This isn't just the worst Publix, this is the worst grocery store I've ever been to. I recently moved here and each and every time I go they don't have what I'm there for. Basics like green onions. Boars Head Deluxe ham. Nope. A dry pasta. Basically staples at any other market are always out of stock here. I'm done with this place and will try another. Hopefully with better luck. read more

I came to this Publix however the one at Naples town center is closer, over there the manager is a complete subhuman in that way I drive to a further store. Here staff is friendly and my service animal that doesn't bother anyone is welcome. Great shopping and lots of shaded parking spots read more

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

I really love all the Publix supermarkets here in Naples. They go above and beyond the call of duty! I had that experience at the Publix on Thomasson Dr....Shops at Hammock Cove, a good one at that. Miryam at the service desk got the manager to help me with an issue regarding something I had purchased that day. Aricy, the mgr. went out of the way and took care of my problem. The first time I came to this market was because it was close to where I live. I found everything I needed to get from vegan products to fresh vegetables and fruits; even organic choices were available here! I was thrilled! I even found muscat grapes from Georgia that I've never had before! It's a clean place and the staff says hello and greet you when you pass them. The cashiers and the grocery baggers are very nice and always ask me if I need some help to the car. read more

There is a reason this place has two stars... Everything in the bakery is over cooked!! The cookies are half way burnt... I remember when they where nice and chewy. Now they are rock hard!!! The employees are lazy and will not make any effort to help you at the deli..... A lot of laziness in this place!! I have tried to get a publix sub multiple times here and just left, because nobody wanted to help me.... Nobody is in line, I'm the only one there!!! Hands down the worst Publix I've ever been to. The employees in the deli are by far the rudest people I've ever encountered. Always slow moving, inconsiderate and hard to understand. This store is conveniently close to my house which is the only reason I have subjected myself to shop there the past 3 years. It was a pleasure to shop at this Publix Super Market and receive such excellent service. I was trying to locate a particular item that I could not find on my own. I asked the gentleman in the produce department if he knew which aisle I could locate this item. He dropped what he was doing and took me over to the area in the store he thought it could be found. Unfortunately, the item was not in the area he thought. He referred me to the the manager who was in the same area , and he quickly located the item. It was a very refreshing shopping experience to be served in a professional and caring manner. Kudos to these staff members who went above and beyond the call of duty. You would really think that a big company like Publics could list their hours properly. Really poor management and very annoying!!!

I've been coming to this Publix for over a year now. I know some faces, know them sometimes by the first name. I work as a Beauty Advisor at Sally's; in the same shopping plaza. So far, two employees have given me issues. Aside from the slow deli service, )which that is a whole separate issue), Jhrod is the only employee who gives me attitude and looks at me like I have two fucking heads. I waited a long time to put a review for him, hoping he would recognize the tone of his voice and his facial expressions were unnecessary; no dice. Now, mind you, a lot of time has passed since I walk into the pub deli. So I spoke the manager about him, finally, yesterday. Manager and cashier were kind enough to listen to me. Didn't catch their names though. Will have to remember their faces instead to properly thank them. I haven't gone in since but hopefully he cleans up his tone. I work in retail; trained by the best of the best; Jhrod doesn't seem to hold up. Maybe he's frustrated with Pub corporate; I understand that wholeheartedly; I work for corporate myself! But, honey, you still work with customers. ONTO the next, new hire I believe, yeah she came into my Sally's aaaand boy oh boy. She's a cashier; had her uniform on and all, and maybe she's running late for work but she also needs to understand the importance of not just "please and thank you" but also how to speak to a cashier. Ironic, considering she's one herself. I have no issues with the other cashiers. They're all super nice to me. Hence my three stars. Sorry guys. read more

Wow. What can i say. I work nearby and go here for lunch mostly everyday. If you stay away from the deli stay away. First of all they never have chicken tenders if they know that those are what people want the most why dont they make em? This is everyday. Also they are so rude. The main manager is super rude to the employees and so fake. I very much think she should go. It is true that they do not speak english it is so hard to order something from them. They move so slow that they if they moved any slower they would be standing still. Ridiculous. read more

Arrived in Naples for a Christmas-New Year getaway. We enjoy discovering good restaurants while vacationing in new locations, but I'll always cook a dinner or two in the condo. A trip to Publix late on Sunday afternoon provided all we needed for a surf & turf dinner . . . a well-marbled ribeye that grilled to medium rare perfection and tenderness; six plump scallops (previously frozen but the best I could do on a Sunday evening); fresh escarole but bagged arugula; tomatoes, avacados, shallots and garlic; potatoes for broiling al Parmigiano; fresh French bread; and a fair wine selection (Gewurtztraminer Riesling, Pinot Grigio Italiana and a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir). As a long time Naples resident, I realize that Publix prices go up where there are more poor who have access to the store, and that they (like some other businesses in Naples) gauge in off-season. This is the worst Publix store I have been in throughout Naples, Florida. I would consider this store to be more like a "stop and get milk and eggs." They always run out of groceries and other items. They are a little unprofessional as well and many that work there seem to have a lack of experience and knowledge about there merchandise. I have to think it's a "management" problem. This is absolutely the worst Publix I've ever been to I wasat the deli today for 15 minutes before I finally walked away because there is one guy making subs for 10 people they were out of chicken in the hot case I threw my hands up and said forget it and walked next door and got Chinese. The worst service I need to figure out how to hire other people to just Hations and Learn how to staff properly I grew up here on Publix subs, they used to be the best in town now you're lucky if you can even get one the way that you want it and in a timely fashion so disgusted with this place. read more
