I am familiar with Publix from when I lived in Florida. This Publix is excellent, it's clean and well managed. I was greeted warmly when I entered the store. Their wine selection is better than most other grocery stores. I like how everything is organized so I can easily find it. Best of all, their pharmacy bent over backward when I left a prescription drug at home when traveling. They called my home pharmacy and got the script filled right away. I was so thankful. read more

I've ordered ahead from this deli several times, and unfortunately, my order has yet to be ready on time. Today was a new record--I waited over an hour for a sandwich that I had ordered ahead. Several customers around me ended up canceling their orders because of the long wait. What was most frustrating was the lack of urgency and poor customer service throughout the experience. I understand that Sundays can get busy, but consistently failing to have orders ready on time, especially when they're ordered ahead, is unacceptable. Terrible service. Sub lines are always long however the employees took forever to make people subs. Chatting and having side conversations. The deli department on an entirety moved slow and was underprepared. I had to wait for them to cut some more meat. The guy cutting the meat took forever and was chatting with another worker. Once my sub was made it did not look like a full sub (a PUBLIX SUB) it was more bread than meat,cheese,lettuce etc. read more

The pharmacy here (McIntosh Plaza location) is horrible. The pharmacists are quite rude and ill tempered. Their treatment of customers is inexcusable. This isn't just a one time experience either. Find another pharmacy. read more

This is my "go to" grocery. I'm usually in there at least 3-4 times a week. The employees are wonderful! Sooo helpful and congenial. The selection is phenomenal! I can get lost in time just checking out all the new and tempting items. And don't overlook the BOGO items! They will save you a lot of money!! read more

If the guys and the girls just take their time and lesson to their customer it would be a lot better place to be. all about take your money and get the next person. another thing is keep refilling the meds that you no longer use Even though you told them 100 times. just the hole entire pharmacy need help management. when they do not have some things that you need they will tell you that they are going to order it and be ready tomorrow but this is not true It will be ready a weak later. spicily that lady with an accent i don't really know if she knows what she is doing! another things the hole entire area is crowded needs more room. Move some of those shelfs out of there and make a room for people to seat and not being on top of each other. who is the store manager that just gets pay and trying to get in and out of store with out showing care!!! read more

I was running to the store for a quick errand to buy some eggs. This sweet boy Nathan helped me locate the eggs, we carried our brief conversation of me thanking him into any isle to be out of fellow shoppers ways, when some rude manager yelled nat the poor sweet boy. Her name is Kathy she yelled at the boy to get back to work when he was obviously helping me, the customer. I'll just go as far as to say she made my shopping at Publix not a pleasure. read more

I only come for the bakery and I never leave unsatisfied. Back home, the price vary by a dollar difference but everything is worth the price. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. My favorite to get are the donuts, I always get the half dozen for $2.99. Oh and the chicken salad is to die for too. read more

The selling point for this place is the fresh meat and seafood and deli. The meat case routinely has Greenwise organic beef on sale, but I wish they had less expensive cuts like London Broil in that section. However, the store is severely lacking in variety of product though, as I have yet to see much Indian offered in the ethnic section, and certain items are ridiculously overpriced in that section. I think one time I paid $4-5 for a small bag of sticky rice there. Despite this criticism, the best grocery store in Carrollton. read more
