I have watched for a while to see when this Asian Market would be opening. It is nice to have this…read morespecialty store in south Huntsville. Entering the store on the right side at the front were several varieties of rices. I looked to the left and the cold section was the distance of the length of the store and stocked with several varieties of noodles, tofu's, vegetables, fresh fish, fresh shrimp and much more. There was NO SMELL from the seafood. I walked around the store admiring all the clean floors and shelves which is expected from a new business. The young man at the cash register was friendly and helpful. He didn't hover and I appreciated that. I purchased several items and was pleased with my grocery haul. If you live on the south side of Huntsville, this store is convenient and stocks all the major foods and condiments Asians consume. Please stop by and check them out.

I previously have gone to this location to get Indian groceries. It's become convenient to go here and not have to drive to Huntsville. Desi Brothers has a very good selection of rare vegetables on a Tuesday. That's a pleasant surprise: many Indian places I've seen around the country have low stock at times. Many such places have very narrow aisles you have to squeeze through. :-) This place has always had comfortably wide aisles. The previous ownership had a Facebook link. That's fine, but it's a walled garden. These owners are on the open internet, available to all. It's all shown on their grocery bags fully printing their logo and info. The bags are higher quality than Target, it's like they're investing in their customers so they can reuse the bags and always have the info needed to call back or go to their web site. Check my six included pictures for more descriptions. Recommend you give this place a try. They're starting out the right way for customers. THat's what I respect about small businesses that do the little things better. Definitely I suggest you reuse the grocery bags. They're useful and higher quality plastic!

I've accompanied my sweet Mom-in-Law when she last visited us while I took her on a tour of RSA. I've also accompanied my best friend, who's husband is retired military. I anticipated deep discounts since, hey, these folks have sacrificed a *lot* to serve our country and deserve a cost break when it comes to groceries and sundry stuff! Anyway, I did not see deep discounts. Don't get me wrong, the prices are fair, and it is tax free, so there's that little break. As I recall, they had a fair selection of international items to accommodate the needs of those on RSA who PCS'd (did I get that correctly??) in from other countries. It seems like they have unique "rules" about tipping those who help you to your car with your items, but don't quote me. The Exchange next door has higher end items such as cosmetics and upscale bags. Again, it's smallish, too. I've been to the one at Wright-Patterson and enjoyed it's variety/selection more. In the outer area of the complex that contains the Commissary, which doesn't require special credentials, is a small food court and a small salon where I've gotten some of the best mani/pedis from the sweetest little couple you would ever meet for dirt cheap. There are a variety of small shops including (it's been a while, ya'll) a barbershop, a dry cleaners, and I believe, a florist. Various vendors have tables with a variety of items for sale and they had a BBQ food truck on the south end of the parking lot last time I was in the area.

I picked up some amazing candies, chocolates, and sweets but don't skip the teas and interesting other items--highly recommended muscle soaks, hand cream, etc. Next time I'll spring for the meats and cheeses. Service is delightful, helpful, and I found the prices more than reasonable (and price checked them against online stores--they beat prices on practically every other online place). LOVE it.
