Sometime around 15 years (or more) ago, we were visiting FL and a lady in the visitor's center on Pigeons Key told us the BEST key lime pie was at Publix. Of course,!we had to have one and it was incredible. Since then, every time we talk about FL, we reminisce about Publix and their key lime pie. I have been to your deli several times this past week was blessed to have the same person NEIL make me a custom sub and he had went above and above to satisfy my dietary needs when I asked for low sodium turkey he said, "HOW ABOUT NO SODIUM TURKEY?" ... i SAID"I DIDN'T KNOW SUCH A THING EXISTED" But sure enough it did.... He brought the entire unopen Boars Head No Sodium down to me with a taste and the sub was great\unreal and i had the pleasure to have NEIL make me subs several more times.... He is the best, Very Friendly and, often makes great suggestions for me sandwich. I look for NEIL before ordering anything from the deli. I'm literally here about 3 to 5 times a week. I have made "friends" with some of the employees and they are very friendly. They help me whenever I need help. It's a clean and nice grocery store. It would be great if they had more choices of prepared foods, compared to other Publix's. But otherwise, they have great produce. Prices are a little high, but it's close to home and I enjoy the employees. read more

Seriously Publix??!! I just purchased your (pre pack) mojo pork, and need to share this experience as this is the 3rd time now this has happened. Stupid me but the flavor is good. I just removed globs of fat (see pic) from my mojo pork. That is way too much fat and nastiness! You would serve this to your family??? There was a time where Publix seemed to have high standards but now you're just about high prices, and based on this pork serving, screwing over customers. I suspect your sales are good because you keep raising your prices- but this has been yet another unsatisfying experience at this Publix. read more

Pretty impressed with this Publix during the quarantine time. They have ample rice, meat, veggies, and a very clean establishment. The staff is kind and helpful keeping folks positive and feeling safe. I also had my first Publix sub after years of my husband raving. And in general, I would get it again but with white bread. I love wheat but nothing compares to the pillowy white bread they make! The boars head meat, cheese, and sauce options are great along with the fresh veggies. I'm knocking a star because the wheat bread was not as satisfying and there were no spicy adder options. I was craving jalapeños or the spicy cherry pepper relish from Jersey Mikes! In general, pretty nice grocery and the staff was so kind! If we lived here, this would be a great grocery. read more

Publix is our go to for some items we can't find from the other big market we frequent for the majority of our groceries. For example we like the vegan cheeses that they carry and can't get from our other store. The employees are always very helpful and attentive throughout the store. If you don't know where something is, simply ask. I can tell the majority of the employees really put some pride into working here. On the other hand, the prices can be outrageous here when shopping for comparable items we get elsewhere (which result in the loss of two stars). You can usually find some good bogos, just need to look around. They do have a fairly decent selection of wines here as well. The temperature is usually ice cold inside which can be great in the summer coming from the hot, humid air outside. read more

Mainly the bakery - we ordered a wedding cake on short notice (2 weeks) for a beach wedding. I requested turquoise fondant icing and it was indeed divine! The cake also had a strawberry filling which was incredible combined with the sweetness of the icing. My only complaint was when my sister in law picked up the 10 inch, 1 tier cake they did not put it in a box. She had to carry it on her lap for the drive to the resort. A bit stressful for her. The customer service is top notch! They definitely aim to please! This brand of store is always so clean and welcoming! I love the fact that they have liquor stores attached to most of their locations. I intend to shop Publix when I'm in Florida. read more

Between racks upon racks upon racks of affordable wine, a respectably fresh product selection, generally cheap prices on various and sundry perishables, and a Blockbuster Express box in the vestibule... what more could you ask for? In fact, this Publix was so hospitable that we ended up coming here -literally- every single day of our vacation in Jensen Beach. In part because we cooked every day, but also in part because we went through at -least- one movie a day. Don't judge. I had a lot of catching up to do on recent (and not-so-recent) releases. Staff are helpful, reasonably friendly, and were able to not just -tell- me where to find the garlic butter, but personally walked me over and point me to where it sat on the shelf. Produce is usually fresh. Customer service is 5 stars. Bakery is amazing. So easy to order online for catering and pick up quickly. Recently they changed the deli pickup and catering pick up to guest services in the front of the store. Subs are yummy. I will always recommend publix. It is more expensive than some competitors but can be worth it. read more

was in Publix today. been shopping there for 35 years. the bread was empty no one to help. the deli had one person. the shelves were so empty throughout the store. there was two check outs and the rest self check out. I know there is a great influx of people but the store should be ready for this. will be shopping at another Publix that seems to be running better. so disappointed in our hometown Publix. read more

This store has a great staff always so friendly. It would be nice if they had the tools to make the store run like a well oiled machine. The deli has been down one scale for some time now waiting on a part from Germany. This is unacceptable with a business of this magnitude they should buy another scale and when the part arrives have the scale as aback up. The food quality is exceptional but I take exception to the prices. I go to other markets with the same exact items for a significant higher price. I can't understand why the high prices but some items I'll go to a different store or go without. read more

Terrible staff, especially at Customer Service. Bakery items are beautiful to look at but they just decorate them there. THEY BUY THEM BAKED ALREADY. That is why they taste overly sweet and overly processed. The macarons are the worst--tastes like a chemistry set. Look at the labels on the cakes, also like a chemistry set. Not freshly baked, just freshly decorated. A nice, bright store, but I am going elsewhere--staff needs training. read more

The staff vibe here is so weird, the one lady walking the floor with the apron i asked where Jarritos was at, she kept saying fritos?? Once I said it's a Mexican soda, she cut me off and said anything like that is aisle 2 and walked away. I think it was aisle 16 i found it on "soft drinks" but okay. The cashier we got couldn't be bothered to have just a standard interaction. Said hello how you doing and she just starred down at her register and said "ummmm okay?" and then continued to talk/mumble under her breath, made us feel really unwelcome. Receipt says "Andrea" was the cashier. This could just be at my local Publix or any other store in general..but usually a manager (or staff) walks by, they acknowledge with smile, how it going or even a head nod. Not the case here, manager was next to me twice and just kept his head down, i openly said to my bf the vibe of the staff here was weird and he couldn't be bothered to ask if everything was okay. read more

Publix is simply one of the greatest grocery stores in the nation. Now as far as Publix's go, this one is a little small, but the service and friendliness is there! Do yourself a favor and go to a few other Publix's to see how great they are, but this one is perfect for stocking up your timeshare! read more

Just moved to the area and thought we'd check out the nearest Publix. Initial impressions were great. The bakery looked nice, and veggies and fruits looked fresh. All was good until I got to the tomatoes. An employee named Ryan was starting to stock onions but he and the large cart were in the way of the tomatoes, I looked over at the tomatoes but couldn't reach them. He refused to budge, so I just stood there until he looked up at me, pushed the cart out of the way so hard with a frustrated motion it banged into the other side of the aisle, throwing his hands up. I told him he didn't need to act like an a-hole (and yes I used that word) and reminded him I'm the customer and you're the employee. He apologized with a sour attitude, so I told him, "like you mean it." And moved on. What a jerk. All he had to do was move the cart a small distance and he could have continued stocking while I shopped. The rest of the employees were very nice. I'm going to check out the Winn Dixie up in Port St Lucie. read more

I am a long time customer of Publix in Jensen Beach. I had an emergency situation yesterday and needed to quickly pick up medication at the Publix Pharmacy for my husband who was in serious distress. When I got there, the pharmacist was so rude to me. I explained that my husband was in great pain and asked that she please fill the prescription. She told me I had to wait until she filled all the prescriptions that had been called in ahead of my husband's. I sat for 20 minutes while she put pill bottles into bags, and was then told it would be at least another hour. It was unconscionable. No other customers were there. It would have taken 5 minutes to fill this prescription. I spoke to the manager, but still had to go sit outside and wait almost an hour. I never encountered a pharmacist who was so uncaring and so incapable of prioritizing. It was disgraceful. read more

If i could give this Publix a 0 that's what it would be . The pharmacy/pharmacist is the worst I've ever encountered. She's rude, degrading, and doesn't care about anyone but herself. She takes care of the customers whenever she feels like and besides that she'll just let you stand and wait and not acknowledge you. How does she still work here ?! read more

I will Never complain about Publix... At least I hope not. My wife and I moved to Oregon for 9 months and the grocery store options there were very limited. There was NO Publix's. We absolutely missed having one near us. Now this is not our favorite grocery store food chain... but it is very very nice to have one close by again. The produce is usually fresh. The customer service is usually nice and the store is always clean! I cant ask for much more. This particular location is well managed and is in a great location. I have no complaints. read more
