The gentleman directing the French wine tasting was extremely rude. hHe was so busy trying to sell wine to one customer that he would not make eye contact, just glanced away and ignored you I was there for 10 or 15 minutes and could not even get a taste of wine or an acknowledgment that he would help After about 15 minutes of being ignored, I decided to leave I am not one to write reviews, especially -ones that are negative, and this does not reflect the regular staff at Summerland wines and spirit, but if they're going to have a wine tasting, please find somebody that is pleasant to all people that was my first and my last time I will go there for these events

We walked in and ended up hanging out with a group of locals who worked around the Key West area. Everyone was incredibly friendly, gave us awesome beer recommendation...all of which were fantastic...and then started sharing insider tips on dinner spots and some of the best-kept secrets in the Keys. It felt less like stopping at a brewery and more like getting welcomed into the community. The beer itself was outstanding with plenty of variety, and we'll definitely be back tomorrow...not just for more recommendations, but because the beer was genuinely that good. If you're looking for a true taste of local flavor, great people, and excellent beer, this is an absolute must-stop when visiting the Keys.

Samples for $2.50 per person were provided by the kid working the rum counter. We tasted the different Papas Pilar rums and each were good but the dark rum was excellent. The kid provided a ten minute lesson on the three rums which were sold in shop for up to $550.00 per bottle.

I on the other hand, tried an old-fashioned and it was delicious. Next we sampled a flight of the Papa Pillar distillery Rums , and a couple of them were absolutely delicious. then we moved on.... Quick tip, I guess try to look at their menu online so that by the time you make it up to the bar, you know exactly what you want. And don't order the premade daiquiri It's un impressive.
