We stopped in here to get all our beverages for the cruise and it did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable, plenty to choose from, staff was friendly.

Believe it or not I haven't gone to Publix in years let alone this new store on Sheridan Street East before the beach. So why did I go? Was in the mood for Taylor Pork Roll and after Googling it this was the closest location near my home. Once inside it was crazy so many people inside shopping on a Sunday morning. There is tons of choices and items. I made my way to the back of the store and snagged a package after checking the expiration dates first. Than headed to a register at the front of the store. That is when I got on an Express lane for 10 items or less. Of course the man in front of me had twice that amount of items and looked pretty damn happy about it. I said nothing. Once he left I asked the cashier why he didn't say anything? He made like no big deal. Well why have rules than if they aren't followed? So all the other customers that follow the rules suffer. Yeah next time I will mail order Taylor Pork Roll instead. Thanks Publix but no because unlike your jingle shopping isn't a pleasure here I get more joy at Costco!

This salad was the bomb! So sweet and cold and crisp and flavorful. Mixed berry salad

This Publix is right Dow the road from my work place and this grocery store is somehow above other Publix grocery stores and I frequently go to different ones. The greetings from the bakery to the deli are always spot on. The butcher BY HAND cut all my pork roast.. Can you say GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Seafood always have a nice smile and a hello when you walk by. Subs are always excellent and the bakery has totally been stepping it up with visual and very fresh treats, along with the salads that are so stunning to look at and very tasty to eat! Would love to see them bring in a fresh machine juicer for the orange juice would be excellent and a more choice of buffet. Winn Dixie has them beat on that. But wait until you see the salad pictures. Salads looked so good I bought four and a grilled chicken pasta salad. It was light and delicious. I took a pic of a chantilly lace cake that I did not buy but wished I would have. Love this Publix. Worth my drive and better than the new one on Hollywood circle

As you can see the people in front of me we're waiting for 40 minutes

The Deli staff is incredibly terrible they make you wait 40 minutes to even ask you what you want. The attitudes are out of control and quite frankly do not feel like waiting 40 minutes for a sub.

Bakery section. The key lime pie was good!

We always manage to scout out a grocery store no matter whether we travel stateside or abroad. Publix was one of the closest stores to where we were staying in Ft. Lauderdale. The store was clean, well stocked and proved to be great for picking up items that were great during our trip. They had a hot food bar, where we got some amazing fried chicken wingettes to eat with those wonderful Church's biscuits (see review). They also had ready made cold salads, sandwiches and assorted tossed salads, items for the busy vacationer to eat and go! They also had a beer and wine area to grab a six pack or bottle of vino to make your meal complete. The produce section was well organized and items were fresh. The bakery section was chock full of sweet treats that we couldn't walk away without purchasing a few! All in all a great market to shop in during our trip.

I love publix especialy this location but let me tell you everything is great and they got almost everything you need but the workers are super slow Especially the ones making your food The wait will at least last on average minimum to get a wrap or sandwich about 10-15 minutes at minimum and thats on a good day Other than that this place is great Publix is the go to spot for legit everything

    Wickedly slow service.

I will be staying at a nearby hotel before vacation, and was just wondering how the liquor selection is. Is it just wine and beer or can i get rum and such?

It has lots of Eastern European products along with a fresh bakery and fresh prepared foods aisle. Some products are cheaper than say Publix and others were more expensive. But you won't find some of the European ethnic foods like a gazillion types of sardines and olives, and pickled products to choose from in your mainstream grocery. If you are looking for a certain European grocery item, chances are they will have it here. They even have a fresh fish section. It's freezing in here so bring a jacket/sweater. I really enjoyed browsing the aisles making note of some hard to find items for my next culinary adventure. The aisles are very narrow however so best to come early in the morning at opening. It was empty when I came in at that time. Definitely will be back!

NetCost Market was founded in 2000 by Sam and Eduard Shnayder in Brooklyn, NY. It was an extension…read moreof their 1997 wholesale business, Royal Seafood Baza. From the first Brooklyn location they expanded to New Jersey, throughout New York, and across the northeast. It has since grown into a major international grocery chain specializing in Eastern European, Russian, and Eurasian goods with over 45,000 products. I recently had the opportunity to visit this NetCost Market in the Oakwood Plaza in Hollywood, Florida. If you join the free NetCost market Club you can unlock special deals and discounts. I was impressed with how bright and spotless this store is. Everywhere I looked there was someone cleaning, sweeping, and straightening. NetCost has the typical pantry staples you would expect to find but I was drawn to the colorful produce section with unexpected finds like mandarin oranges wit the stems and leaves for $2.49 a pound and dainty little lady apples for $3.99 a pound. Throughout the store their dumpling fest was being advertised for $3.49 a pound. The bakery and hot prepared foods department looked enticing, especially the cabbage rolls. It was nice to see some many foods from my Polish ancestry represented. In the front of the store is a coffee shop with a seating area and more delectable pastries for sale. I love exploring world markets and this was one of the cleanest and nicest I have come across. If I lived local i would be a regular shopper, especially on nights when I don't feel like cooking dinner. The Hollywood community is lucky to have such a great food shopping resource.
