It really is a pleasure shopping here. It's clean.., the employees are so nice... it's always well stocked.., produce is top notch... it's bright... the layout is instinctive and makes sense... and they let me dance in the aisles when any of my jams come on the in-store music system. (This usually happens in frozen foods, but no area is safe when the perfect song hits). I've been shopping at this store for 19 years and have totally enjoyed chatting with the cashiers, baggers and stockers. Some of them have been there as long as me! It adds a layer of comfort and enjoyment to the everyday grocery run. The bathrooms are clean-the wine aisle is plentiful... and after Hurricane Milton, when the rest of this immediate area lost power for four days, this store opened... running on a generator, with dim lighting, for just a few hours a day, until power was back up. It was a blip of normalcy, in a world that was topsy turvy right then. There's plenty of parking... the baggers bring in carts in often... there's always an employee nearby to help out if you get stuck, using the self/checkouts... (and there are plenty of manned checkouts)... you can renew your auto tags here-rent a steam cleaner-change coins into bills... and the ac is great. It can get a little crowded, by the lottery kiosk/service desk, which can make for tricky navigation out of the store during busy times. Otherwise, it's perfection. Oh! Since my last outside photos, they've painted. The exterior is white and gray now. As long as the cheerful green logo is there, I'm happy. read more

Came in for like chiky nuggies, they are 9.99 for 3 in the hot section. But buying a 8 piece box of fried chicken is $10.99!!!? Are you kidding me!? Shouldn't that make the 3 strip combo around $3-5? I always come to this publix for sandwiches always great. I pre-ordered a turkey ring leader 2 days in advance to picking up i arrive and hour early to pick up time when I got there I heard the workers in the back say they gave it out to someone else. I then go talk to the manager where'd she tried to Offer me ham sliders I declined because my family only eats turkey. My wife was very upset and asked what the point of pre-ordering if we can't get what we ordered. I love publix I'm jus disappointed they couldn't remake my order since I did place it. They refuse to honor bogo items. They usually never have the sale items in stock. I've seen turtles move faster than the deli workers. Went in for a keylime pie they were out-shocker -not-it's par for the course for them. So ordered one for the next day but surprise- they didn't make me one. I haven't been in that store since. horrible service received inadequate accommodation for a completely unavoidable situation self check out holding on to my Apple Pay and allowing someone to be able to make a purchase with my information item that I was attempting to purchase was a bag of pepperonis to my surprise my item was flagged to be 21 and older representative at the kiosk asked for my ID confused I said OK didn't know you guys needed ID to buy pepperonis She's like what you're trying to buy pepperonis, yeah that must be an error so I told her to void the item because while try to Pay for it would not let me purchase i so I then proceeded to grab another bag of pepperonis, which I went to another kiosk to pay. I make the purchase and was on my way little do I know when I get back home I see another purchase on my account that was not made by me later on I find out that supposedly there was an error on the kiosk and even though my item that was previously scanned was voided my account still stayed and my payment method still stayed so is this error by computer means or is this also error by the representative that I was helped by. Manager did not handle or sympathize with the situation correctly. I did receive a refund but no piece of mind. How can I trust your store your representatives your management there was no value in me being a customer, highly disappointed, no accountability. read more

Always great service, the only reason it's not 5 stars is because the meat department is never at the service counter maybe it's just bad timing but it's the 3rd time this has happened that I've been going to a different Publix because of it. Other than that great store read more

Went above and beyond! I had a small camera bag with a Canon DSLR on which I had pictures of the first day of my Tampa vacation. When I was leaving the store, the bag was missing and at first I did not know where it was. A few minutes later, I figured it might have fallen off the bottom of my cart while I was shopping. I went to the service desk and, lo and behold the bag was found and the nice lady handed it to me. Great job!!!!! Thank you very much! read more

This is the third or fourth Publix I have reviewed. It is the one on the Causeway between SR301 and Providence Rd. I'm not sure if it is the largest one in the Brandon area still, though it was when I first moved here. To be honest other than the size it is very similar the the other Publix markets. You can always count on the fruits and vegetables being appealing and fresh, the deli counter being pristine and well stocked (I go there mostly for the Boar's Head products), and the rest of the store being just as pristine and well organized. The are the only chain that I know of that carries Home Run Inn frozen pizzas. The secret is these frozen pizzas taste better than any delivered pizza I have had in Florida, and I have tried a lot of them. They are expensive at about $8 each, but every month or two Publix runs a buy one get one free promotion and we stock up. The shelves are constantly being restocked, so you usually won't find big empty spots where there are suppose to be sale items. But, they seem to have it down so that they can restock the shelves without blocking the aisles which is something other groceries have not quite gotten a handle on yet. If you are a bit odd like me, and really enjoy drinking plain seltzer, this is the place to buy the Syfo brand, which is the best I have ever tried (highly carbonated). The checkout is very efficient, never having the kinds of long lines you will find at Walmart. Everyone from the stock people, to the counter people, to the checkout workers always have a smile on their face and a kind word and offer of help. read more

This is probably the first Publix that I've been to in the 2010's that took me back to 1998. The layout is nearly identical to the one I grew up with- talk about major deja vu. I wouldn't necessarily call this a Super Market because they did not carry several of the items I frequently bought at the other one before moving here. The Greenwise branded items and fresh meat selection for grass fed beef is very slim here. I needed to stock up my freezer with choice meat as my husband prefers, but I couldn't even find the chicken we usually buy. This location is a disappointment on so many levels that I don't see any need to do my prime grocery shopping here. It may be okay to grab something small and generic if you happen to be on this end of Causeway-Lumsden. read more

I came in tonight with hopes of getting my fiancé chicken tenders for dinner and left with nothing. I had grabbed myself a basket and put some bogos in it before heading towards the hot food section. Noticeably, there was a long sub line perpendicular and I waited in front of the hot food for 15 minutes without being acknowledged. I am disappointed because I made eye contact with multiple workers that did not bother saying a word to me. I also witnessed a woman there for pick up and she shouted inquiring about her online order and the man never looked up and said "it wasn't ready". In that moment I realized shopping would not be a pleasure and I am now at chik fil a getting my tenders where they have excellent customer service. read more

It was so busy, so I say this knowing that. There was two cashiers checking me out because I think one was training. But the one training her was so rough with my stuff and I was buying reusable bags for my groceries and I wasn't watching what she was doing but I just know I look back and a piece of plastic flew towards my face. It was so painful but thankfully did not hit my eye. Not sure if I should final a formal complaint but their definitely needs to be a change in the way they take the tags off of the reusable bags. read more

This location is has a variety of organic and natural products. Prices are moderate but food quality is much higher than surrounding grocery stores. They often have BOGO on organic items and there is usually a clearance section. I like that they have natural toiletries as well right down to toothpaste. Lines are generally short and the store is always clean. The staff here is always polite and courteous and willing to help. If something rings up at the wrong price, they will give it to you for free... This has happened to me a couple times with produce. It doesn't apply to alcohol however. Pay attention to their weekly ad for BOGO items. Make sure to try the deli. The Publix cold cuts are just as good as boars head. read more

This location has a drive-thru pharmacy, which is fabulous when the kids are fussy and dragging them out of their car seats sounds like torture. Sadly, it has been out of order the last few weeks and I pray they are fixing it. The deli is good here and as always the Publix customer service standards are met. As with any chain, there will be ups and downs, highs and lows. Before I saw the light and made major diet modifications sans meat on most days (with the exception of cheats and special occassions) ...I used to come here for the chicken. Rotisserie, Fried, Naked wings, battered wings. YOU NAME IT!! You can always count of them for the yard bird. But not, later in the evening. I would rate them higher but their prices are moderately HIGH, the produce section is small, and they once ran out of cucumbers. Like...How does that happen? How? I feel like that's gross negligence opposed to minor oversight. I don't do my grocery shopping here, only short stops for a few items. However... Publix has Eppa Supra Fruita Sangria. It's made with organic grapes and manufactured without sulfites. (a sulfuric preservative used in most wines) I discovered this at Ciccio's when I went there every Tuesday like clockwork. It's 8 dollars a glass at Ciccio's, Publix sells the entire bottle for $10. UH...Yeaaaaa. (Side eye from Hades at Ciccio's for that legal thieving.) Anyhoo...The Red Eppa is one of my absolute favorite wines. It's amazing. It is so similar to the Sangria I had in Barcelona that I was drinking by the pitcher. I haven't had any sangria in all the of the US that can compare to this concoction and Publix sells it. I couldn't be happier about that. $10 a bottle over $8 a glass ANY DAY!! Not to mention, The wine section overall is saturated with GREAT OPTIONS!! I have found a few excellent German Rieslings. Who would've thought that? I really love my Publix, I'm a huge supporter of most Publix to begin with. A few, yet very important things that make Publix the greatest are that 1. they carry Boars Head products and 2. They make incredible sandwiches. Every Publix makes amazing sandwiches. The bread is always freshly made and soft, so tasty!! And what's funny is I am drafting this review as I stand in this ridiculously long line waiting to order my lunch. I'm a slave for great food!! If you're swinging by to give it a try, 2 of my faves are the chicken tender sub and the traditional, which consists of your choice of 2 meats from roast beef, turkey, and ham. So I will start off by saying that I have the utmost respect for Publix and the culture and service it instills in its employees. The stores are always clean and packed full of products that can satisfy the most discerning shoppers. I purposely sought out this location on my particular visit as it is much larger than the Publix that is located near where I work. I set out on a mission to purchase 2 smaller floral arrangements for a couple of people who had helped me out in a bind at work to show my appreciation. Figuring this was a larger location that had a large floral department, I figured this would be my best bet. When I arrived at the floral area there was an associate there who was assisting another customer. I patiently waited for about 5 minutes for her to finish helping the other customer before she greeted me. When I asked if they had any smaller arrangements as I had not seen any in the display cooler, I was met with the most ferocious response I have ever experienced in my shopping let alone Publix shopping experience. The associate very rudely advised me she had only been at work for 30 minutes, despite it being almost 1pm, and that if it wasn't on the shelf they did not have it and she knew there were none in the back. Having been met with such a harsh tone and response, I figured there was no use to even discuss options as this lady did not even seem concerned with trying to help me find a solution to an item I needed that they didn't have in stock. I figured at this point there was no more point in hanging around any longer and I took my business elsewhere. As I said before, this is not an indication of any other Publix location I have ever visited, however, this store really needs to check the service level its employees provide. I certainly hope not every employee in this store is as rude and apathetic as this produce/floral associate was. read more

My $300 purchase at the Hood Road store in Palm Beach Gardens was split in 2 transactions. The credit card machine didn't work so they called a brown haired overweight short woman from management (don't know her name) and she refused to look at my cc screen but kept grabbing my credit card and contaminating it with her ungloved hands. So we stood there for a while holding up the line due to her refusal to help with the credit card machine. She was extremely rude and told me to go to another register instead of offering to see what the cc machine was saying in Spanish. I speak English not Spanish. I asked for a higher store manager and this woman rolled her eyes and said she doesn't need to this. An assistant manager gentlemen came and kindly talked me through the transactions. Despite this other manager holding up the line, putting everyone at risk due to her attitude, she stormed off stating "I don't need to put my life on the line for this". This is what we have come to refer to as a "coronavirus attitude" mostly on the part of management that has not been educated and trained on how to provide customer service during a pandemic. Employees like her should be furloughed or let go. They don't want to be at work, behave as if they are forced to be at their jobs and feel the need to announce that they are only coming to work to put themselves at risk and do you a favor. Customers are being put at great risk when managers are not doing their job to manage and assist with legitimate issues. With so many people out of jobs, you are better served by keeping the people who want to work, of which there are many. It makes for a safer environment. This kind of unprofessional and antagonistic behavior on the part of management sets a very poor example for the rest of your employees. It's absolutely shameful that these kind of employees think they are doing the customer some kind of favor by being at work when there are millions of unemployment claims and others who can respectfully and professionally do their job. read more

I love Publix! This store is an older Publix in a busy shopping mall, but the service is always the same in most stores-top quality. My goal today was to purchase a birthday cake for my hubby and I didn't want to get a basic Publix cake (which I love by the way, don't get me wrong!- I would put up a fist fight over the last Publix cupcake...Just kidding, well maybe) I decided that I wanted to mix it up with a cookie cake and cupcakes for his birthday party, but I wanted to put it all in one presentation. The bakery team member was so helpful and put it all together in a box for me to make it presentable when we sing him "happy birthday." I couldn't have been more please and happy with my spontaneous birthday cupcakes & cookie cake! Of course, while I was there had to pickup their ALWAYS fresh produce and get BOGO snacks for the kiddos....Publix rocks! read more

I love Publix and can say I'd miss it if we moved! The staff are always nice and helpful. They always offer to help me out to my car after I've finished checking out. Big plus: the store is always CLEAN! They always have some sort of sale or BOGO going on. The produce always looks fresh, and so do the flowers. They have a fairly good selection of organic/health food items as well. Their subs are to die for! You can't mess with a Publix sub! by far the best subs around! Their chicken wings are also really good too! The bakey always has fresh bread you can buy. The half loafs are such a great deal you can mix and match a few types to try them. They make this Honey Chicken Salad in the Deli are and it is amazing! It has been a while since I've seen it but it is really good! They also have a good selection of seafood and it always looks good. read more

First time in a Publix. It's definitely a decent store. The one I went into had a deli, but not a salad bar. I'm not sure if they're all like that, but I was really hoping for a fresh salad bar. They don't have as large a selection as I would like but they had plenty to work with. The produce section looked great from a distance, but that's not what I stopped in for. I love Publix! This is my local Publix and I pop in here several times a week to pick up random things or grab a Pub sub. They have decent BOGOs here and they put them right up front to grab your attention, I'm a sucker for a good BOGO. I have no complaints about their selections or brands. I feel like Publix gets new products before other stores, just check out the yogurt/dairy aisle and you'll see what I mean. I also love Publix brand products, I normally buy Publix brand over name brand. My only complaint is the deli area. I have definitely waited half an hour to order a sub because they only had 1-2 people working. I now order online for pickup to avoid the line, that's a nice feature! I was very sick once with the flu and they were out of my favorite chicken noodle soup. The woman at the deli was busy but she made me a priority and went back to get more soup, it's the little things. Customer service here is amazing, they just need more staff behind the deli and behind the customer service area where they process lotto tickets and Western Union. read more

I honestly got tired of buying expensive flowers online that usually only last a few days so I started buying my girlfriends flowers here. They always last about 2 weeks if you add the flower seeds/food properly and they are about 85% cheaper than buying them online, but look just as good if not better. read more
