This place was a savior for us in our Airbnb in Carrollton, as we wanted to cook several feasts and weren't sure how the grocery situation was going to be like. Kroger's was huge and had pretty much everything that we were looking for-it's reminiscent of a Wal-Mart and Safeway. When we checked out, the cashier was nice enough to let us use her store card for the discount since we were out of towners. Only peeve- the baggers use way too many plastic bags - he only put one garlic head in a bag. We had to tell him to lessen the bag usage. Lastly, a funny thing we noticed was we wanted to get some peaches since we were in Georgia and they are supposedly known for their peaches. We looked at the sticker on the peach and it said "from California." Guess we weren't too far from home! Unfortunately we missed the Georgia peaches (wherever they were). read more

The bakery - specifically cake decorating - was horrible. I first had issues with them taking an order for a cake to have musical notes put on it. Requested that the cake be decorated with spring colors and musical notes for our organist who was retiring. I received the cake with two colors (yellow and hot pink) and paper musical notes on it. It was a disgrace and an embarrassment to present at her retirement party. read more

Produce is frequently moldy. Bagged salads past expiration date or day of. Women's bathroom is typically dirty and out of soap. Not only does that indicate employees aren't washing their hands, the managers do not care. Far below quality in other places. read more

I always shop at Kroger. They have the best prices in town and the staff is always nice no matter what time of day it is.

I always come to this Kroger to pick up my mama's prescriptions and when I need to get groceries for my family. Normally, it's a little dingy, the lights always flickering and they always understaffed all the damn time but that's regardless. Today I saw a RAT in the pharmacy. It scurried around back behind the pill shelves. Momma really needed her medication so I just got it and left, but I will never return that place is so unclean! read more

Ordered a rib roast 3 days ago and paid for it. Was supposed to pick up between 12 and 1pm. Got a message that they are running late. Checked my order at about 12:45 pm. Was ready. Drive 15 miles to town and spent about 20 minutes trying to get through the parking lot. Was there at 1: 40 pm. Employee told me that my order is out of stock and they're sorry. Not once had I received notification about this. I asked for ar least my money back ($50), 5 to 7 business days. My family has now no Christmas dinner, ar least not traditional. I drove 30 miles round trip and wasted 2 hours of my time. Shame on you. Most horrible service ever. read more

Probably my least favorite grocery shopping experience in Carrollton, but they are the only one with gas and fuel points to earn for grocery shopping so I grin and bear it. Some pluses are the sushi and Starbucks. I know they are short staffed like a lot of people but they rarely have enough registers open. read more

This is the worst Kroger in all of man kind. The coupons you have that's digital half the time don't come off. If you meet the threshold and go over but $30 off $300 when you spend $420 with coupons coming off still $350 should meet the threshold it does not. Pick up is a major joke I done an order today for pickup and didn't check because I was in a rush. Got home and over half my stuff was missing medicine flour and multiple other things. I said I wouldn't be back and didn't for a year. But here we are horrible service and screwed out of $40 of groceries. I absolutely will never go back I love Publix and ingles and that is where I will stay. This is a joke of a grocery store. If you are smart you will stay away. read more

Love Kroger as a grocery store. I have been disappointed in the men's restroom the last few times I have shopped there. Men's restroom has a sign to notify a Kroger associate if the restroom needs attention. I notified an associate in the produce area that the restroom was really dirty. I later went back just to see if the restroom was cleaned and was disappointed to see nothing was done. It was filthy. Completely unsanitary. I guess it's a store pride thing but restrooms are used by young and old. This is embarrassing for such a great grocery store. read more

This Kroger is horrible! The produce always goes bad after only a couple days, their bakery is trash and I haven't had anything good from it yet. Also there gas station must be playing games because the price will jump up $.20 and then jump back down $.20 in one day. It's ridiculous and I think they just try to make more money from the people using their fuel points. read more

Went to pick up some groceries last night and wasn't impressed. It was our first time trying this location and the shelves were not very well stocked. Half of what we wanted to pickup was out of stock. Then when we checked out the woman wasn't very friendly. We had to bag all of our groceries because she had no one helping her and she was the only aisle open that wasn't self check out. Before we could even get all of groceries bagged, she started checking out the next person in line making us feel as if we were being rushed out of the way. Would have liked to give a better star rating, since the cashier was so friendly. Unfortunately, the shopping trip was miserable due to the loud and obnoxious music over the speaker. The music was so loud that we could not even discuss which food options we wanted to buy. When we come visit in Carrollton Georgia my wife loves to go to the Kroger supermarket. She feels like they have selection of items that you can't get it at our hometown supermarkets in Jacksonville. I tried calling three times, one time I was disconnected before a person came on, the other two times, the phone rang and rang. Very,very disappointed. Only place in the area with fresh good quality seafood, a built-in Starbucks, in-house sushi, a fair amount of gourmet cheeses available at reasonable prices and portions and a deli with a lot of freshly made items and meats available. read more

I usually love going to Kroger. The digital coupons and fuel points really add up to savings. I am disappointed in the service at the checkout lines though. All of the lines were extremely long (because there was only 3 registered open) during a winter storm. I had EIGHTEEN items. I was in a hurry so I figured with eighteen items (literally 3 cans of soup over the "allowed amount") I could just get through the express lane. I get up and unload my buggy and the girl looks at me and says I'm not allowed to check out there. She never counted my items. I asked her if she was seriously going to make me put all of my items back in my buggy and she said yes that I had to. So in the time that I had to put all 18 items in my buggy and everyone in line behind me back up and move, she could have checked me out. I wish I would have gotten her name. I was so embarrassed. Then as I'm standing in line at another checkout, I watched someone with an OVERFLOWING buggy go through that line. She didn't make them put their stuff back in their buggy. So I get to the cash register finally and have to BAG MY OWN GROCERIES... but that's not the part that got me. I don't care to bag my own, but there were only TWO BAGS left!!!!!!! Extremely disappointed in what it took to get my prescription transferred to this pharmacy from another Kroger. I spoke with a girl named Lacey on the phone and she made me feel like I was taking away from her precious free time by asking her to help me do this. I was also told my prescription will be done last because I still had a days worth, which has never been said to me before. I get a text saying it's ready and sure enough there is Lacey at the pharmacy check out. I walked up to the counter after standing in line for 10 minutes and asked if I could have my prescription. She then made several rude faces and walked back to get it. After coming back she told me my total and I had to remind her to scan my card, that pissed her off. As I stand here writing this she is making even more ridicule faces at customers and on the phone. Kroger this is upsetting, if she dislikes her job that much fire her. I only have a few pharmacies to pick from and would hate to have to transfer all my medications. Step it up. read more

I have to say I usually love Kroger, but this Kroger let me down today. The store was understaffed and mgt was no help. I waited in the bakery ( right beside the deli) for at least 4 min without anyone acknowledging me because the meat section was so busy. I just had a question, but they weren't interested and didn't care I was standing there. I just had a question. I went up to an assistant manager and asked about marking down the price of a bakery item because it was one day away from becoming a manager's special due to the sale date. The price difference was about 4 dollars. She referred me to the co-managers. I explained to the co managers my negative experience and asked my question. They told me that's not how they do business. They later went to talk to the deli about the bad customer experience. When I asked if they would be willing to mark the price down since it was one day away from going to the managers special they couldn't do it because it could sell for the current price in the next day. I asked what about my negative experience and they told me if they do it for me they would have to do it for everybody. I was like what! It seemed all they cared about was money and not the customer experience. I walked out with a bad taste in my mouth. What a shame. read more

I place an order for stuffing on the week of Dec 12th for Thursday 12-22 @9a. At 815 while I was in route to pick up the order I received and call from a bakery associate. The associate was notifying me that the stuffing had not been prepped the night before therefore it would not be ready today. She offered me an alternative. The alternative was to pay 6.99 a lb for frozen pre-made stuffing. I told the associate that I did not want to pay more for frozen pre-made stuffing than what I was going to pay for fresh stuffing. The fresh Chef made stuffing was quoted at 4.99 a lb. Then out of nowhere the associate tells me that there's a $20 cooking fee if the chef makes the stuffing. She tells me that it would be better and cheaper because it's the same recipe if I ordered the pre-made stuffing. After being on the phone for over 30 minutes she said she talked with her manager by the name of Daryl and the head chef. They said that they would be able to have the stuffing made by tomorrow. This was not going to work for me due to the fact that I was ordering the stuffing for an office party. The office party was taking place on that day. That was the reason I placed the order a week in advance. When I told the young lady that I did not want the frozen stuffing and that tomorrow would be too late for the fresh stuffing she said okay have a Merry Christmas and hung up in my face. She did not allow me time to say anything else. The whole debacle was a huge inconvenience. Not only did I waste my time traveling to the store but I also was not able to deliver the stuffing for the office party. I think this is very unprofessional. I shop at this Kroger often. I ordered from the bakery all the time for office parties. I even order the same exact order for stuffing last year. This is the first time that I have heard of a $20 fee for ordering food from Kroger. This is the first time that I have had this problem at Krogers. I can't believe the poor customer service that I received. read more
