other publix stores that took over previous grocery stores businesses such as Albertsons, or Krogers. This building was also a Publix so nothing in the store is that old, so there isnt much fear of the store not being maintained well. Let me break it down for u: First off: Pharmacy. U can get ur prescription refill there and willing to do it online. Flu and other Immunizations are done there, too. Too bad, they couldn't help me with the cooties I got from my GF. LOL. They have a Diabetes Management System, Direct Care, Free Medications (cough cough not free), Health Screening, FlavorX, etc. etc. Publix has a floral department, (too bad, there barely anybody to help u with that) Produce is very clean at this store location since everything isn't that old. Aprons are like food tasting- the food they cook differ each day, I think it's changes every three days. So ur welcome to get free samples of well cook food. JULIA CHILD EAT UR HEART OUT!! I think to like the Chicken Fingers in the deli. By the way, if u go to the Deli: always ask for BOAR HEAD, the other cuts are not that good. Head up on that. Depending on the store: you likely to have a few events sent up such as March of Dimes day, United Way fund-raiser, X-Mas or Thanksgiving events, even Halloween events that makes shopping six times cooler. Publix offers magazines in the front of the store near check outs, and if you happen to have children, you're likely to get a coloring book for your child when ur done shopping, (sometimes they run out of crayons, who knows, kids are eating them or something.) The Presto! Point of Sale (POS) keypad located at every Publix checkout register allows you to make purchases with your debit, credit, Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cash or EBT Food Stamps card. Other than that- it's mostly the same as my last review of the place. So somebody stressing u out- just say- I'M GOING TO THE PUB LOL. read more

We love this Publix. Everyone is helpful and nice. It's like they enjoy being at work. Kinda weird. The store is clean and organized and the selection is great. I just love this Publix. I get fresh flowers from Adam and am so glad I have them close to my home. They seem more like your friends than people who work there. Gourmet foods, they even have White castle Burgers in the frozen section and those Sugar-Free Creamsicles and Popsicles. I love this place! And those food samples, yep! Cool! read more

"Where shopping is a pleasure" is a load of crap at this location. I used to enjoy having a publix so conveniently located near my home, but I'd rather go out of my way to Kroger or Walmart than deal with the employees here. Y'all are unnecessarily rude and disrespectful, and make shopping uncomfortable. And somehow, seems like trying to pay and get my bags is a huge hassle for y'all. Can't wait for the new Kroger to open up and take more of your business. read more

I could have rated the store 5 stars from past experiences, because normally I deal with very polite, helpful and professional individuals but today I had a bad experience. I had gone in for only one item but when walking back through the store I saw that my favorite beer (a 12 pack) was marked $8.99! That is normally what I would pay for a 6 pack! Great deal! I even took a photo to show the cashier where I had pulled it from and the price marked. When I got up to pay the cashier, Shane told me he could guarantee the beer would be more than that. I find that very rude since it was obviously the stores mistake. He did not offer to double check, fix the mistake or even apologize. I decided to get something else and the man who bagged my groceries did not offer to carry it out for me. He was in a blue shirt, I don't know if that helps show his higher status but any other employee in the green shirts that have bagged my groceries before have offered to help me out to my car. Publix should be proud of the everyday staff that have always offered such flawless service and might need to remind the higher status employees to follow the customer service habits of the rest of the store!
